Loved this video! A word of warning about the apple cider vinegar, be careful not to damage your teeth. After 2 years of drinking ACV everyday the enamel on my teeth was so damaged, I needed porcelain veneers on all of my front top teeth. My dentist told me it was the ACV and in the future, to drink it with a straw and try to avoid getting it on my teeth.

Imagine what it does to your insides if it does that to your hard teeth! It shouldn’t be drank like this as it causes stomach ulcers and damages your esophagus (acid reflux + esophegeal cancer).

@@ketilila It did not help me with weight loss though many people claim it helps for them. I started taking ACV to improve gut health. I have had better results for maintaining a healthy weight by eating a plant based diet.

I just wanted to add something about the Brazil nuts. I'm Brazilian and in Brazil this is common knowledge, but I don't know if it is as well in other countries: this nut is called castanha do pará in Brazil, and you are only supposed to eat 1 or 2 of these a day if you plan to eat them for a long time. If you eat a large quantity of them for a while you may get selenium poisoning. 1 of these nuts has about 150% of the daily selenium that you need already. As long as you don't eat them in large amounts they are really good for you. Enjoy them and stay safe =)

Wish I had read this before! A few months ago I ate about 7 pr 8 Brazil nuts at once and I spent the entire next day throwing up. Selenium poisoning is no joke.

OMG! You are supposed to put 1 tablespoon of apple cider vinegar in 8 ounces of water. It can take the enamel off of your teeth!! So if you decide to continue this, you need to dilute it quite a bit.

@@missvipbcna straw is bad for the appearance of your teeth in terms of their alignment ( same reason you shouldn’t suck your thumb) but it’s definitely good for keeping corrosive materials off of your teeth. My aunt even drinks her hot coffee through a straw to avoid staining lol.
I have porridge almost every day for breakfast and I don’t see myself stopping anytime soon 😅 I just switch up the toppings - usually some kind of nut butter + banana or mango (depending on the season) + blueberries 👌🏼 crumbled lotus/biscoff cookies also work really well 🤤

Delicious! If I take I put on weight because I have insulin resistance. So, I have to replace oat with protein powder.

1 tbs ACV in a glass of water is enough. Always drink with a straw to protect the enamel on your teeth. Rinse your mouth with water afterwards for the same reason. Wait at least 20-30 minutes before you eat anything to give the ACV time to work on your gut.

It’s nice to see people outside of the US who have some knowledge about seasonal/quality foods and cooking do this type of video. Was expecting the typical vapid influencer but was pleasantly surprised to find commentary that was intelligent and articulate. Also appreciated the thoughtfulness about plastic packaging waste. And those veggies looked so good! Very nice market you have.
Love this - so many yummy meals! Thank you! 💕 Personally, I put only one or two tablespoons of apple vinegar in a mug of warm water, I also add some lemon juice (again just a tiny bit) and some ginger and honey. Some people also add a sprinkle of cinnamon and/or pepper. So in case you want to give it another try, this might be a way to mix it up a little, and make it less strong. 🍏🙂

HI Hannah you might try letting the nuts, seeds, (chia especially)almond butter and fruit just sit in a bowl with the oats for about 10 minuts without cooking and eat it raw. Its soft enough and it actually tastes better than when the oats are cooked. It's like overnight oats that soak but you don't have to let it sit that long to get soft enough to chew and taste good. Just a suggestion you might try.

Snax I make: Food lion 1/4 sourdough loaf -grab 2 slices and put Cashew Butter + toppings (raspberries, strawberries) or if your having one of *those* days a couple choc chips
Avocado toast/untoasted with sourdough slices
Portion controlled blue corn tortilla chips with queso
Chobani Coffee creamer+ coffee
Also there’s a great hot chocolate recipe by Stefan/French Cooking Academy on here, French hot chocolate. ☕️ I do not have this one much at all but it’s such a great recipe and wanted to give him a shout out!!

My doctor told me for good gut health I could take a big bite of sauerkraut every day. Much more appealing to me than the apple cider vinegar. That’s another option!

You must be talking about Unicorn ! Love that place, anytime we’re up in Manchester it’s a must. I’m from Los Angeles and miss the great grocery stores there and Dorset/Hampshire just don’t have anything that compare. I suppose the Whole Foods in London is a good option when there! Love this diet but I’m no longer plant based after 20 years of being so… I need animal protein now as I’m 40 and my body is suffering from not eating animal products for so long :( but plant foods are amazing for cleansing and I include them in every meal! 🙏🏽
Your body does not need animal protein but it does need added vitamins that modern foods no longer have; gmos, pesticides, over-processed (ex. those mini carrots usually in pre-made veggie trays) etc. You definitely need to do what's best for you and your but it is possible to live forever without animal byproducts. Being vegetarian/vegan is a bit more time consuming, costs more, and requires more prep but it's not hard it just takes sometime to get use to it.

It’s probably because this chocolate is raw. I tried raw coco nibbles and they were kind of sour- tasted nothing like chocolate. I didn’t mind though knowing it’s so much more nutritious than a normal chocolate, even the best dark, but still regular, chocolate.

I blended the seeds all together and keeping in the fridge, so much easy.
I'm dying!! You put SO much ACV in your glass. Try just 1 tbsp next time. :) Also, look into drinking loaded water rather than regular water. Water actually pulls minerals out of anything it goes into, which is one reason we tend to have mineral deficiencies. An excellent electrolyte recipe I've been using for months is, 2 Liters Water, 1 tsp potassium chloride (No Salt), 1 tsp sodium bicarbonate (baking soda), 1/2 tsp sodium chloride (Himalayan/Sea Salt), 1/2 tsp magnesium sulphate (Epsom Salt). The taste isn't bad. I drink an entire 2 liters almost in a day. I prefer the taste now to regular water, which I wouldn't have said when I first started. Since I've been hydrating with loaded water, my skin has looked so amazing. I am regular, and my skin is actually clearing up. Amazing what minerals can do.

Maybe you can replace the cider vinegar with a slice of sour dough bread. Apple cider is good for salad and chips but I’d be concerned drinking it first thing could be too acidic for your gut. Sourdough bread with spelt, rye, tiger nut etc are very good for you.

I add organic apple cider vinegar with my main meal,then brush my teeth straight after.
I would recommend drinking water to rinse out the ACV off your teeth and waiting 30 min before brushing teeth! Brushing teeth immediately after eating/drinking something acidic can cause damage to tooth enamel as well!

I think you need to soak or cook chia seeds before consuming? If you have enough raw chia seeds you can give yourself a blockage :(
