In know representation for black people was A big deal for this film, but as av woman who had battled with and felt ashamed of my hair loss for 20 fears, seeing powerful, beautiful bald women reallytouched me
Eva! I'm sure you are nothing but beautiful and a lovely human being! ♥ You got this.
It's great you feel seen in this movie!
🥺🥺🥺🥺
@@javencummins1426 I know many women did
😩🥺💜
He was fighting cancer for so long while shooting these movies and we didn't even know. RIP a true legend
RIP to the legend himself Chadwick Boseman
Chadwick was the goat
“It hard being a fake marvel fan” 😭😂😂😂😂 it’s really is billy 😩😂 like I love the movies I’ve seen and I know a lot of characters/backstory but the way the marvel fandoms rides…it ain’t enough 😂😂😂
Damn right it ain't lol
What do you mean the marvel fandom rides??
@@moonlightbae_ the way they ride, as in they're all crazy lol
@@BoxOKittens and that’s just the MCU. When u get to watching the anime/cartoon versions you have even more crazy. Especially if characters from different teams overlap
SAME
I didn't know they changed the opening credits for him!!! It's beautiful, RIP Chadwick Boseman, only love and respect. 💜🖤
They changed it right after they found out he passed, and they're keeping it especially for him.
I didn't either! I've seen the movie on Disney+, but I haven't seen the movie since he died.
The representation of women in this was fucking fantastic 😭😭👏🏾
RIP Chadwick. He was an incredible actor, not just in the MCU but in the biopics he was in playing the likes of Jackie Robinson and James Brown. #bingers if you haven't seen it I strongly suggest Get on Up to watch. Chadwick deserved an Oscar for getting James Brown's mannerisms and pattern of speaking down pat. I could watch Get on Up a million times and never be bored, I love Black Panther but Get on Up is my favorite Chadwick Boseman movie.
Get on Up is incredible. It's one of those movies where you forget that you're watching an actor playing a role.
Ma Rainey’s Black Bottom is another one of his Oscar worthy performances
Lexy I agree with you he was a great actor rest in peace Chadwick
Yes! Loved that movie
My one lead-up to seeing this movie (didn't even see Civil War before I saw this) was seeing him play a young Thurgood Marshall in...well, Marshall. Darn good film in its own right, too.
The "WHAT ARE THOOOOSE" line was a long dead meme when this movie came out 😂
Still a cringe line
I still love how they took the extra route of emphasizing the protagonist of T'challa as surrounding himself exclusively with strong women as his major support system and Killmonger as the antagonist almost exclusively spend his time fighting, using, and killing women. I highly doubt is wasn't done purposefully to further.
Also, Killmonger didn't just hurt, use and kill women, but he surrounded himself with W'kabi's MEN of the border tribe. *And, of course, the women won.* 🙌🏾🙌🏾🙌🏾
I used the museum scene as part of my dissertation, that I submitted back in August, to talk about colonialism in cultural heritage and artefact preservation and the lack of Black voices in academia and cultural heritage. I hurt so many white people feelings with that dissertation, thinking the entire time "truth hurts, don't it, colonisers."
Yeah it gets worse when they eyed a black man in a black history museum 🤦♂️
The museum scene also had profiling stuff like how white folk follow black folk and make sure nothing happens. Didn't realize it for a while. Sure lady was racist either way
@@HenshinHeroesMedia the scene was mainly to show how white folks think they have the upper hand and therefore the moral ground to tell stories belonging to non white cultures and peoples, whitewashing the stories that they tell you the public, and not expecting anyone to know better and call them out on it. It's to show that the colonisers thought they knew better and were the best equipped to handle such narratives, when in fact they are not. I also used the "bury me in the ocean with my ancestors..." quote. I put it at the bottom of my cover letter as a statement to whomever was about to read and mark my paper that I'm about to call them all out on their bullshit using their own academic systems. I can't wait to get my paper back lol
@@joscar062 I was in this actual museum; it's the High Museum in Atlanta, GA. I've walked through that exact exhibit so seeing it on screen was wild lol
I am very VERY interested in reading this paper.
