Really helpful video, thanks! I had a hell of a time getting the box in the fuse panel to come up far enough (the wire cluster from below was really tight), but I just barely managed it. Cheers, appreciate it!
I just did that today very helpful video specially looking for which fuse to use for the day light running. I went with the day running light (DRL) because I wanted the light to be on during the day it looks great. Thank you
i know Im asking randomly but does anybody know a trick to get back into an Instagram account? I somehow lost my password. I appreciate any assistance you can give me
@Milan Lee i really appreciate your reply. I found the site thru google and Im trying it out atm. Seems to take a while so I will reply here later when my account password hopefully is recovered.
You should've heat shrinked that butt splice and left yourself enough wire to route around the fuse panel, not through it. You've provided some good info here though, thanks.
Do you know what size ring terminal you used for the ground wire? I only had some #12-1/4” stud and they were way too big. Will need to run to autozone tomorrow
hey man i appreciate your video…i know its an older video but could you tell me why you didn’t use a relay switch and what’s the purpose to use one or not?
Why not just drill a small hole on the fuse box and run the wire through that way instead of taking fuse box wires loose. Also I've noticed with mines the added fuse adapter does not fit all the way in the spot where the 10 volt fuse was located. To me the whole Raptor light design is horrible. It should be Connected somewhere else on its own instead tapping into the fuse box.
Where should i plug them in case i want them to work with the DRL and not the headlights? But not ON all the time, only when i switch to Drl or auto Thank you
Hey man, what kind of spray paint did you end up using to cover the "Toyota" on your grill? I can't find the all-black TRD Offroad badges so I'm just gonna order the silver and red and just paint it.
Hey did I do something wrong as far as wiring, if I got to manually turn off my headlights? If I leave my headlights on “auto” it doesn’t shut off on its own when I go to turn my engine off
Yeah same here and I even tapped into the same fuse he did but my pro lights are turning on even when the truck is powered off. I was having the same results no matter which fuse I tapped in to
I’m not sure. I know the 4Runner is different. If you type in “RAV4 fuse box”and the year of your vehicle on UA-cam I’m sure someone will have a video of it
I see you got these from Toyota Pro Shop aka Yotaverse so I ordered a set because they snapped in for you easily unlike some of the cheaper ones out there. I got them today and tried installing them like your setup but the fitment was atrocious. They would be too loose installed in the middle above the logo and too tight at the ends placing stress on the the outer edge of the lights. Even a little trimming didn’t improve the fit. It was almost like the locking clips didn’t reach far enough toward the back of the grille to lock them in properly. Garbage in my opinion and for $60 bucks, borderline robbery. Now I have to pay a 25% stocking fee and shipping to return them.
Gotta be careful when watching some videos. Sometimes people get stuff for free if they do a video. I found the same problem with mine but the place I got them off of Amazon sent me a whole new set because one light faded on me. Using a little caulk and a file and I got mine to fit really nice. Good luck.
@@HPTaxidermy1 did you use 15 amp fuse on top and bottom 10? Isn’t supposed to be 5 amp fuse too and bottom the one you took which is 10 amp fuse. I’ve heard the top number should be lower than the fuse you took off. 0:50
Best video shows the wire run out the harness! Very smart!
This is one of the best install videos.
Thank you!!!!
Daytime Running lights make it look Tough And strong at all times that’s what I want .
Appreciate this, took a minute to get that door open on fuse box but much cleaner and waterproof
Really helpful video, thanks! I had a hell of a time getting the box in the fuse panel to come up far enough (the wire cluster from below was really tight), but I just barely managed it. Cheers, appreciate it!
Thank you!! Glad it worked out for you!👏🏽
By far the best video on this install! Thank you for showing what fuse is used for both options and how to route the wire
Thanks man!!
I just did that today very helpful video specially looking for which fuse to use for the day light running. I went with the day running light (DRL) because I wanted the light to be on during the day it looks great. Thank you
Good video that show how to place the wire so the fuse box cover can completely close.
amazing, once you closed the hood, the install looked suddenly clean
i know Im asking randomly but does anybody know a trick to get back into an Instagram account?

@Maxton Trevor instablaster :)
@Milan Lee i really appreciate your reply. I found the site thru google and Im trying it out atm.

@Milan Lee it did the trick and I finally got access to my account again. I'm so happy!
Thank you so much, you saved my account !
@Maxton Trevor Glad I could help xD

This video was very helpful and thank you for going into full detail for the install. Best raptor light install video!
Thank you I appreciate it!!
Great and informative video bro! Thank you.
great install vid. You ran the fuse box wires the same way i did.
I honestly think its the best way. It looks clean that way!
Do you know what size ring terminal you used for the ground wire? I only had some #12-1/4” stud and they were way too big. Will need to run to autozone tomorrow
Nice clear vid- ques/ never heard anybody say how long these lights last under normal use: if a light burns out/ be hard to just replace 1??

