the best cooking videos are 8 minutes and under. Definitely like this guy's style of instruction. Dude doesn't stand in front of a cabinet and talk for 20 minutes before cooking, nor does he use 12 different camera angles. Just straight to the point, get the beautiful food prepared and presented kind of flow...big ups.
☺️
Totally agreed. Most of the time with cooking videos I end up feeling like it's needlessly complicated or drawn out. This one, I'm actually going to try making!
i question your ability to spot the camera angles. chopping garlic took 3. Putting a pot on the stove, lighting it, and adding olive oil also had an angle for each punctuation in this sentence. 😂🤣
Anyone can make a video in under 8 mins if you upload at 2x speed like this one lol.
That's a long winded comment!
I love how he just goes "bowl," "noodles," "ginger and garlic"...
"bowl" is always my favorite
I love that too. I noticed right at the start.
Me too. I’ve started saying it when I follow his recipes. Bowl. Garlic. Freaks my husband out.
It's so good lol.
"Video" 😀
I love how he delivers the recipe! No extraneous fluff.
☺️
right? no drama....he GETS TO IT...I adore him!
We have to be the change we want to see in the world.
Yeah! Short, sharp...deliver!👍🏼
The most efficient cooking channel ever. It makes me want to do the same with my comments.
Me: Video. Bowl. Vegan ramen. Delicious.

@@YEUNGMANCOOKING I made this dish yesterday and my whole family (included my 3 years old daughter) loved it. :D
Can't wait to get your book. :D
Personnaly, I live in a village, in a cosy house with quite a big garden, with my husband, son, daughter and my father (he lives with us due to his health condition) therefore the quarantine could seem pretty like vacation, except for the fact that I have to work while taking care of everyone...
That looks totally bomb💣👌
I'm gonna have to make that chili oil lol
Love this
I love the way you give your cooking instructions. "Noodles" "bowl" "green onions" straight to the point. Made my day ☺️
🍜🥳
Ive been searching for something that tastes like this for years. Ive tried so many satay style recipes, but in this one you've completely destroyed my brain. I can't believe it. Your method IS PERFECT. I've made it the last 2 days and I had to come back and tell you how well it went, holy crap.
So thrilled to hear that Adam ☺️🙌🏻🍜 I admire you’re letting me know!
Love your style of cooking ! I'll try this . Am pretty sure it will turn out good .
It feels like im cooking with a drill sergeant
😅😅😅
I was going to say it's Gordon Ramsey!
Haha he doesn't shout at you like one. Wil is efficient, its the Asian way. 😉
Hahaha!!!! I agree - so precise, no BS!! Absolutely love it!!
Can't unhear it now
I've made this every day for the past 3 days in quarantine and it's GREAT. the peanut butter flavor is pretty subtle so if you want it to be more peanut butter-y I'd say use 2-3 tbsp peanut butter.
Amazing!!! Thanks for sharing that 👨🏻🍳🙌🏻🍜
Can we use any brand of peanut butter? Or are you using a specific one?
Any brand but one that is a natural smooth
@@teddyvalentine1053 chunky peanut butter works better than creamy version
Does it serve 1 or 2? TIA
Simple, clear cut instructions. LOVE IT!
i love all your videos ! thanks for being there !
Tried this last night. Absolutely amazing - just the perfect, wholesome, chilly night meal.
This recipe was recommended to me by UA-cam - the recipe and instructions were simple and I just so happened to have all of the needed ingredients! Amazing dish, made it for dinner tonight and will definitely add this into the weekly menu for my home! Thank you so much Wil!
Amazing!! Thank you so much ☺️👨🏻🍳🙌🏻
so fantastic isn't it. My kids love it too
I am in love with this recipe! So simple but just soooooo good! Thank you Will!!
I love how straightforward your videos are. No nonsense.
Love the fact that you name the items as you go along! Makes it easy to follow.
Thank you ☺️
This was absolutely fabulous! Will be the base for all my noodle bowls. The most flavorful blend of ingredients. Mmmm! Thank you
You’re welcome 😇
Thank you for all the delicious recipes and especially for adding them in the description box below.
I got your book about a year ago and have tried a few, each one scrumptious 😁
Thank you for all the vegan food videos you make, they are so appreciated!
Wil, you are the ramen shamen! You have taken satay sauce to the next level. I had never found a great use for it but really enjoyed cooking this dish, not to mention devouring it afterwards. I threw in a few extra veg, just cos I like it that way and found it stood up to a little culinary, artistic licence - no problem! Thanks so much for this and all your super recipes.
