- We were told not to leave the resort at Sandals Negril, but we just had to walk the 7-mile beach! So, we walked from Sandals Negril to Beaches Negril. It was a little sketchy, but we meet some cool locals along the way! Mike & David!

Oh an awesome walk..7 miles (11.3km). My sort of walk. Going to love this. Oh how quaint- and safety measure. Signing out. Oh yes, I see those clouds- love it, Liquid Sunshine 🩷! Now that is really getting to know the local people. Love this better than a souvenir shop. Security is quite good then? Lunch looked awesome. 👌🇳🇱🙋♀🥝
The resort discourages going off the property, but we just had to explore that beautiful beach and we are glad we did! You would love it! Hope your week is going well. Maybe it will warm up for you guys soon. As always appreciate you watching! Cheers!

We stayed at Sandals a few tears ago when Gerard's nephew got married at Beaches. We did that walk from Sandals to Beaches a few times. Mike , his brother and all their local wares along with the 3 shipwrecks weren't there then. The walk was a little sketchy especially when we had to go through a little wooded area. A couple of guys appeared to be living in the woods. Didn't bother us, just asked if we had any food to share with them. They were very appreciative when we brought them a meal on our return trip. We did take a taxi when we traveled back & forth after dark though.

I went to Jamaica 30 years ago and I felt unsafe the whole time we were there! I would never go there again. The beaches are crappy compared to Punta Cana or Cancun! Glad you made it back safe!