RIP Chadwick Boseman. Looking at him here you really wouldn't have thought that he was sick.....
#BINGERS THE PRINCE OF EGYPT or ANASTASIA! 💕 Both amazing movies with Star studded casts & award winning music! ❤️😍
Yass fr!
Pleeeeeaase to both!
Yes I loved Anastasia!
The Prince of Egypt is a must.
I’ve been waiting for this one! Wakanda Forever!! RIP Chadwick Boseman, forever our King T’Challa. You were a true hero on and offscreen. The fact he filmed Black Panther and other films while battling colon cancer showed how dedicated he was. When the sequel comes out next year, it’ll be sad, but I know they’re gonna make him proud❤️
I'm just glad they're not recasting T'Challa. It's too soon to just recast him, event hough it means that T'Challa will probably die offscreen. I guess it's something to know that he managed to do those recordings for 'What if....?'
@@agenttheater5 Now that the Multiverse is open, they can grab a T'Challa from another place; maybe from 823. I think the Black Panther in #WakandaForever will be Nakia. But then, if they DO bring T'Challa from 823, I hope it's *Corey Hawkins.* Look him up. He would be excellent as our new King of Wakanda.
Michael B Jordan, winning and breaking audiences hearts (for a variety of reasons) since 2002.
He is so talented and in this film, he was amazing. He was the perfect choice to play Killmonger.
we were not ready to be without you either, Chadwick. Yibambe.
We didn’t deserve Chadwick. He was such a talented and compassionate dude.
He was the person we needed. I cannot begin to say how much seeing kids and teenagers and adults cheer for a hero on the screen who look like them..how much joy I felt.
Also as a huge LOTR fan I gotta say shoutout to the "tolkien white guys" 🤣 knowing Andy Serkis and Martin Freeman are good buddies makes their scenes together all the more enjoyable.
“He looks like a live action garden gnome” oh my god 😂
😩😩🤣🤣🤣🤣
The after credit scene of Bucky coming out of his hut looking at peace, follows the scene after Ayo took him to the other side of the village and tested him to see that the deprogramming that Shuri did, worked on him.
In the Falcon and Winter Soldier show, they revealed the scene of it working and Ayo told him he was finally free. That's when Bucky started crying with relief.
R.I.P. to the G.O.A.Ts Chadwick and Stan. I'm so glad Stan lived long enough to see this movie made.
I remember him talking about when and why he created Black Panther. He and Jack created a whole Hero universe of metaphors about the horrible state of the world, and inspired several generations to join Marvel comics to carry on that legacy.
Here were are, in the 21st century still getting taught.
It's just kind of scary how some of it really does reflect the times we are living in.
A white supremacist establishment (Hydra) that wormed itself into the government to undermine the progress and hardwork done to fix the issues of wrongful sins from the past, even though the "good" government is shady themselves.
Sound familiar?
Btw...there is a trailer video #BINGERS MARVEL CELEBRATES THE MOVIES. It gets you so hyped. It shows where we've been in the MCU and where to next. I get goosebumps when I watch it. Please do a reaction to it.
From what press release news came out about the next BP movie, they will not be replacing Chad, but making the movie about Wakanda in general. Coogler was still writing the script for it when that was announced. Idk if he finished it, but a date has been placed on its release, so...I'm sure he's done and ready for production to begin.
Word of God:
-Director Coogler confirmed that Killmonger's mother died in prison and the plan that N'Jobu and Zuri talk about at the start of the movie is a plan to break her out.
-Coogler explained that Donald Glover is to blame for Shuri's "WHAT ARE THOOOOSE?!" line, as Glover was given the script to critique.
-Jordan claims that Killmonger's "battle vest" wasn't an intentional Vegeta reference, but he and Coogler are both anime fans, which would explain where the image came from.
Ah, so thats where the "I like anime" in What If is a reference to
Seeing this scene without knowing the meme, it really sounded like something Shuri would say. If she did not invent it or something did go with her particular style, she would immediately throw shade at it.
Wakanda Forever!!!
Definitely looking forward to watching this commentary reaction.