I love the brevity of your instructions! YUM!!
Thank you so much ☺️
I love his instructions. So clear, no messing around. You know just what you're supposed to do
Very well done! Looks amazing!
Thank you for your concise and to the point instructions! I usually lose my patience with really lengthy intros as I just want to know how to actually make the dish
Thank you so much ☺️ it means a lot
Just made the chili oil from your other recipes along with tantan ramen! Going to make this soon! Love your recipes Will! Thank God you make so many vegan Asian recipes so simple,! Keep it up!💙💙💙💙
Thanks so much you’re too kind 😇
Another masterpiece!! I'm making this tomorrow!! Yum Yum 😋and thank you!!

Awesome Ingrid 🥳🍜
Finally someone who is straight to the point with the recipe! Thank you- this was the best ramen I have ever had!!
🥳🍜
Amazing and easy! Thanks! Pure and raw teaching. Enlightening
Just made this for a first time and it came of a treat! Thanks for the great recipe and the super clear instructions.
I've made this twice now and love it! Im not vegan so I used chicken stock that my mom had made previously and almond butter that I made in my vitamix.. But other than that just followed along. He seems like a great chef and teacher!
I seriously can't believe how good this was! And so easy. The flavors are just perfect. I do a lot of youtubers' recipes and sometimes they look amazing but end up disappointing (especially vegan ones) but this was SO delicious and just too easy, like you said. I was shocked at the result vs how much effort it took. Looking forward to trying your other recipes!
Thank you so much ☺️ it means a lot 🥳
Loved it! Very delicious. Thanks for the recipe.
Concise and to the point. Perfect!
Wil this was the best vegan ramen recipe I have found. Especially when combined with your chili oil recipe. Definitely going to be buying the cookbook. Thank you.
Thank you so much ☺️ I hope you’ll also try the spicy tan tan ramen it’s my fav 😬🍜
I made this today! It was an explosion of flavour so yummy. I've never commented on a cooking video before but this was so easy and fast but restaurant quality :)
Amazing!! I’m so thrilled ☺️ thank you for taking the time to let us know 👨🏻🍳🙌🏻🍜
Hey peanut butter with or without sugar ?
@@catchthis7563I'd say without! The savoury flavours stand out that way. Made it while visiting family and it turned out different (not in a good way) with sugared peanut butter.
I love this guy. Simple and direct instructions!
That looks really nice, thankyou for recipe and instructions on how to make it.
Made this twice now. The best, most satisfying ramen I’ve ever made! I used buckwheat soba noodles. Thank you Wil!!!! definitely will get your book
Amazing 👨🏻🍳🙌🏻🥳🍜🍜🍜 ramen party at your place
This is just delicious! I added portobello mushrooms and potatoes to mine. So good! Thanks for the flavorful recipe.
Amazing 👨🏻🍳🙌🏻
Love the way you do your recipes and talk as you prepare.... no wasted stories or words.... great job!!!
Very tasty and very quick! Thanks! Job well done!
Yum! I love how you poured the soup into the soy mixture! I will have to try that! Thanks for recipe :) I liked and subscribed.
Thank you and welcome 🙌🏻 glad you’re here 🥳
When I lived in China, I got wander the streets of Beijing in the summer and ended up trying out la jiang mien with hua shiang jiang (my poor pinyin for hot spicy noodles with peanut sauce) at many different small restaurants. This reminded me a lot of those dishes. I saw so much variation and so much pride in each restaurant’s personal variation.
Will try asap, love the minimalist delivery!
just made this - wonderful and warm on a winter day!
Wil, I have never attempted to make ramen in the comfort of my home. I watched your video yesterday and decided to try and make it for my coworkers tonight. We all have been working 6 days of overtime during CO-VID this work cycle and every day someone brought in pizza. I am not going to have another pizza for months man.
Needless to say everyone absolutely loved this recipe, and I will be purchasing your book tonight.
I have seen and subscribed to many cooking channels on UA-cam but I found yours yesterday and without a doubt it is my absolute favorite.
Keep up the good work your biggest fan and apprentice,
- Stefan
Hiya Stefan 🙌🏻 inadmire your sharing that 🙏🏻 thank you so much and I’m so glad you’re here 🥳 thank you so much for your order! Next order going out Monday 🎉🎉🎉🍜🍜🍜

Thank you so much ☺️ and welcome 🥳
Me too!
