I love your cooking. Please consider sometimes giving advice on replacements for those who do not handle alliums well. Oh, and thank you for the ebook ❤
Hello, I love your recipes but struggle with making them for 3 to 5 persons at a time. Could you sometimes give advice for larger portions. Thanks and go on, greetings from Germany. :D
I love sesame noodles so much😋. But I cannot make them to save my life. I used to buy I'm at whole food but they stop selling them. Now I do not know what I am going to do. 🤷🏼♀️😔☺️ Help me out give me a easy recipe.
as an asian home cook, it still always amazes me how much variety we get out of the same basic building blocks. almost everything i cook has garlic, ginger, chili, soy sauce, and sesame oil, but the end products are so different and delicious in their own ways.
I'm an american cook and that's one thing I love about asian cooking. The layered flavors can be tweaked slightly to create a whole variety of dishes. My friends/roommates always ask how i know how to create these elaborate sauces and dishes. I tell them it's really just the same basic things used slightly differently, it's about knowing what each ingredient can do.
This is genuinely the only cooking channel where, with every new video you post, I think, "I gotta try this one!" You present everything in such a pleasant, straightforward and easy to follow way that I never feel overwhelmed. It also helps that you always use more or less similar ingredients, so I don't feel like I have to buy a whole lot of new stuff to try out something new - which is great for someone who loves Asian cuisine but doesn't have easy access to a specialty food store. Many of your recipes have become a staple in my meal plan (I make your vegan bulgogi at least once a week, and just can't get enough). So kudos and I look forward to trying this out tomorrow!
if you can't find plant-based oyster sauce, oyster mushrooms are a good alternative that are generally pretty easy to find. they give a similar flavor, just not as strong
I could just watch you cook all day, Mr. Yeung, and I actually do! When I'm working, I play your past videos on a loop and they are so calming and comforting! It's the same with the UA-camr Nami from Japan. My family laughs at me: "How can you watch videos of people cooking and cleaning?" My answer: "How can I not?" I look forward to new videos. You're one of the few UA-camrs who offers easy yet delicious vegan options.
I have used many of your recipes and they generally work well but I usually increase the ingredients in the sauces as I think you pour more than the measurements you specify. Regardless, this is terrific. Thank you
I have a new love for approaching cooking now - simplicity & precision is beautiful and delicious - I am so happy I found your channel, and your vegan approach 💚 thanks again
I can’t wait for your cookery books to be available in Europe. All of the recipes I’ve watched are especially suitable for college students who can have a quick, nutritious, elegant meal ready in a short time. I’ve a plan to make your chilli sauce and the mayonnaise tomorrow. Thank you for sharing your love of good food and cooking with the world. Best wishes from Ireland.

Sad I’m just finding your channel! but so excited as I cook my fiancé many vegan versions of his favorite childhood dishes from back home in China, for the past several years. You have so many wonderful things for me to try making for him that I feel very inspired and motivated again 🥰 thanks for making such awesome videos.:)
What I love (besides your delicious, well-explained recipes) in no particular order: 1. When you wipe the dish before serving (it’s a beautiful ritual) 2. The fact that your pots and pans don’t look pristine, as they do on other cooking shows. They look more like mine. 3. How you taste the food with a big mouthful and such a joyous expression 4. The bowls you use (gotta get me some!) 5. Your voice 6. The music 7. Your wonderful spiky hair. How do you DO that? Avocado oil, maybe? 8. Your chopping skills 9. Learning about new products 10. The quality of the videos A BIG thanks for all of the above.
First time trying one of your recipes and we all loved it. Used mange tout instead of broccoli to keep son happier. Smoked tofu is a new thing for us and was amazing, as is the whole recipe.
What a soothing voice you have! I came for the recipe but I stayed for the calming effect of this voice that is so relaxing especially the voice over bits ❤
@@gerriejennings2148 No don't do that! He will appreciate your comment. You know we are all human and its great when we can see the qualities in others and just encourage one another. I am glad you replied to my post. 💛
I LOOOOOVE your videos! You are genuinely the only chef that I watch that actually makes my mouth water with anything you cook. I love that you get right to the recipe and everything is so easy and comes out so delicious! Thank you so much for taking your time to delight all of us!🤍🤍🤍🤍 Plus, your voice is so soothing to listen to! 😉😊
I've just discovered your channel and this was the first recipe I've tried. Totally delicious! And finally I have a dish with broccoli that I like. Thank you!