Rest in Peace to the late great Chadwick Boseman! 💜🖤
This is such a fantastic movie! Another one of my top favorite MCU films. Fantastic performances by all of the actors & actresses. And this movie has another one of my favorite cameos from the late great Stan Lee.
The "As you can see. I am not dead." quote at the end hits so much differently now. 😭
I very highly recommend the 2013 movie "42". #Bingers
Yes! That line breaks me every time now 😔
Rest in peace, Chadwick. A guy from lil ol South Carolina that made it big, man. Just a city away from me. I still can’t believe he’s gone. Such a crazy talented, brave and dedicated man. 💜
Im not even into muscles but Billy's arms doing the Wakanda Forever stance does something to ya girl 🤤🤪🤣
👀👀👀
Ayoooo? 🤨
Where's the lie lol his smile and his arms are like 👀👀👀
The way I was just about to comment about his arms in this video 😩😂
He fine 😂
Loved this. Seeing Chadwick in all of his movies continues to painful. He played so many iconic Black figures. Makes me remember how theaters were being bought out and tickets sold so Black residents could see the movie. People showing up dressed to kill. Truly a cultural event (and besides endgame I would say the biggest in the MCU)
“Wakanda forever?…… she dead forever” I HOLLERED
Omg I was so scared if billy had not watched the black panther movie already, I would have been so upset. I was going to rewatch it soon but now I don’t have to cause ill just watch it with billy. 😇
SAME
Chadwick Boseman was a great actor and i was sad to hear of his passing. I wish him well wherever he is…
So we can all agree that both Black Panther, Endgame, and Into the Spider-Verse are the greatest Marvel movies ever made.
🤝 agreed , but personally add infinity war to the list and I’m happy
Man, two late-Marvel legends in one damn movie: Chadwick Boseman aka Black Panther and Stan Lee aka the Marvel Legend. RIP to them both. 🖤🤴🏿🙅🏿♂️🙅🏿♂️
Indeed Chadwick Boseman did do voice work for the marvel show "what if" so if you want to hear his great voice there is where you can. Great actors live on in their work. He will be missed.
Billy : hilarious
Billy’s face :😐😐😐
Rip Chadwick! Absolutely love this movie! Shout out to my boy Winston Duke as M'baku from Trinidad and Tobago 😁🇹🇹 he made us so proud! Love the content as usual Billy. I'll wait patiently for Infinity war abd Endgame but in the meantime bring on the romcoms 💃🏾
#bingers love and basketball and somethingnew
I qant Nakia to be the new black panther. She can continue to protect her people and honor her love for T'Challa at the same time. Ad that keep Shuri in the tech lab advancing Wakanda.
I am ACTUALLY BREATHLESS with excitement. I love the idea of my Fav jamming to my homeland, SA music :D
i still can't believe he's gone
Us South African are happy to our Xhosa language represented 👑👏🏽 .
R.I.P to the king himself Chadwick Boseman 💜
For Halloween movies I’m suggesting Nightmare Before Christmas, Corpse Bride, & Coraline. 💃🏽
#bingers
Such a good film♡ RIP Chadwick. Everything that man says is even more powerful with hindsight. Devastating loss.
Thank you for this. Even though I’m crying again. 😢😭😢😭
18:47 “Wakanda Forever, she dead forever” 😂😂 my goodness Billy
Billy has such a good vibe
Also, Shout out to all South Africans :D Hope you are all doing, looking and smelling good. Lmao
Thank u. Not all of us though
Chadwick was outstanding. The scene in Captain America: Civil War, where he has that final conversation with Zemo always comes to mind as one of the character's best moments and the entire movie Black Panther is amazing - the idea of anyone else playing the part is unimaginable but I know eventually, someone will and they have some serious shoes to fill. R.I.P, Chadwick. His life was far too short but he is a legend.
Wakanda Forever!
I have to say that Michael B. Jordan's performance as Killmonger was off the charts. The conversation he has with his father shows in so many ways, he was still that little boy who walked into that apartment to his worst nightmare. The writers and Jordan did an amazing job creating this 'bad guy' that - while we may have disagreed with his methods - we could understand his anger, could understand his motivations and even see how he reached the point where he could do the things he did. A story is always so much more compelling when the villain isn't just some dude out there being evil because he can; Killmonger had depth, a backstory, a purpose, and he was played brilliantly from start to finish.
