Her diet seems sustainable. Once you have trained yourself to eat less, being hungry on those portions isn't really an issue and you get full faster. Also, smoothies are INCREDIBLY filling. They get me through almost half the day, but I usually eat something else before I get hungry anyway. Salmon is also very filling. There is a large difference between starving yourself and eating healthy, well-portioned food.

most models do eat whatever they want because they eat this way 90-95% of the time and then indulge when they choose. also "models" are genetically "gifted" so in fact some may actually eat what they want but they will pay for that later in life

I have a calorie app that balances my caloric need with my lifestyle and it adds up to 1680. I’m not too active and only walk up and down stairs in a building and a brisk walk in the evening. She looks healthy and not too thin. People are just so used to over eating that regular portions seem like too much.
i made the two salads and the sweet potato mash and they were so good. The salmon was a delicious idea but I added onions and rosemary as well and it was incredible! I also mixed up the mash with some butternut squash, parnsips, sweet potatoes, grated garlic, black pepper and a splash of olive oil

I eat 1200 cal a day if that and I exercise. I just had bloodwork to check my thyroid and it's great. Iron is great. No deficiencies. No health problems. I weigh 105.

There are so many comments saying that she under-eats, but it's not really portion size that counts. It is the amount of nutrients in the food. Her food satisfies a healthy and balanced diet. For those saying that those are too few calories, a cup of seeds itself can be way over 800 calories, MORE than a McDonald's Double Quarter Pounder. Fruits are a great source of natural sugar and since plants are primary producers, they contain the most amount of energy. Her portions may look small and condensed, but it is no where close to under-eating.

Rebecca Chen You wouldn't be "super super hungry" if you ate normally - between 1800-2500 depending on your BMR and activity level. That's how much it takes to maintain a healthy weight (BMI 19-24). If you eat less and are maintaining a healthy weight, it's most likely because you've deprived your body for too long that your metabolism has slowed down quite much.
I eat similarly to what she eats, and I'm not skin and bones. Different body types process food differently. Plus Miranda Kerr is just naturally skinny. That's genetics, just like her natural dimples.

CL1225 I calculated the macros and is less than 1100. I'm a nutritionist, and a CPT, and bodybuilder. I'm 5'5, 120lbs, and I eat 1200-1300 when I wanna be in a deficit. And 1400-1500 if wanna be in maintenance. She's definitely under eating. I mean, the food is very healthy, but not enough. I guess is typical of models cuz they don't lift weights, and have to stay underweight in order to keep getting booked. It is sad cuz that creates malnourishment, and future health problems. She may suffer of osteoporosis, and other ailments in the future due to malnutrition. But that's society, and the world of the famous. Screw health, and praise unhealthy looks over health. It just saddens me.

Yeah, I believe if you eat healthy the fiber and volume of Whole Foods will keep you satiated, fuller and naturally eat less if you eat until you are comfortably full and satiated
I'd recommend trying a plantbased diet. It can help a lot because animal products (meat, milk, eggs) are super high in saturated fat so even small portions have a lot of calories and can make you gain weight. Plant foods have a much lower caloric density so you can eat way more. Plus you would be avoiding the saturated and trans fats in animal products, the cholesterol which clogs your arteries in the long run, and the lack of fiber and vitamins too. So overall that would be the best step if you wanna eat healthy, just look up some 'what I eat plantbased/vegan' vids and you'll see :)
Baka noir Hi, I totally get you and I would recommend a plant based diet because it contains less calories so you can eat as much as you want. My favorite breakfast has been lately oatmeal (I cook it with 1 banana and add some peanut butter on top) it tastes so good and keeps me full and energized through out the day. Anyway that's my advice, good luck with your transition :)

It annoys me how all these people add a "lol" to their comment. Yeah go ahead and laugh about it. What you don't realize is that, even as a model, you have to treat your body right. You should do that with healthy foods but every form of undereating is dangerous for our bodies, doesn't matter if she's model, her body doesn't care about that, it cares about how she treats it.
Oh and also I find it scary that y'all think 1000 kcal more would be too much or the about a bodybuilder would eat. Jesus, this society is so fucked.

I eat 1200 cal a day if that and I exercise. I just had bloodwork to check my thyroid and it's great. Iron is great. No deficiencies. No health problems. I weigh 105.

I was honestly expecting a video of lies (a lot of these types of videos show so much food, it just isn’t realistic), but I can actually believe she eats like this. All of it is pretty low calorie, and healthy.
OK, everyone is complaining and I don't understand why people are so mad just because she eats what she eats. One side tells her she is "too healthy" and the other side claims she is so "unhealthy", because she is not vegan. The thing is - She does not care. I actually made the pancakes that she made, and they are super easy to do and delicious! They are ready in like 5 mins....and so healthy!
There are so many comments saying that she under-eats, but it's not really portion size that counts. It is the amount of nutrients in the food. Her food satisfies a healthy and balanced diet. For those saying that those are too few calories, a cup of seeds itself can be way over 800 calories, MORE than a McDonald's Double Quarter Pounder. Fruits are a great source of natural sugar and since plants are primary producers, they contain the most amount of energy. Her portions may look small and condensed, but it is no where close to under-eating.

Rebecca Chen You wouldn't be "super super hungry" if you ate normally - between 1800-2500 depending on your BMR and activity level. That's how much it takes to maintain a healthy weight (BMI 19-24). If you eat less and are maintaining a healthy weight, it's most likely because you've deprived your body for too long that your metabolism has slowed down quite much.

i think she is probably eating at a bit of a deficit but not to the point where it is unhealthy or she is starving herself! and i think in total everything she ate is more around 1200-1400 cal? that's just what i'm assuming 😅
CL1225 I calculated the macros and is less than 1100. I'm a nutritionist, and a CPT, and bodybuilder. I'm 5'5, 120lbs, and I eat 1200-1300 when I wanna be in a deficit. And 1400-1500 if wanna be in maintenance. She's definitely under eating. I mean, the food is very healthy, but not enough. I guess is typical of models cuz they don't lift weights, and have to stay underweight in order to keep getting booked. It is sad cuz that creates malnourishment, and future health problems. She may suffer of osteoporosis, and other ailments in the future due to malnutrition. But that's society, and the world of the famous. Screw health, and praise unhealthy looks over health. It just saddens me.

She could also be eating snacks that we don't see. Plus, this is for a video so she's really just sharing recipes rather than vlogging all her actual full meals. Yeah, I believe if you eat healthy the fiber and volume of Whole Foods will keep you satiated, fuller and naturally eat less if you eat until you are comfortably full and satiated
I'd recommend trying a plantbased diet. It can help a lot because animal products (meat, milk, eggs) are super high in saturated fat so even small portions have a lot of calories and can make you gain weight. Plant foods have a much lower caloric density so you can eat way more. Plus you would be avoiding the saturated and trans fats in animal products, the cholesterol which clogs your arteries in the long run, and the lack of fiber and vitamins too. So overall that would be the best step if you wanna eat healthy, just look up some 'what I eat plantbased/vegan' vids and you'll see :)
Baka noir Hi, I totally get you and I would recommend a plant based diet because it contains less calories so you can eat as much as you want. My favorite breakfast has been lately oatmeal (I cook it with 1 banana and add some peanut butter on top) it tastes so good and keeps me full and energized through out the day. Anyway that's my advice, good luck with your transition :)
