I feel like models get a bad rep just for being beautiful - when they're usually really down to earth, with their own host of insecurities etc (modelling isn't easy)
Models are among the nicest people ever. As an ugly dude and someone who works around them, I have NEVER ever been made to feel ugly or been left out. They've always been kind and treated me like a human being first, despite the fact they work in an industry based on looks.
I love how much body positivity and joy this showed for photography by the end. Portraits are some of my favorite things to shoot because bouncing off the model is so much fun. Just want to say that although you looked super photo ready by the end you were also photo ready to begin with and the most important thing was that you were happy with yourself. You killed the shoot and the poses were epic. Also, kudos to your photographer. The photos don't look over edited and showed you off really well. Stay fit and stay happy!
The fact that her body fat went down but her weight didn’t go down made me feel reassured. I’ve been working my butt off but I’m the same weight but now I know it’s not everything .
chooseaname000 Muscle mass is heavier than fat so that shouldn’t discourage you. Use a measuring tape instead of a scale to measure your results. It’s a lot more accurate. I’ve gained weight since I started working out a year ago, but I’m slimmer overall.
chooseaname000 omg me too! My boyfriend keeps telling my it's muscle but I still feel down I don't see the numbers change. Yes I know it's not about the numbers
It's so crazy how a beautiful girl can have such issues with how they look. Michelle was beautiful even before the training. That skin tone is just so pretty and she has the cutest nose.
When she cries in her videos, I think to myself that she is so genuine and my heart goes out to her. Beauty lies in the eye of the beholder, literally.
Your glow up is showing Michelle! Not that you weren’t a gem before, but all the crazy challenges you endured, and the times you kicked yourself in the butt has definitely paid off. I really do admire your consistent drive to deliver good content :)❤️
I have never seen somebody work so incredibly hard for their youtube channel for even one video. You put forth so much time and effort in every video that you do. Every one is either meant to break barriers, learn about the struggles other people go through, attempt to make the world better and greener through environmental changes and so much more. I am lucky to be able to watch such amazing content from such an incredible, hard working woman.
The before and after stats are legit why its so important to not let that "weight" number be a huge factor in your goals of working out. Even though she only lost 0.25lbs of weight, she lost an incredible amount of fat and gotten so much fitter as a result. Always strive to treat working out as a lifestyle rather than a weight goal. You're not trying to lose weight, youre trying to lose fat. And the scale will never tell you that especially when u gain those extra dense muscles.
@@xxkellyrose2527 its not....if ppl want to be skinnier and thats how they feel healthy then telling them its unhealthy is just egoistic, and that goes for the opposite too, and by the way Victoria Secret's models are skinny, like skinny to the level of malnutrition and they get thru fine with their regiment
I like that Steve pointed out that he often tries to get them where they want to be in half the allotted time so that, in the event that that time is reduced for any reason, they will have reached their goal anyway.

@Mr. R 21% body fat isn't the absolute leanest, but it is lean. The average woman is closer to 25-28% body fat. 15-17% is more like a body builder and most lingerie/swimsuit models are not going for that level of lean as it looks less "womanly".
@Thinblue Line the bmi scale isnt rlly accurate for someone who weight lifts cuz of muscle and Michelle is clearly very fit. 21% body fat is pretty good. She's not at her fittest but she's still quite fit

Sugax Savage correct about sugar, but not about lean protein, unless he subscribed to the AHA saying saturated fat is a risk factor. But ask any functional doc that implements paleo templates and lean protein then becomes obsolete and a disservice to our genetics
Nothing replaces a well balanced diet of natural foods and drinking plenty of water. People spend WAY too much time focusing on specific diets. Its ridiculous. Eat clean food, not garbage, and exercise. It's not that hard.
StrangeClouds just not too much water or you could obtain mineral issues like low blood sodium (hyponatrimia), unless you are supplementing with sea salt, and potassium and such.
@@Matt-pi9jo Well obviously. But you shouldnt be replacing water with sugar/preservative filled waste. If you are eating a well balanced diet you should be receiving most the nutrients your body needs from your diet. In few circumstances someone should only require supplementation if they have a specific medical disorder or deficiency.
To explain some things: 1. She needed to cut the sugar and focus on vegetables and lean meats with some fruit to lose the water weight. Carbs bind to water. So, people that want to look swollen carb up, while the ones that want to look defined cut carbs and in the endstages also water and they purposely sweat a lot, too. (This is only for photoshoots. You can look good even on a high carb diet.) 2. The exercises demand that you breath out when the muscle contracts, so that your muscles form more lean. If you do crunches regularly while breathing in, your belly will portrude and give you always a somewhat bloated look. This isn't good if you want a flat belly. 3. Good posture makes you more attractive and makes you look taller. If you stretch your muscles around the breast area, you'll have an easier time standing upright. Also, upright means that your sternal is pointing upwards. 4. Getting rid of body hair, makes ab lines more visible and defined. Plus, it makes you less fuzzy looking on camera. 5. Tanning makes you more evenly coloured and gives the photographer an easier time to make viewers notice the things he wants them to notice. 6. Good sleep makes you look less puffy and gets rid of or minimizes bad skin and eyebags. 7. Cardio avoids bulking and burns extra calories. Also, the extra bloodflow helps you lose weight and you don't need a personal trainer for it. (Though, only do intense cardio a few weeks before your photoshoot, since your body adapts to it fast. Which means, it will burn less calories than you expect. That's why our hunter gatherer ancestors had a similar calorie need like our office workers.) 'Hope this was helpful or interesting!
Micah Falline. Yes, real tanning under the sun does that to you, but a tanning bed or, even more precise, a professional spray tan can even out your colors. Though, you are right tanning is unhealthy and especially tanning beds have the worst traits of sunlight.