And Danai Gurira as Okoye...just damn. BAD ASS! She was everything Brie Larson failed to be as Captain Marvel. They spent so much time telling us we should like Captain Marvel because she was a strong female character that they didn't take the time to show us. But Okoye? The scene with her facing off with the man she loves on different sides of the battle and he ask, would you kill me my love and her, "For Wakanda...without question" was so powerful because yes, she loved him, but she loved her country more. Killing him might have broken her heart but she was ready to do it and he knew she was serious.
Yeah, it case it's not obvious, I loved this movie.
someone else should get that chance
Thank you, Billy, for the lovely reaction, keep doing what you're doing, and eventually you will reach one million subscribers I love you really keep doing what you doing. And may you have all the success
Not gonna lie: I came here because of a thumbnail for an MCU film, and I hit all of those first. But I subbed and stayed because I like the channel in general, and have been watching quite a few of the other videos as well. This is a fun channel. Keep it up, Billy.
"He looks like a live action Garden Gnome" lol that is Gollum from Lord of the Rings so close
Why did I cry like a damn baby
While Chadwick Boseman was amazing, for me Danai Gurira stole every scene she was in. Just an absolute badass.
“Wakanda forever” *dies*
You: “she’s died forever”
Me: billy you didn’t- 😂😂😂
I'm living for that t-shirt!
The “Vibranium” part..😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂 Billy you are too funny!!! I am weak!!!
Rest In Power Chadwick Boseman 🖤 He was really amazing, a true hero.
It’s funny that you say that Andy looks like a gnome cuz he voices Gollum from Lord of the Rings 🤣
Billy would you consider reacting to maze runner I think you would love it. Love your reactions btw top fav❤️
Yes I will do them. Just not sure when honestly. But thank you ❤️💗❤️
@@BillyBinges ok love from the uk💕💕
Salute to Chadwick!
When Killmonger dropped the absolute truth bomb to the museum curator I wanted to scream in the theater! TELL HER!
It broke my heart when I realised that the kid asking for a story at the beginning of the movie is little Eric in Oakland asking his dad about Wakanda.
Billy: That ship would cost like a billion dollars
So uh... T'Challa/Black Panther is actually the richest superhero (and possibly fictional character, depending on who is doing the math) in history. Estimates of his networth range anywhere from $500 billion to $100 trillion. With a T. Billion dollar spaceship is easily within the budget lol. Billion dollar spaceship FLEET is still in the budget.
Also massive shout out to John Kani who plays King T'Chaka, T'Challa's father. The man has had an AMAZING life and career you should totally look up. He's from South Africa and is the reason the language used for Wakanda is X'hosa, his native tongue. He taught it to Chadwick for Civil War. He helped fight to end apartheid in South Africa, and lost his eye after he was beaten by South African police for writing and performing in a Broadway production that was critical of apartheid.
This movie came out a lil more than a month after my father passed away. The scene where T'challa got to see his dad again...that broke me. I pretty much ran out of the theater crying my eyes out. It was around 30mins before I calmed down enough to go back in the theater.
I love this movie...I think of my dad every time I watch it or watch a reaction to it!
Thank you!
Praying for you ❤️ sorry for your loss
@@babiirae729 thank you!
I never like this movie much when I first saw it. I was more into just marvel action being action and funny. Now that I watch WanadaVision, Shang-Chi, the stuff with the deeper story line, I am starting to appreciate how deep the story are. ( Not that the other movie weren't deep, I was just too young/not interested in them. ) Watching you watch this movie again made me realize how amazing this movie is. The story was so good and deep and I wish I appreciated it way more when I first saw it.
I'm sensing some Michael B. Jordan hate there at the beginning, Billy. 🤣
It’s no hate. Ya just took it personal cause you filled with lust 😂

I was never a marvel fan (besides like OG spiderman) but this was the first newer marvel movie I was actually excited for. The impact it had on kids esp, seeing someone that looks like them as a superhero 😭😭😭 the cast is so perfect & well acted.
