I’m a woman. And I really love this movie. I really remember when me and my husband got married. I’d ask him what he was thinking and he’d always answer with something like “fixing the lawnmower”, “ about a problem at work”. I didn’t believe him. It took me 3 years to really recognize and believe he really is just thinking random daily stuff. I started believing him when he was talking in his sleep, and it was the same kind of random, daily stuff as his thoughts. It took me years to recognize the “simple- ness” of men. I became completely blunt in what I felt and what I wanted, and everything improved x10. Ladies, men don’t get hints. He’s not thinking that deeply and emotionally like we are (in general, of course there’s exceptions). Say what you mean, and mean what you say and let him you know you want the same level of bluntness. Communication and understanding keep your relationship strong. It works. We’ve been married nearly 20 years and completely in love.

True Lies, Mr And Mrs. Smith, Knight And Day, and Killers all entertained me. I'm glad that I have access to all of them. Another movie whose plot is dissimilar but also combines action, humor, and romance, is the underappreciated "Out Of Sight," with George Clooney, Jennifer Lopez, Ving Rhames, Don Cheadle, Isaiah Washington, Michael Keaton, and Sam Jackson.

I've always loved this movie and one day I decided to have my boyfriend watch it with me. He thought it was going to be a chick flick type of romantic comedy and he wasn't going to have any interest in it, but I'd say at this point he's willingly put it on more times than I have since watching it that first time lol

I think what we forget is nature vs. nurture. Men are raised in a society that pressures them to be a certain way along with their caregivers having certain expectations of them. Men having certain personality traits is not a biological fact but it's common because of the gender roles they were expected to meet. With that said there is enough variety and difference in the personality of men to note that you can't group the personalities of all men together. Also the way kids are being raised is changing. Parents are realizing you shouldn't pressure your children to fit harmful gender roles.