Simplemente MARAVILLOSO, una fiesta de sabor! Gracias por tus videos.
Love your recipes. So easy to follow
Came across the channel first time this morning, just finished my first bowl now, amazing recipe 😋. At first I was a bit skeptical of the ginger as I dont like its fragrance but turned out perfectly, just missing the chili oil. Will definitely try the other recipes, please release more!
Amazing 👨🏻🍳🙌🏻🍜
I love Peanut butter .... another yummie dish for this week’s stay at home meal 😷😷😷
navdhav 👨🏻🍳🙌🏻🎥🔪❤️
Your videos are really good. It's direct and to the point.
It never fails to amaze me how you have made cooking so simple and easy. Thank you, Chef.
I just tried this today and it was absolute delicious! I skipped the tofu and the peanuts because I didn't have them. I also didn't have to same mushrooms so I just used baby bellas. For the broth, I just used the water that I boiled veggies with from yesterday. I also made homemade fresh ramen noodles from your video. It came out so amazing, I honest expect the soup to have so much complexity and flavor! It's honestly one of the best ramen I've had!
So awesome to hear 🥳🍜🍜🍜
This is the easiest ramen recipe I've seen that actually seems like it would have flavor.
🍜🍜🍜
These are all easy to find ingredients! I'm making this as soon as possible, thank you so much for this!!
🥳🍜
Had for dinner today.....such a simple but awesome recipe. Thoroughly enjoyed it!
Made this. Delicious 😋. I had to use white wine vinegar instead but it still added body to the dish and came out great 👍🏽. Thank you!
Very nice 🥳🍜
Noodles and peanut butter, my faves! 😋🌱🤘
Nomad1c_vegan so versatile right 👨🏻🍳🙌🏻
Just made this dish and it was incredible! This is quickly becoming my new favorite cooking channel. Great work Wil!
Thank you for Great recipes and simple, clear explanation without unnecessary talking
Made this this evening: I had to change a couple of things (to suit what i had in my larder). Not enough soy sauce so i used half soy sauce half aminos; i added veg (broccoli, pepper, carrot); chestnut mushrooms, and spongy/fluffy tofu from the freezer! anyway, sauce and broth delectable, bf comment? incredibly tasty! fantastically delicious! Thanks so much: your basic method is super easy to follow and fool-proof
Amazing!! Very clever add on’s 🥳
Hey I just made this yesterday and it is SO TASTY! Everyone should try it! The tofu kind of melts into the broth and makes it taste richer :)
So awesome to hear 🥳🙌🏻
I literally live for your recipes, all delicious and amazing thank you so much for sharing 💚🌱
Oh wow, this was so easy and so delicious! Thank you!
Hats off Wil! This is one delicious dish!! As always, thank you for the delicious vegan dishes 🙏
Thank you so much Anna 👨🏻🍳🙌🏻
@@YEUNGMANCOOKING Btw, went on your website to order your cookbook and wasn't able to. Is there a link that I missed?

@@YEUNGMANCOOKING indeed. I clicked on the 2nd option which is non signed cookbook and nothing happened. Kept clicling on the book, the note the arrow. Not a thong happened. I'll try again tomorrow and will let you know.
Thank you for letting me know Anna! I double checked and tried the buy button and it should work ☺️ if you’re on mobile, you’re right I had to tap the buy now button a little harder (I know sounds weird lol...) but it did work 😅 I hope that helps! Made this for family and it was so delicious, despite being so simple. :)
Yasss 🍜🥳
Very efficient and without too much talking ! So good !
Easy, delicious recipes and professional presentation...love these videos and recipes.
To be honest I was a bit skeptical that such a simple recipe would turn out the way it did. I was completely blown away by the result and I will cook this on a regular basis going forward. Thank you very much :).
🥳
I made this for dinner tonight- let’s just say that I will probably make it for tomorrow night too!
😅 all good 🥳
Wil Yeung - Cook With Confidence Where can I find that beautiful blue Ramen bowl you featured in this recipe?
Love how the recipe uses ingredients that can be found in most households and pretty much any grocery store. What do you use for your broth? Would love to see an episode on a good hearty veggie broth.
Thank you so much ☺️ hmm what about this episode ua-cam.com/video/zdk0bF20Bj8/v-deo.html
Looks amazing. And easy enough to modify to be gluten free for me as well. I know rice noodles aren't the same as Ramen noodles, but they are probably the closest I will get.
