You always make miracles . You are so talented. I am always surprise by the accucracy you can achieved just by hand . I will wait quietly to see the full tuning.
I’ve been aching to see this old gal go back together, great work with this car guys and I’m really looking forward to seeing this finished and maybe, Just maybe, one day that Disaster Datsun actually getting finished!
I really appreciate the explanation of how you approach welding in the new panels. I have similar repairs to tackle in the future and your tips will definitely help me as I learn how to do this stuff. Thanks!
Just want to add to the other comments. Thank you for taking the time to explain in more detail of what you are doing and the tips you've learned. Well done Steve - I first saw this when you had started to take it apart and I was surprised you were going to cut and weld it due to the amount of work required - but here you are approx 17 months later still giving it the love and care very few would have done 😊
That was 20 quick minutes that disappeared, what a great job on this Porsche, i have been watching you work on this since the beginning. Cannot wait to see what the finished car will look like. By the way great music too..
You see so many guys struggle with arches, so some very valuable tips here, thank you! If the customer is going coil-overs, will you also brace the rear strut towers for him?
This is getting great, a tremendous job you have done to it. And… what about the Mazda Cosmo? I’m desperately waiting to see the Cosmo progressing, for which you have done a very high quality job either. 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
@@GT380man I know what you mean. I’m sure once all the paint is on, it’ll look amazing. I would have preferred wide arches at the rear and stock at front.
Great work again Steve. Another Car which could have been destined for the Scrap, Reborn😊 Quick technical question. Would it be better to use No Gas Steel wire with lower temps or TIG??
That is going to be a lovely and safe car to drive ,after all your skilled work,it makes you wonder how many tarted up heaps are out there being used daily, the owner will be on happy fella,,your attention to detail and your years of experience have transformed a death trap into a drivers car
Hello Steve 👋 and everyone at YCR. That was a perfect fit 👌 you sure know your business about cars that's neat you have specifications super neat video tell captain yorkshire I said hello 👋 and everyone.
Crazy good work as per usual! When will it be receiving a hard roof conversion too? I clearly remember the video where normal hard roof rear quarters & roof were supplied. Or has that plan been cancelled for now?
I’m ok skool so Steve you will get the Alexie Sayle reference; Ullo John Got A New Motor? That’s what I think of watching every episode your channel puts out :-)

Awesome work Steve. I have to say that I preferred it without the flares though. Anyway, that's what the customer wants I guess
The master of cutting, bending, shaping and welding, and also the structural knowledge of car bodies.
Hey guys!
Very nice work!
What about the "DISASTER DATSUN 240" ??

A video from YCR just makes my day and I feel that alls right in life.
Super nice with all the panel beating tips 👍🏻
Amazing job Steve - you’ve practically rebuilt that car.
Steve certainly saved it. Most would not & could not.
I’m not sure about the overall shape myself, but it’ll be a sound and unusual car.
@@GT380man I know what you mean. I’m sure once all the paint is on, it’ll look amazing.

Brilliant work as always lads. Wheel size great not sure about wheel choice but let’s see the finished result 👍
Great work again Steve.
Another Car which could have been destined for the Scrap, Reborn😊
Quick technical question. Would it be better to use No Gas Steel wire with lower temps or TIG??
Its good to see he used Fuch wheels one of the only stock wheels that look good.

Gentlemen, great work on the car! You and your staff do awesome work.
There’s nothing like watching a master craftsman doing his thing. Superb work my man. Btw, don’t i remember a plan to turn it into a hard top coupe??
Nice Beatle, Opps Porsche
This is one of your best episodes, Steve! It has excellent instructional value and it's interesting!😊
You men (ALL OF YOU BROTHES FATHERS AND SONS ETC) are 💯% magicians.
Amazing job as always. Is the customer going to keep the colour?
Gonna be epic. Great work Steve, as usual.

Hello Steve 👋 and everyone at YCR. That was a perfect fit 👌 you sure know your business about cars that's neat you have specifications super neat video tell captain yorkshire I said hello 👋 and everyone.
Great job, definitely, but the flares…?
Awesome quality of work, not quite sure if I'm a fan of the wide body arches though.. perhaps better when it's all painted.
Good to see this car back .

Starting to look like a beautiful motor 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻

Nice work Steve, great explanations, I have learnt a lot watching you guys.
Thought so to, explaining as he was going along.
Hey Steve, I can never understand why you don't put rust inhibitor paint on the welded areas before filler? Why is that?
👍
A work of art...!

Looking great, Yellow Lambo!!, new project 🤔
Best wishes.

Superb job, welding mask👍🏿👍🏿👍🏿👍🏿

Crikey, that has got it's fair share of rot😳😳.
I like your little magnetic light, what make is it?
Looks like the offset is not right on the rear wheels.
I thought this was going to get converted back from a convertible to a solid roof?
👍🏻
Let’s go
Is there a reason why you MIG welded this and not used TIG?
Ок ок перфекто
Whoever says that this is not art does not know what he is talking about.
Why isnt this video in the porsche playlist as ive watching it over the last few days
hhhmmmmm welding!!!!!
Come on boys where ir the Datsun 240
Shouldn't you have covered up the dash before cutting the braces off?
When is mat Armstrong getting his bmw back? Seems to have gone quiet on that.
Meticulous attention to detail. Your customer is getting a beautiful restoration.
Sooory ireally really dont understand the costumer idea
It's going to be a drivers car, not for posing around town
