I went through all the DIY furniture videos on UA-cam already, but I was looking for something to do with painted furniture. Today I have stumbled upon your videos and I am really happy about it. Thanks for sharing your videos. I see there are quite a few videos to keep myself busy with. 😄
It would have been helpful if you told us what color kit and stain you used to get this look, or provide a link to the specific products used in the video.
You're absolutely right. I used the Retique It Weathered Wood Tabletop Kit ➡️ retique.com/products/tabletopkit_weathered-wood_s_tripletique This kit comes with everything-- all the graining tools...Liquid Wood Coatings Wood'n Stain as well as topcoat (Tripletique)
Great video and job!!! Would the primer or stain fill the grain in oak kitchen cabinet doors and does any of the products have texture to them needing sanding for a finer finish Thank you again for all the info
Thank you for your kind words. It's a really fun and amazing set of products to use. Feel free to join our Facebook group called Next Level Flipping with Retique It.
I’m a professional painter looking to expand into countertops. 2 questions. Is there any kind of contractor pricing? And is the tool used after or before the base coat or when applying the stain?
It does work but the best combination is our new Wood'n Stain because it also has wood in it and is so durable that it can even be used for decking. www.woodfinishkit.com
Hi, Do you you have a UK distributor? The price on Amazon UK is unreasonable. Also would it be possible to create the grain on smaller surface areas such as door frames and base boards. Thanks
Check the price on our website, www.retique.com. Contact us through the website we will give you a 20% discount code to offset some of the shipping cost.

Thank you! We actually sell Retique It Mud Filler for that. After the Wood'n Primer dries, it just feels like bare wood that is smooth.
How thin of a coat do I put on with the stain? I did a sample board today and doesn’t look right so wonder if I put on too thick.
If you do a second coat of stain do you have to use the grain tool again?
I am so impressed with this product. Do you have retailers or individuals that sell?
Yes we do... go to Retique.com/storelocator

Can you poly over it to use it outside?
HI, Can you tell me if the stain brand called General Finishes Oil Based Gel Stain is ok to use on the Retique it?. Thanks. Sold at WoodCraft stores.
