Great video. My purchase didn’t include specific instructions related to the fuses. Prior to the video I spent an hour try to figure it out. Post video it only took me 15 min!!

I just installed them on my taco, thanks for the video! I have a question where should I connect them so that they stay on without turning on the head lights? I tried to conect them in the DRL but they stay on even if I turn off the Truck. Thanks you
My raptor lights have been in for over 3 months. Check engine light came on yesterday. Dealership said was the add-a-circuit fuse tap. Guessing you have had NO issues with yours in the year since installed?
Mine are still in, the only issue I’ve had was also the add a fuse being in a fuse slot that housed the fuel injectors or something like that. I had taken my truck into a shop (not Toyota) for an alignment and they had issues getting it started for the test drive. The dash basically said to take the vehicle to the nearest dealership. We looked under the goo and found the add a fuse was a tad loose. He suggested using a different fuse slot, something that wasn’t as important as the injectors, and it was fixed just like that.
@@WesleyAllenNC Thanks for your reply. I noticed that in one add-a-fuse the unit was a low profile but not the mini, thus I may have shared your issue, as mine in the INJ fuse slot. May I ask which slot you used? Have fun!
The fuse you used for my 2020 TRD Sport made the lights stay on all the time. I hooked into the DLR fuse to ony come on when my Daylight running lights are on.
@@thorb72 Hey! SUPER late reply on my part, but it’s been hooked into the 10amp INJ fuse near the top. It’s always worked for me But just be careful to make sure it’s properly seated because I think it’s for your injectors. I had an issue with the truck not wanted to start once and the loose wiring from the add a fuse was the culprit
Hey I bought some raptor lights and light up letter for the grill. Could I connect the raptor lights to 10A RHLO and the letters to the 10A LHLO so they can turn on with headlights?
Sorry the for the delayed response.. I’m not 100% sure and would need to monkey around with mine to say for certain. We’re you able to find a solution that worked?
Followed your instructions to the letter - They are connected, as per your video - Do they stay ON? - Logic tells me they do, which is problematic, connected directly to the battery - What am I missing?
Thanks for the video, I just installed my Raptor lights and they look great. The only thing is that the ground wire isn't long enough so I can't close the fuse box all the way.
My lights don't come on when my head lights are on auto also, is there another fuse that will bring the lights on when the engine is on, otherwise was a great how to video

My daughter took her 21 in because her headlight went out. Dealer told her because she had aftermarket lights that the headlight issue isn't under warranty. Took them out and went to a different dealer no problem. I had an issue with my DRL's not coming on in auto and I just made sure to take mine out before my service appt to avoid any issues like she had.
It does. Hasn’t pinched anything yet. Some have drilled a hole or ran the wire underneath the box where another bundle of wires is coming in, but it’s tight

Thanks Bro, this was helpful! The only step I got hung up on was putting into the fuse box. Had to apply some force to get it to click.

When I plug in my fuse is it ok too use both 10 amp fuses because mine didn’t come with a 15 amp one

I painted the OEM grill in a separate video. I don’t have the link handy at the moment but it’s on my page

When you installed the fuse in the DRL fuse, does it stay on for the options past DRL? Basically will it stay on as long as any forward light is on?
Yes mine come on for the day light running and headlights.

Where does the on off switch come into play? Do they run while lights or on auto?
I’ve got mine set to come on anytime the truck is on, so I don’t actually have a switch installed

Does it matter which plug goes into the light or use the same one that it's plugged into.
Sorry, I’m not sure that I understand your question. Each raptor light plugs into the harness, then you’ll connect ground and power

I can’t say for sure, but I also can’t imagine that it would. (It’s also very easy to remove if you were worried about it)

Right. Yeah it’s mean more to keep your cap from running on the paint. (I also never use it lol.)
