- Here is my top 9 tips for Lands of Lore: The Throne of Chaos.

A couple of extra tips: F1 to F3 can be used to attack. It can be very helpful if you are cornered and is much faster than clicking attack on each character.
Speaking of clicking: Instead of left clicking through the inventory at the bottom one slot at a time you can skip a whole page by right clicking the arrows.
Lastly: The Scotia save game editor is absolutely fantastic and can be a lot of fun to use if you just want to fool around or get you out of a buggy situation.
You can also kill the ghosts with the emerald blade.
That’s what I do, by using the emerald blade on the ghosts you gain lots of experience for the fighter skills.
Very good tips. I'm currently doing a playthrough on Ferocious, so sometimes getting killed isn't avoidable. But these are definitely great ways to maximize your chances.
nice tipps. so great there is some content for my fav game of all time. ive few tipps more: 1. if you explore the fist forest dont go on the boat. go back in the castle and sell evrything you found adn buy yourself the best weapon from victor. thats makes the early game much easier. 2. the money altar in the swamp isnt just for money. cause money is useless. the seller dont have so much things to sell. but there is one very usefull item which you can buy infinity from the swamp shaman. its the fire staff. so the trick is to make money and then buy tons of the staffs and have an easy late game. 3. there is a chest in the last castle whihc cant be open if you dont have a very high rogue skill. in it is the westwood staff which makes sometimes 1.000 damage per hit
also the best char is michael. cause hes bugged. if you reach magic lvl 2 with him he will be very powerful in magic

Don't forget to find the "Hand of fate" spell in the town behind a loosely barricaded door.

@@Platschu That's it - i was attacking the doors with the weapons - thx - this was a riddle for years for me. I remembered to see the spell on at a friends but only found the glove to cast this spell. T
The only suggestion i remember is about the Paulson-Valean's cubes. They are the most powerful weapon of the entire game because they allow infinite accumulation of mana and from it infinite accumulation of health and spells.The first time i found and used them i thought they were a bug because they are clearly owerpowered.

I tried to pick Michael last time on Android ScummVM (cd version) and...well, he's very strong. Very powerful and he doesn't miss shots so often.
1 explore every level, fight every enemy and do not use magic (heal only). Do not burn nests or close gates, keep fighting respawned enemies.
2 @swamp bring helmet to the chief, sell everything you don't need, decipher the riddle 4 times (half price for heroes) and buy some fireball sticks (it increases your magic skill very fast). Then attack gorkhas, they are so juicy and give you a lot of hit points.
3 white tower lv.3: well, I checked many walkthroughts and all these guys say you cannot complete this section (and the game) without a valeans cube. It's not true. If you have good fighter skill on your characters you can do what you want. Equip emerald blades on michael and baccata, heal spell ready and fight. Do not use the cube. You do a lot of damage to those ghosts and your fighting skills will increase very quickly. You should stay here even if you complete the level keep killing them until you reach fighting level 7 (or 8..better). Maybe 10 or 15 minutes.
4 with these warriors and good weapons, Yvel siege and catwalk caves are a joke.
5 before reaching the castle cimmeria, help the Xeobs. I know, fighting Knowles is very annoying (they quake you removing your wapons). But when you win they'll increase all characters fighting skill to 9 (by one). Use empty rooms to rest and remember: they can burn your armor (remove it).
6 in the castle, put your emerald blades on and heal spell ready to use (same strategy you used in the white tower). No problem to kill em all. If you haven't reach fighter level 9 you can push a wall button in level 1 (you hear a female scream) which always respawns flying axes. Push button -> turn around -> kill axes and push again. Just use some magic item on scotia to finish her.
