Awesome metal pioneers. Kevin’s lead guitar phrasing can be heard in every thrash, death solo ever, especially in Jeff and Kerry’s solos. A great compliment.
Comes off as an insult. Kevin is a fantastic player, don't compare him to Kerry. Sure Kerry can play great rhythm but he's literally one of the worst lead players ever. Just "whammy go brrr"

Kevin deserves a heavy medal for holding on to the flame. Perfect singer and frontman. Kevin = Angelwitch. Another vocalist would simply break the magic.Shame girl-fans weren't as hot when Angelwitch made their debut. ;-)

Outstanding lead guitarist Heybourne...and pretty tight line up as well. Too bad I never looked into Angel Witch during my teenage years which consisted of copious amounts of Maiden, Diamond Head, ACDC and Metallica.

A truly excellent band in their day , exemplary guitar and great riffs. Sorry they never did better having said that I did see them live at chadwell heath and they'd been billed as Ken Haybarns Anglerwitch so maybe it was bad luck and poor management?

This band had (And still does) awesome energy, riffs, metal grooves and guitar tones as good as anything around at the end of the 70's. I was hoping they'd be really big like Iron Maiden became. I think why they didn't make it big was because the singing just doesn't quite cut it. He sounds like he's whinging. They needed a proper frontman, someone dark and enigmatic who could sell the attitude of the band.
+William Moody kevin's vocals are perfect for this kind of heavy metal, its raw, real and in style of early occult heavy metal. i mean it cant get worse than dave mustaine :D but megadeth could not exist without vocals like that for example.
the singer was great back then, trust me..best band ever ...best sychedelic metal ever ...they actualy invented metal..everything else came afterwards...now why they didnt go farther? very simple , bad managment

It was originally intended for release but the Lineup changed just after the video was completed so it looked unlikely it would ever be released so I decided to put it on youtube.
I saw Angel Witch in 1980 they had their first album out and this set is more or less the same set. They were great back then and still Great today

Angel Witch was front and center in the NWOBHM lineup. They had an enormous influence on the Texas Metal bands; S.A. Slayer, Watchtower, Helstar...
The soundtrack to this is a F**ing live album! I've played this venue in Camden myself and it's always a great gig there.