I discovered your channel just 2 weeks ago or so and I've been obsessed with your recipes since! I have to say I have never been more excited to see that a cooking channel has posted a new video haha!
I made this dish this evening. It was very good. I made it with mushrooms since I’m not a fan of tofu. Thanks for an easy and great tasting recipe for dinner!
I purchased a "gourmet mixture" from Wegmans. It included shitake, bella and oyster and one or two others. I think I would stick with baby bellas and you would be fine. Enjoy your meal@@dawnbw1971 !
Hello Wil, I made this recipe twice this week. The 1st time for my niece who was cutting gluten out of her diet and I only had coco amino sauce that was gluten free. The dish came out sweet, even though I left sugar out of the recipe. The 2nd time I used all ingredients, including sesame seeds and chili oil. It is awesome, truly a plate licking recipe. I find that when I eat a vegetarian or vegan recipe, there is little to no food waste. That’s a plus.
I'm new to your channel--this recipe caught my eye because it can be tricky to get just right. Love your presentation style, and your quiet gentle voice is a pleasure to listen to. For those of us who are experienced cooks, you provide just the right amount of directions and having given some cooking classes myself, I feel that beginner cooks would also find your instructions easy to follow. Thank you!

Thank you so much Chef Yeung, beautiful recipe and compatible with Shirataki Noodles. My life has changed because of Arthritis, I’m very carb conscious because the wrong foods now will give me a locked knee which is desperately painful. I can work with this and use it as a side for a Asian Salmon. God bless you, I love the way you cook and I always learn a lot. Jen
A very soothing cooking video. Your calm voice the music really go well with the contemplative cooking. It makes you feel that you don't have to rush and to enjoy the process. I subscribed immediately
I just made this and finished eating a few minutes ago. Despite my errors, it was still so good! My veggies this first time: red, green and yellow bell peppers and brocolli. I didn't have dark soy sauce, so I replaced it with more Nama Shoyu. Mistake #1 - Opting to coat the tofu in corn starch and pan searing it for crispy tofu. The idea came from another vegan UA-camr from a recipe I'd originally planned to make. But then I watched your video and wanted your sauce instead! Still, I thought I'd incorporate her crispy tofu element. It didn't work at all, LOL. Next time I'll follow your recipe 100%. Mistake #2 - I didn't pay attention to the amount of vermicelli noodles to use, and I cooked twice as much. I removed some from the pan, but still far too many noodles for the recipe, so mine wasn't as saucy and earthy looking as yours. But, a testament to the amazing flavor of your sauce, it was still very delicious! I can only imagine how saucy- good it'll be next time I make this. :-) This is the 4th recipe of yours I've prepared - all of them just beautiful. And there are several more that I look forward to cooking. Thank you!
5:32 - I thought this was going to be a Yeung Man recipe without chili oil but you sneaked it in at the end. I love the broccoli tofu noodle combination and the fact that this is an easy dish to prepare makes this a winner, winner, broccoli tofu noodle dinner.

Loads of recipes on youtube look great and like something I'd like to try - but this one is the first that really _urges_ me to actually do it. It looks absolutely amazing.
Really palatable one. Broccoli is one of my fave. Thanks a lot Mr chef for always sharing the best and toothsome recipe of yours. More power and God bless always. Happy cooking.