Only thing is. You wouldn't be able to switch it off unless you wired a switch to it
What did you use to ground the wire to the inner fender? My kit did not come with anything to mount.
Where should i plug them in case i want them to work with the DRL and not the headlights? But not ON all the time, only when i switch to Drl or auto
Thank you
Thank you so much, man this helped alot:)
Awesome!! You’re welcome
Can you share the link for those lights and wire !!!..
I went into that ten spot. And I lose my right headlight. If I remove the fuse for the raptors (15A), the headlight comes back on.
Do you have to add the 10 fuse? I didn't lights still came on but somehow my right headlight doesn't turn on now. Any idea. Thanks
this could be a stupid question but why does the plug has two fuses?
Hey man, what kind of spray paint did you end up using to cover the "Toyota" on your grill? I can't find the all-black TRD Offroad badges so I'm just gonna order the silver and red and just paint it.
I just used some heat resistant spray paint 👍🏼
Some of the aftermarket grilles just come black
Are your head lights strobe lights!??? If yes where did u get them??
No haha the camera makes them look that way
@@TacoManD4X4 damn they looked bad ass 🤣.
Hey, where can I get an add a fuse from. Please let know so I can do my truck.
Hey, you can get them from Autozone or O'rielly Auto Parts
I want to install 5 sets of those lights. Can i ? If so what’s the best way?
Amigo es urgente son compatibles con la tacoma sr5?
Will these lights fit a Toyota OEM Heritage Grille on my 2021 Tacoma?
Not TRD Pro Grille
No, they’re specifically for the pro grille
Doesn't the 2020 Pro have front camera? My 2020 TRD OR does.
My truck is an OR. I put TRD Pro referring to the style of grille 👍🏼 however, my OR is a 2020, but no front camera
finally got my grill do you know what size the ring terminal for the ground is?
Did you know if they voided any warranty ?
They don’t 🤙🏼
Does that trd grille have the space for front sensor and front camera? I have been looking for forever for that
Yep! I have mine installed on it and have no issues with it
got mine that came with the bracket for front camera and tss sensor cover from tacovinyl.com. i have had 0 issues with the sensor and camera
@@GabrielLopez-ku9cl nice yeah I got the taco vinyl one also
Can you put the Amazon link for the type of raptor lights you got?

Haha idk why the link is so long but those are the lights and website I purchased them from 👍🏼
Hey did I do something wrong as far as wiring, if I got to manually turn off my headlights? If I leave my headlights on “auto” it doesn’t shut off on its own when I go to turn my engine off
I ran into the same problem so i went with the 10a INJ fuse.
So i added lights to my grille but im having a problem with them staying on even when truck isn't running ?
Yeah same here and I even tapped into the same fuse he did but my pro lights are turning on even when the truck is powered off. I was having the same results no matter which fuse I tapped in to
Where you can buy those I mean can you buy those at Amazon.
Yeah I’m sure Amazon has them. I got mine from Toyotaproshop.com
Thank you sir
You can tap into the inj fuse to make them come on with the DRLs and you cms have them on without the DRLs on
Would the fuse box and wiring on a 2020 rav4 be similar?
I’m not sure. I know the 4Runner is different. If you type in “RAV4 fuse box”and the year of your vehicle on UA-cam I’m sure someone will have a video of it
What’s up man can u post the link of what add a fuse to buy ?
Yes, I’ll get that for you momentarily 👍🏼
Hey man, I purchased the Add-A-Fuse from O’Reilly Auto Parts. It’s called “Low Profile Mini Add-A-Circuit” the brand is Littlefuse.
TacoMan
Where did you buy the kit for the 4 amber lights ?
I just saw this my bad dude. I got mine from Toyota pro shop
does the kit come with the add a fuse?
Unfortunately they do not. I purchased mine from Autozone for a couple dollars though.
Does anyone know if these can be installed in a Highlander 2020?
I’m sure they have some for the Highlander 👍🏼
Wish you could do my truck
Did you disconnect the battery at all during this?
No
For some reason my don’t snap into place??!?
Will this fit a 2021 TRD Pro

I just tried to use the same fuse location for the headlight and it cuts out my headlight
Really!? What size fuse??
@@TacoManD4X4 I figured out my problem...I only put one fuse in it...added both fuses and works fine now. 🤦🏻♂️
