Love this film and messages it sends. It was just a different Marvel film and I loved that. I was devasted when Chadwick died, I had been diagnosed with breast cancer in 2019 and had finished treatment when he died. I saw this movie 5x in theaters, atleast 3x On Disney plus and once a couple of months before the sequel came out with danai gurira (okoye) and Lin Manuel Miranda, not to mention I've seen this video quite a few times and let me tell you!!....this is is first time I actually heard Okoye say "bast willing this will end quickly" 😂😂 Bast is the goddess they worship in Wakanda, an ancient Egyptian cat goddess.
Sad when Andy Serkis and Martin Freeman are in the interrogation room together neither asked a riddle or asked “what’s in my pocket” Both were in Lord of the Rings, Serkis as Gollum and Freeman as Bilbo Baggins
The Black Panther Lives.....we may have lost him but we were so blessed to have him as long as we did and for the work he put out. He was a beacon of hope in terms of Black representation onscreen and his loss is felt beyond measure. I'm glad that I live in a world where this movie and its sequel exist, and even happier I get to raise a little Black girl who will grow up watching this and seeing us shown as more than we get credit for on an average mainstream Hollywood production. Rest in Power Chadwick, we miss you more than you could know. Wakanda Forever!

Rest in Peace Chadwick aka the Black Panther aaaand the biggest thanks to Denzel Washington who did put in Chadwick's acting tuition & to "Mrs. Claire Huxtable" mentored Chadwick into a great actor. BTw, Michael B. Jordan, lawdy have mercy, he was understandably misunderstood villain and he is my all time favorite, not bc of his muscular body.
I just love you two guys. Continue to be you and be happy. Take care - A Nigerian British - born and living in London. Now let me stop and watch the reaction.
He is using a martial art invented by enslaved Africans in Brazil called Capoeira. It is dance based so when they practiced the slave masters thought they were dancing rather than learning how to fight back.
Did you see when kill monger broke his spear at the challenge for better maneuverability, I feel that is symbolic of when King Shaka Zulu did the same thing to the Zulu Spears because he also wanted better maneuverability when he went to war or when he was fighting.
I remember when it came out everyone came with traditional african clothing. I went to the new one with my peacock feather headress. Represtin the aztec blood
And that's what it's all about. Be you and be proud of who you are. The first BP movie was a gateway that without it becoming the huge success it did become, a lot of other movies of disenfranchised people probably wouldn't have seen represented. Including: Captain Marvel, Ms. Marvel, Moon Knight, Shang-Chi, The Eternals, and the Talocan. In real life, this reminds me of the gateway of the Civil Rights movement of which without that historical event, a lot of other people wouldn't have the freedom and privileges they have now in the U.S. The system still sucks and is still very corrupt but it was a huge historical event that black Americans head hunted in pursuit of representation. Pretty much how BP and Kilmonger were compared to Martin Luther King, Jr., and the beginning mindset of Malcolm X before he changed his views, back when he used to follow the ways of Louis Farrakhan. Tenoch was a great choice to play Namor. His version resonated very well. I've heard comic book fans say that his version was more subtle than the one from the comics. He wasn't over the top cartoonishly villainous. It wouldn't have worked for the tone of the movie. So Ryan made the right choice to have him be a little toned down from the comics.
I'm 49 & "conversate" 🙆🏿♂️ with ppl, that Chadwick was BETTER THAN Denzel !!! If he would've lived to play Miles Davis in a biopic, that was in SHOULD'VE solidified it !!!
There was a whole section of the Wakanda people. They were almost in the class of Killmonger in believing that Wakanda needed to join the world's power and not remain as an isolationist nation. The beauty of this film is the ability to show the antagonist point of view, no matter how extreme it was. P.S. did you guys watch the after credit scenes?
I think the thing I love most about this movie is that it’s probably the only Marvel movie where the hero realizes that the villain was right. They still disagree on methods, but on the main point of contention Killmonger was right. And T’Challa realizes it.
The messed up part is, Nakia already suggested it to him earlier in the movie. It wasn't until he was threatened and he got Eric's backstory that he took it more seriously into consideration.
Klaus arm is explained in Age of Ultron. Shuri talks about a 2nd white boy for her to fix is explained in Civil War. Pay attention to she Hulk and Ms marvel, as well as post credit of Wakanda forever... they're setting up young Avengers.
M'Baku rejected the heart-shaped herb but it wasn't for the noble reason that you think. The herb was touted to be a gift from the goddess Bast but M'Baku and the Jabari are disciples of Hanuman, the Hindu monkey deity. We know this because he dedicated his challenge to Hanuman. Had he accepted a boost of strength from the herb, I think his people would've viewed him as a sellout and he probably wouldn't have been able to live with himself had he accepted that offer. Accepting the herb could've meant dissent among his people and war within himself. That's my theory anyway.
Me about to watch Black Panther when it came out: lol I won't be doing any cringe Wakanda Forever poses - two hours later - Me, tears in eyes, "Wakanda Forever"
I believe the ancestral plain in this movie is the same as Moon Knight, but we saw it here first. Each culture has their own from what I understand, but it’s connected.
Recently I was watching some UA-cam videos on organizing and decluttering (stay with me here; it's relevant). These are shot in real homes by real people; some are professional wannabes and some are the woman behind you in the grocery checkout line. One video is filmed in a black home, and the thing that was most thrilling was seeing, briefly, the woman's 2 kids pass into view. One was head-to-toe in a skin-tight Black Panther Wakanda outfit. There is something that swells the heart and lets fly the spirit seeing something that raises pride and self-image in a child. These Wakanda films are an absolute Good.