There’s a brand called lotus foods that make gf ramen noodles ☺️
I made this tonight. It was amazing! Thank you sooo much.
Wow so amazing !!!
All recipes are easy and so creative!
I can’t wait to try it all!!!
Thank you so much ❤
👌🏻👌🏻👌🏻
Just made this with edamame instead of tofu. 10/10 recommend. thanks for the recipe!
Nice 🥳
Delicious!!!! I used a chicken broth my mother had that was going to get wasted (I promise the next one will be truly vegan hahaha) but that peanut butter touch was... Wow!!!
Nice!! All good 👨🏻🍳🙌🏻 thrilled you loved the recipe 🍜
Your narration is the best. It’s so unique and I love the simplicity. So glad I found your channel.
This looks absolutely delicious and super easy! Will definitely give it a try, thanks!
Vegetarian upgrade: egg
Thanks duder I will cook this everyday second day now as an alternative to my vegan tantanmen
Once I got past the slightly over long intro, this video was nigh on perfect. Straight into the cooking with zero waffling and clear instructions, plus easy to access ingredients. I'm looking to cook more vegetarian meals and this is a great addition to my list of recipes. Thank you.
Thank you so much ☺️ it means a lot
His intro is exactly 25 seconds.
Omg I can’t wait to try this thank you so much!
Thanks so much Yeung! I loved it. I ordered one of your cook books but now I'll have to order the Ramen cook book too. Thanks for helping me eat healthier and for keeping it simple.
Cooked it just now, and it smells so good my cat is meowing at me to share 😂

The Visionary Assassin 👨🏻🍳🙌🏻❤️🎥🔪
Love the fact that you cook from fresh produce and don’t use any pretend ingredients (fake meat). Your recipes make vegan eating achievable for carnivores like me - I wouldn’t even know they were vegan.
Absolutely 🙌🏻 I try to keep it simple and keep it inclusive 👨🏻🍳🍜🎥🔪 thanks for tuning in!
Actually he substitutes meat with fat. But ok.
Let me help you:
The great thing about vegan "meat" is that it is just made out of vegetables. It's created to resemble the flavors and looks of non-vegan meat, but it is as close to vegetables as you can literally get, because it is made out of vegetables. So don't be fooled and let the look of vegan "meat" (made from vegetables) scare you. The look of real meat, which is made out of poor slaughtered animals, is what you should be scared of, to the Core. 🙏🏼
@@neginf.7639 In the stores here you can find highly processed and spiced "vegan meat" - for 3-5x the price of meat containing fat, sugar, 10 artifical aromas and it comes in a plastic box. The Tofu you can buy here is ""extreme firm" with the consistency of feta and the taste of paper - also in a plastic box (actually in 2 plastic boxes). The next asia store is a drive of 2x40km. I buy chicken by the local butcher store in business since 1822 wrapped in paper. Not from a soya-mono-farm in central asia processed by nestle.
@Willow Hernandez yes, every meat - beside white fish - has a distinct taste. Many people eating heavily processed food for their entire life can´t taste that anymore, but those can´t taste fruits and vegetables. Stop eating garbage spiced up with flavour enhancers and you have the chance that some of your senses come back. I am here for a ramen dish containing peanuts. Why are you here? Looks like you have a very poor and boring live.
Love this gonna try it tonight!!!! Thank you!
Made this yesterday, was very yummy! Highly recommend!
While I'm not vegan, this satay ramen looks seriously delicious. Thank you. I'm going to make it tomorrow night and the chili oil. Do you make a spicy tantanmen ramen?
All good!! I do!! ua-cam.com/video/VLfrRZoqzUg/v-deo.html
Dang never thought someone would combine satay and ramen together- the level of fusion food is just beyond my expectation lol
Hope you’ll love the recipe 🍜🍜🍜
M so illiterate that I don’t know the difference !!! I thought that is a thing
Made this for lunch today: quick, wholesome, satisfying, and so delicious. Thank you!
You’ve won me over. I am a fan. Love your style, love your videos, love your food.
He’s like an Asian Gordon Ramsay! Same mannerisms and style!
😅😅😅 big fan not gonna lie
When recipes like this or salad dressings or dipping sauces say to use "peanut butter" how do I know if it is a natural brand, the kraft brand, salted or unsalted peanut butter???
Great question! I always buy a natural peanut butter that is smooth and only has peanuts in the ingredient list ☺️
Peanut butter means peanut butter, i.e. ingredients list should only have peanuts.