Honestly I love that she didn’t lose any weight. This shows people that focusing on that number on the scale tells you absolutely nothing about what’s going on inside. I remember having an ED and focusing only on that number and having full blown panic attacks in response. Self love, determination, and discipline are things you need in order to accomplish what you want.
Damn, how are you not confident? Your so beautiful, pretty and kind. I so hope you become more confident in your body because your amazing. (OMG thanks for all the likes guys!)
Find yourself pure cacao (not cocoa). It'll have a bitter chocolate flavor but no sugar. It's not going to taste like sugar chocolate, but it is a good stepping stone to eating less usgar
Do remember that such a low calorie diet can cause acne once again if you do it longterm, because it throws your hormones off balance if you do it for too long.
@@cheesecake7274 She didn't lose any weight, so obviously calories were not an issue. Also very rare for people to under-eat these days, so I'd be far more worried about curbing sugar than avoiding caloric deficits
I know there's obviously lots of people that have successfully adjusted and normalized their lifestyle to diets and workout regimens like this, but I just wanted to highlight that for somebody that needed to make a lot of adjustments, put in a ton of physical and mental/emotional work to reach these goals, took so much courage and discipline to take on these challenges (seen and unforseen - shoutout panic attack 🥴). you have no idea how much I LOVED this video!!! a couple years ago I attempted to do all those "Vicotria Secret Workout Plans and Diets" and became so obsessed with it, never focusing on what truly mattered - the confidence. My goal was just to have the exact same body as them, and with that, I never had a healthy obsession with fitness. This video changed that. You've inspired me so much, and I thank you so much for trying this, sharing the experience to the world. You look amazing!!!
even if i was comfortable in my body, i don’t think i could pose in a bikini or naked because while it is freeing, i don’t think i would be able to deal with the vulnerability that comes with it
I've spent months taking selfies, and just started an Instagram: instagram.com/noellexandria/ Yeah, it's vulnerably as fuck, but much easier when taking them yourself. Knowing no one sees the bad ones and having total control helps a lot. A pro can obviously do better, but it's helped me start to get a bit comfortable. Wanna make it harder? I decided to start burlesque classes and will be stripping on stage April 5th. I think the only way we're going to push ourselves is to just push ourselves, see that we can survive it, and own it.
this video basically showed me that "you need to be perfect in order to look good" like i wish someone could actually show us how "we can look good in our own imperfections" this video showed me how, you need to loose weight and be fit, be on a strict diet, get a full on body makeover, in order to be perfect and look good. When will we ever have a video showing us that we don't need all of this to be perfect, A video showing us how to embrace our natural beauty and imperfections.
Tamara Zahran you shouldn’t need a video to tell you how to take advantage of your own imperfections. That’s your job. What are you like 16? You don’t need to be perfect unless you want to be. You don’t need to push yourself for a healthier life. That’s what top tier models do because it’s a job. It’s a career. It’s hard work. You’re not even asking the right questions 😂

8:50 it's true that it is hard work. But they get paid to look good...it is literally their job to work-out and eat healthy. Yeah true that...I think every girl should try this routine.
Yeah. I think it's more important to be healthy than to be skinny.

I think everyone should try it. Everything needs to be healthy. This is a really good diet!
You’ve been looking at the wrong vs models
Much better looking imo anyways
Loved seeing how supportive and comfortable the professional model was. She didn’t make her feel insecure at all.

I like that Steve pointed out that he often tries to get them where they want to be in half the allotted time so that, in the event that that time is reduced for any reason, they will have reached their goal anyway.
it is not great. Most of the times in fitness, what comes fast goes away even faster. The “good part” of this episode could be gone the day it finishes. Plus, if the routine/nutrition is super restrictive, it can cause this thing that happen to her, like a panic attack, vomits, diarrea, etc

@Mr. R 21% body fat isn't the absolute leanest, but it is lean. The average woman is closer to 25-28% body fat. 15-17% is more like a body builder and most lingerie/swimsuit models are not going for that level of lean as it looks less "womanly".
@Thinblue Line BMI isn't as relevant if your body fat % is low, like her is to start with. BMI assumes are certain amount of fat and lean muscle mass.
@Thinblue Line the bmi scale isnt rlly accurate for someone who weight lifts cuz of muscle and Michelle is clearly very fit.

To explain some things:
1. You can look good even on a high carb diet.)
That's why our hunter gatherer ancestors had a similar calorie need like our office workers.)
'Hope this was helpful or interesting!
It sure was! Thanks a lot! :D
Ai CopyCat bruh I screen shotted this thank u so much😂😂😂
Micah Falline. Yes, real tanning under the sun does that to you, but a tanning bed or, even more precise, a professional spray tan can even out your colors. Though, you are right tanning is unhealthy and especially tanning beds have the worst traits of sunlight.

even if i was comfortable in my body, i don’t think i could pose in a bikini or naked because while it is freeing, i don’t think i would be able to deal with the vulnerability that comes with it
You'd only be vulnerable to whoever sees it. You can keep them to yourself, or only share with your romantic partners.
