Jamaican Daniel Grizzle first met his late wife Sylvie, then Sylvie Maucorps, at a nightclub in Birmingham when a friend asked him to watch out for her. The couple had planned to live in Africa, where Daniel had secured a job, but a letter from his father that he was in ill health and dying changed the couple’s course.

I would love to visit, it looks like a real nice place, run by real nice people and seems to have a family, home kind of feel to it. I think I would greatly enjoy a stay there.

Where is this place located
I stayed there in 2017.
We had breakfast there on our trip to Negril and it was lovely. Would definitely go back.

Sylvie and Daniel are the best of people, one love, and the memories that I have of Charela Inn will never die. Two of the most gracious hosts that I am proud to call friends. The memories of the staff and their efforts to provide a relaxing atmosphere will never be forgotten. There, "on 'd beach" we were all God's children.

Seems like a nice couple. However he has a very nasty security guard working for him at the hotel. Won't stay there again.