I saw this movie 5x in theaters, atleast 3x On Disney plus and once a couple of months before the sequel came out with danai gurira (okoye) and Lin Manuel Miranda, not to mention I've seen this video quite a few times and let me tell you!!....this is is first time I actually heard Okoye say "bast willing this will end quickly" 😂😂
Bast is the goddess they worship in Wakanda, an ancient Egyptian cat goddess.
The sequel is just fine. I miss Chadwick tremendously though.
Sad when Andy Serkis and Martin Freeman are in the interrogation room together neither asked a riddle or asked “what’s in my pocket”
Both were in Lord of the Rings, Serkis as Gollum and Freeman as Bilbo Baggins
Ultron took that hand in Avengers
The ancestral place that's where all kings/previous black panther goes that's were he saw he's father
Go back and watch the scene after the credits. All of the MCU movies have end credit scenes. The one for black panther was kind of important.
Can't believe you guys didn't call out Stan Lee! This was one of his last cameos in the MCU before transitioning. 💛💛
I wouldn’t mind if there was a octokrool MCU reaction/rewatch series.
In every marvel movie there is an after credit scene in almost everyone
Martin Freeman and Andy Serkis nicknames on the set were the "Tolkien White Boys" because they were both in Lord of the Rings
Fantastic movie. RIP CHADWICK. Wakanda Forever is a must see. Angela Bassett is Phenomenal as Queen Ramonda. Shuri and M'Baku steal the show as well.
Must see?
Not from what I've heard...
@@rammsteinrulz16 you might have heard wrong . It was amazing . See it for yourself. Be prepared . It’s not a kiddie movie .
I was always annoyed at his friend though for giving him so little time. "I thought it would be different with you" Dude it's been like a week at least give him a year or two to clean things up, lol
Can't wait to see Wakanda Forever, next week while on vacation we can watch it in a bigger cinema then what we have
"All the stars" is my ringtone and screensaver of the movieposter since the that I heard that C. Boseman died, such a good human being in real life and as actor he will be missed
You should watch Chadwick's other movies starting with "Get on up" then "42" then Marshall
What Killmonger said was in reference to the slave trade because many slaves jumped off the slave ships, rather than be sold into slavery.
You guys gotta do Shang-Chi next. High level dope👌🏿
Watch Black Panther 2 in IMAX. it was soo good
watch it in 4DX. just be prepared to wake up the next day body sore than a mf lol but it was fun
I just love you two guys.
Continue to be you and be happy.
Take care - A Nigerian British - born and living in London.
Now let me stop and watch the reaction.
I appreciate those kind words a ton and the love too! :)
I don't know how I missed that perspective. Killmonger was hungry to be king while T'challa was afraid to be king.
Recommendation for you to react: Assault on Precinct 13 (1976), this movie is classic!
The guy with the hand I believe is named Klaw and was the guy who had his arm cut off by Ultron after bringing up Tony Stark infront of him.
You guys Need to watch Walk Hard The Dewey Cox Story. Such a funny and underrated film and not too many reactions to it!
Also I love the end of it between the 2 also with Bucky as well
The Duat in Moon Knight is the same as the Ancestral Plane!! that’s why they’re so similar, the hippo even mentions the ancestral plane
He is using a martial art invented by enslaved Africans in Brazil called Capoeira. It is dance based so when they practiced the slave masters thought they were dancing rather than learning how to fight back.
Chadwick is up there in heavens vip lounge, making jokes with Stan Lee.
Did you see when kill monger broke his spear at the challenge for better maneuverability, I feel that is symbolic of when King Shaka Zulu did the same thing to the Zulu Spears because he also wanted better maneuverability when he went to war or when he was fighting.
lmfao "BATTLE RHINOS?!?"
M'Baku being King Troll on Everett 🤣🤣
Top 5 MCU of all time
🧢 Black Panther is very good but not top 5
@@EazyRocko so what’s top 5?
@@Getstr8cash
Infinity War
Winter Soldier
Civil War
Endgame
Iron Man
This movie is very incredible at the ending credits it made me cry a little
I remember when it came out everyone came with traditional african clothing.
She’s like the old guy that gives James Bond his equipment
In the comics black panther also has the mantle of "King of the dead" in a macabre ironic twist
I'd love to see you guys tackle Chadwick's other non marvel movies. Cause ma rainey's black bottom, Marshall, 42. Etc.
Andy Serkis (Gollum) and Martin Freeman (Bilbo) are the Tolkien white guys in this movie
Nice reaction watching from South Africa Johannesburg. Much love wakanda forever 👌🏿🙅🏾♀️
First time watching this it gave me chills when T'chaka told T'challa to stand up because he was now king
just realized the vibrating of the rust of the weapon wasn't because the vibranium rusted but because of the dried blood over the years.
Klaus arm is explained in Age of Ultron. Shuri talks about a 2nd white boy for her to fix is explained in Civil War. Pay attention to she Hulk and Ms marvel, as well as post credit of Wakanda forever... they're setting up young Avengers.
I guess you could say Kilmongor was BUILT DIFFERENT!
Y’all should react to Roll Bounce, it’s one of the most underrated movies and it has a somewhat star studded cast.
Me about to watch Black Panther when it came out: lol I won't be doing any cringe Wakanda Forever poses
- two hours later -
Me, tears in eyes, "Wakanda Forever"
❤love watching with you guys
