  • Honestly, these trout are beyond beautiful. Scottish trout are famous for being stunning and these fish certainly lived up to expectations. Trout fishing in Scotland is something I've always wanted to do and to have the time and the chance to indulge my Scottish trout fishing lust was an absolute pleasure.
I was based in the South West of Scotland and underrated area of an utterly stunning country. This was a day ticket fishing session on an area of river/loch where pay on the bank was enforced. I confirmed all local laws and rules prior to fishing from local information.
Tight Lines folks, hope you enjoy!!

I keep reptiles and I live in Scotland so I know a little bit about Scottish reptiles although I’m by no means an expert.
Was that a red baby snake? As far as I know there are no snakes in the uk that are bright red. Some adders will be reddish but that seemed like it was bright red. I’m stumped. Unless it was a snake that escaped captivity.

What location was it where u saw the snake , it looks like a adder however possibly a new colour morph would be rather interesting to know if Scotland has a wild population of thriving colour mutations of the adder I’m sure there’s been reports of albinos in Europe bjt unsure if any been discovered yet in uk 🇬🇧
