    If you're like me and came to rhis video hoping to figure out how to remove the very last screw (the one on the moving wheel/disc) it turns iut it's reverse threaded and easy to strip. I got it off by holding the wheel with one hand so it wouldn't spin and then carefully but forcefully using a hand screwdriver turned the screw clockwise (like you'd normally tighten a screw)

    The screws are insane! Can't believe adults designed and approved this thing. I hate mine, and I'm trying to get the word out. Every other dishwasher you just have to unscrew by hand to clean it. Sorry to be a downer, just upset.

    I feel so accomplished! I was about to call a repairman, but then I found your awesome video. Cleaned everything out and am now running a cycle to make sure it works! Thanks.

    It was quite a job getting all the screws out, and what a mess underneath. We got it all cleaned up and it seems to be working. Thank you for your video!

    thank you for this. we have this in our house, and been getting warning light about it not draining. took it apart like this and cleaned it all out, lots of calcium scale and mung. cleaned it all out, used a shop vac that sucked all the mung out, wasnt hard to do. i will never buy another dishwasher that doesnt have a removable filter. this is not a good design for long term.

    The arms pop off also, might be easier to pop the arm off first then you don't have to keep rotating it around to get to all the screws. Then you can also gently use a toothpick to get any food particles that may be stuck in the arms sprayer holes :)

      Don’t use wooden tooth picks, sometimes they break off & stay in the holes. Use a metal pick.

    I like the way she couldn’t get the last screw into the last hole so she just said screw it, and left it out. 😂😂😂😂😂😂

    I’m having the same problem as Joel Sarmiento. Just can’t get that little bugger loose. I did get it to turn but no joy. FYI, yours was the only video I have seen which takes this step, and it seems like a pretty important one. Maybe Liquid Wrench?

      Me too. Tried holding the white part from turning by sticking a screwdriver in it, still couldn't get the screw loose. I was wondering if maybe it's reverse thread? I ended up stripping out the phillips head...

      @@WillBenson24 That screw has to be turned the opposite way to come off, ie, to the right, lefty tighty , righty loose.

    I own this piece of garbage dishwasher. It came with our home and, I. Hate. It. Who in their right mind would design a dishwasher like this that can't be cleaned without having at least an A.A. degree in plumbing. Hubby has patiently cleaned the pile of crap twice and it stinks every 6 months of so. We also have a huge custom sized Samsung twin cooling fridge that is so big it looks like a morgue refrigerator and, it too is a piece of crap. The interior leaks water, the self close door has broken and due to "covid" they can't seem to fix it. Such a load of crap. Stay away from this stuff at all cost. Anything is better, and to boot, this shiz is expensive. Argh....it just bugs me to no end that someone signed off on the engineering of this lemon.

      We bought Samsung appliance package a few years ago. Have had problems with all appliances except the microwave. Dishwasher was replaced, under warranty after two years, the new one is the crappiest dishwasher ever (especially after the warranty expired). So many problems with the French door fridge with bottom pull out freezer and burner issues with stove. I wish I could toss it all out.

    Hi, do all the screws come off counterclockwise? I can’t get the screw off that takes the little off white round thing that spins, which is under the filter screen. It went too fast in the video. I wondering if mine is just stripped.

    • @irhumbled
      @irhumbled 2 роки тому

      Did you get it off? I’m half way stripping it trying to hold it and unscrew it

    • @PS3Ecliptik
      @PS3Ecliptik Рік тому +1

      It''s reversed threaded so you probably stripped it by now.

    • @irhumbled

      @@PS3Ecliptik i did get it out lol. It was reverse threaded!

    • @juliepender7157
      @juliepender7157 Рік тому +1

      Yes, as others have said it's reversed threaded so you need to turn it counter-clockwise to get it off. I had to use another screwdriver where to hold it in place so it wouldn't turn while I unscrewed it.

      It may be a clockwise losen screw, because it’s attached to a moving impeller

    I totally agree with “can’t believe an adult designed this.” Bozos. Don’t buy Samsung!! Costco comes up lame. Must prewash”. Dishes are filthy after 3 washes. Samsung repair guy says they suck. After 3 months, brand new, chucking it for a $1000 Bosch with easy-to -remove screen/filter. And no.prewash. Anyone want this 3 month old Samsung? In Philly.

    C'mon Samsung, could have made another system a lot faster to clean. Was this cheaper than using a food grinder inside the machine like I use to have? If I've known ahead of time I would have look for another brand. Make the video slower by tuning it at the setting at bottom off video (wheel) put it at .5 or .25 Some screws are removed counter clockwise or vice versa at the beginning.
