First trip after new engine 2022 Tundra

- We took the 2022 Tundra on a 10hr round trip to the Ozarks the day after I got it back from the dealer after the engine failure. I made this video in September 2023, and I sold it back to Toyota 1 month later.

Good to see it back on the road! I am slowly sorting out some of my issues, one at a time!
I got tired of the issues and ended up doing the buyback :(
Have you considered doing oil analysis on this engine to see if it gives you any warning before failure should it happen again? I use Blackstone Labs and am happy with them.
I thought about it yes, but I did not end up doing it on this truck. I was so wary of it after getting it back from the dealer. I was quite sure I wasn't going to keep it and did end up having Toyota buy it back from me. If they gave me any trouble with the lemon law process I planned on doing an oil analysis to give them
@@TheGaginator I don't blame you. Last thing you need is for another engine to fail just out of warranty down the road. I have a 2018 Tundra and plan on keeping it forever. I'm fortunate enough to also drive company trucks a lot so I might never buy a new one again for myself.
Why did you have to replace the engine? What happened?
The engine locked up at 16k miles!
His power steering light came on and that blew I mean locked up the engine ....
I thought you sold it back as a Lemon?
Do you get to keep the truck with Lemon payback?

There is a law for an option to keep it

The power steering light came on because the system noticed the vehicle was still moving, but there was no feedback on the power steering pressure sensor. I thought it was funny that the power steering warning was on, and the engine was locked up.
What would I have to gain from making all this up?
