Upgraded from 6700 to a Gigabyte 7900 GRE and it turned out to be the perfect upgrade 🙏🏽 If you can find one for the right price, I highly recommend it
It's a great upgrade from the 5700XT. Considering that I went from an RX 580 to 5700XT and 7900GRE in a span of 7 months, runs all the games I played at above 60fps in 1440P. The only issues I have with the card is while playing Enshouded (sometimes crashes when memory is overclocked) and FFXV (Random CTD and TRAM consuming 16GBs worth of vRAM).
I appreciate all the high end AMD stuff, but I haven't seen mid range AMD stuff for quite some time, I can understand that most people are buying 3060 or 4060 and algorithm generally does better with Nvidia cards but it's my humble request to make more videos on those $200-400 AMD cards like 6600, 6700, 7700, 7600, their XT versions etc.

You ever think about testing Starfield more on this GPU or other GPUs? Been a while since the game came out, had several patches, and it would be nice to see you test other areas besides New Atlantis. When will you benchmark Dragon Ball Sparking Zero?
I had the gre for about a month and a half before upgrading again, the gre is probably the best value card rn
I've found that XeSS has an unreasonably high performance impact on AMD -- better to use FSR if you want to try any ray tracing
I just now got the notification for this video even though I already watched it UA-cam is broken.
I got mine for $520 along with the 7800x3d for $340(before the price hike and it being sold out), it is my first pc i built myself and i've been loving it.
You test so many GPUs your collection must be crazy bro
Doin the Lord's work 🙏💪
I want a 7900GRE... Pretty sure it's the perfect Max out card for my 5800X
Tho that won't be for a while because I just upgraded from a 5700XT to a 6700XT and honestly... I don't even play anything that the 5700XT couldn't handle at 1440P
Upgraded from 6700 to a Gigabyte 7900 GRE and it turned out to be the perfect upgrade 🙏🏽
If you can find one for the right price, I highly recommend it
It's a great upgrade from the 5700XT.
I appreciate all the high end AMD stuff, but I haven't seen mid range AMD stuff for quite some time, I can understand that most people are buying 3060 or 4060 and algorithm generally does better with Nvidia cards but it's my humble request to make more videos on those $200-400 AMD cards like 6600, 6700, 7700, 7600, their XT versions etc.
still waiting for rx 5600xt in 2024. love the video
Nice video. Would love to see a 4K experience video using the same card.
Yes really the way of testing hardware and software: playing!
This card can OC pretty good so i think you should OC it and benchmark again at 4k, that would be interesting to see how well it would perform at such a high res
i am more impressed with how this gpu is always cold, why not overclock it until it hits at least 70c?
i see how you enjoing cs2 with these flicks, very good brother, nice aim
Wanna know something I find funny:
The fact that most GPUs are worse than the GTX 1080 TI so that’s the way I shop for GPUs so that’s why I’m gonna get the RTX 3070
The only reason to pick up 7900 gre is the OC capacity. After AMD fixes the "bug," this card can easily achieve 10% or more performance with OC.
I’m new to this. What’s OC? And what’s this bug
@lilpipe7162 I'm pretty sure amd just locked the setting it probably was not a bug but they would not let you overclock your memory and this card lacks memory so you would not see much oveclock boost before the update
@@JesManVP they say its a bug so it has to be a bug,
@@lilpipe7162 over clock, you can find many video about how to over clock 7900 gre or other cards on youtube
@@VerManJI nah why would they make it a bug for 6 months
I was legit gonna ask you to make this video yesterday.
You ever think about testing Starfield more on this GPU or other GPUs? Been a while since the game came out, had several patches, and it would be nice to see you test other areas besides New Atlantis. Places like Akila City, Cydonia, Neon and Paradiso are all pretty intensive at ultra settings. Lots of forest areas on alien planets are also very intensive. One day I hope to see Starfield get FSR 3.1 that will be fun! If you read my comment thanks. Love your videos.
In elden ring, you are able to download an fps unlocker that mostly works. I have a 4070ti and it seems to cap around 140 ish fps
according to digital foundry the game (silent hill 2) does compiler shaders. the stutter issues are deep down in the coding. gonna be hard to fix.
why don't you try Benchmarking's optimized settings for Black Myth Wukong?
in my region this card costs 70k INR (850$), is it worth?
Great video!
Prob gonna buy this gpu
Great card for overcloacking
Great video as always !!
One question though, if I enable Frame Generation and then lock the fps to say 65-70fps, then would it reduce the input lag while maintaining the smoothness of always above 60fps??
I am talking about games like Wukong where native FPS is around 60 but not above 60 all the times.
Could you test frame generators in forza horizon 5? This would be an interesting experiment.