I don't think a single recipe from you has ever failed me, everything is absolutely delicious and so simple! Thank you for all the effort you put into these videos! ❤ I do have a question; as someone with very limited space in the kitchen (and cooking for one), would it be possible to mention some substitutions in your recipes? Like can we skip the dark soy sauce and add more regular soy sauce? Can we use regular oyster sauce instead of the plant based one? I know the final result might not be quite as good, but it's a lot more accessible to some ❤
Lay Ho Ma! Stunning recepy and presentation, such a joy and inspiration watching your videos as always. I can't wait to get your books over the UK, and I can't wait for the Spanish version! Another wonderful, simple and flavourful recipe. I love sharing your recipes with friends who love Asian food. Congratulations on the arrival of your beautiful ramen noodle bowls. They are elegant, balanced and easy to cradle in one's hands. Excellent design and rich colour. 👏👏👏
Not a big fan of tofu, but I’d love to load this up with sliced red bell peppers, chopped carrots, and chopped cauliflower. Either way so many ways to make this dish amazing! Great soothing video to watch❤
Lay ho ma, Wil! Thank you for that simple, delicious-looking recipe. I love tofu and broccoli. I love how you explained each of the the ingredients in the sauce! I'm wondering if you could do a spicy HAKKA noodle recipe. I've only bought Hakka noodles from restaurants, but I'd love to make my own.
Another superb recipe by @yeungmancooking. I made this with buckwheat soba noodles, paneer and mushrooms and it was out of this world! I have tried many of his recipes before and they have all been scrumptious. Thank you for yet another gem.
Absolute Yum!! I had everything in my larder but Oyster sauce so I substituted some miso paste mixed with a tiny bit of water. Tofu and I don't get along very well so I used shitake mushrooms. It came out fantastic! Thankyou for a great recipe!
I’m limited in what I can eat (still on no-chew foods for another few weeks), and what I have in my fridge (not much). I made something kind of similar to this dish, but paired way down. In a frying pan, I cooked one scrambled egg, and broke into small pieces. I had leftover tiny pasta (mini shells for soups), a package of smoked tofu of which I diced some, and soy sauce. It was delicious, quick, and easy to eat.

A great and quick recipe. I will try it with okra. I still have them at home.
Thank you for sharing your wunderful recipes! 🤗
Yummmm! Okra is the bomb 👌🏻
Not a big fan of tofu, but I’d love to load this up with sliced red bell peppers, chopped carrots, and chopped cauliflower. Either way so many ways to make this dish amazing! Great soothing video to watch❤
My first recipe from your channel! Awesome! Thank you!
Your voice is so soothing. I’m going to make this recipe. I only have regular tofu. Any suggestions on what else to add to the plain tofu? Thank you 😊
Wonderful...............you share and teach.....all the BEST to you always.
Made this yesterday for supper. We all loved it and will definitely make it again.
Great to hear! 🙌🏻🥳
Wow! That looks amazing. Everything you prepare looks fantastic. Thank you.
Hope you enjoy 🙌🏻
Another banger! Absolutely loved this dish, will definitely be adding it to my regular rotation.
So good! 🙌🏻
My pleasure 😊 and will have to keep that in mind for future episodes 👌🏻
Thank you, Wil. You're THE BEST!! 🌹❤🙏
Can you share the name of the brand of oyster sauce you’re using? Thanks for sharing. Happy healthy eating.🥗🥒😋🙏🏽
Another superb recipe by @yeungmancooking. I made this with buckwheat soba noodles, paneer and mushrooms and it was out of this world! I have tried many of his recipes before and they have all been scrumptious. Thank you for yet another gem.
Look forward to making this! Love learning about adding the potato starch!
yep i got excited when he mentioned potato starch as i get confused about which thickener and how to use in recipes.
The hack for chopping broccoli is amazing!
😎👌🏻
Where do you get plant based oyster sauce?? What brand? Can you share link?
🙏💫Thank you for your fantastic recipes, excellent, charming and clear teaching style, and lovely videos! Wishing you all the Best!
Thank you very much for sharing this recipe. My daughter really likes it.
My pleasure 😊 Keep well
Absolute Yum!! I had everything in my larder but Oyster sauce so I substituted some miso paste mixed with a tiny bit of water. Tofu and I don't get along very well so I used shitake mushrooms. It came out fantastic! Thankyou for a great recipe!
You are the man. Thank for all of your cooking.
Made this tonight. Very, very good and will definitely be making this again.
🙌🏻🙌🏻🙌🏻
Thank you for this delicious recipe. It’s making my mouth watering! Stay blessed.
My pleasure 😊 and happy cooking
Very delicious, I tried it, and was so good. smoked tofu gives it special taste Thanks
I needed a bib just looking at this heaven in a bowl. Thank you !
🤭
I just ordered your books ! Can't wait to do cooking! Thank you
