Thank you for your reply my friend. I found out that the fuse box actually has a small area with a release tab that allows a one to two inch section of the box to slide out and reveals a small hole to run wires then you can close the section. Of course the lid has to be off. It’s located on front left area of fuse box just below the lip. Pretty cool!
Greetings, again. 5:35 that top fuse is the one I used three months ago. everything ok until yesterday. Check engine light came on, O2 sensor fault and dealership said the add-a-circuit fuse tap was the reason and charged me $447. There's a vid on my channel, Added LEDs...Void Warranty, for more details. If you can I'd appreciate you input. In fact it was this video that gave me the confidence to do the lights and subscribe to you.!
I installed smoked white lights to the OEM grill of my 23 TRD Soort and put the add a fuse into the headlight fuse spot. I like that they come on with the headlights but if I could find a fool proof way to connect them so that the lights were on when the DRLs are on and not mess something up and void a warranty I’d probably do that. But the lights look great on your truck and on mine.
There is a way to run the wire in a way so it doesn't punch the wire. I didn't do that though. Haha. The wire is thin and doesn't seem to be pinched much and the cover still closed firmly.
@@DJXPLRS I ran my wire up through the bottom of the fuse box rear left corner when looking down on it from front to of truck. Was pretty easy to do and saw it on another UA-cam channel.
Just added raptor lights to my OEM grille. Your video gave me great ideas and confidence. BTW: the kit I bought came with the lights installed into the adaptor brackets. However not marked but you pointed out the corner angle for next to the emblem.
Hey DJ, I highly recommend doing the alpharex LED sequential headlights. I got mine from YotaGarage but there's a few places you can get them. Super highly quality and adds a mean front end look. Plus you can see everything at night and the DRLs are phenomenal. Also does dancing headlight start when lock/unlocking the truck and starting it. Careful with your raptor lights, some brands end up getting water trapped in them and killing the lights quick.
Considering adding Raptor lights to my Tacoma at some point. However, the custom made brackets are no longer available on Etsy. There are some kits on Amazon that are specifically made for the 2020+ TRD OR/Sport grille, but the reviews are iffy. Some say they are great, and others say they don't fit snuggly into the grille.
@@DJXPLRS Late reply but kits for the TRD Sport/OR grille are available all over Amazon and probably ebay now. I did buy an amber set off Amazon for ~$40 some months back that were easy to install. Only thing is the retaining clips were pretty garbage. A bird flew in front of my grille and broke the clips on one set of lights a week or so after installation and had to ziptie it in place. Ended up removing them awhile ago.
Nice look. I’m interested in what you do for the headlights and fog lights. If you go LED will you replace the high and low beams or just the low beams?
No. I didn't wire them thst way. Mine come on with the headlights. To have them come on with the running lights all you need to do is plug it into a different fuse spot. Way easy.

Hey thanks for video. I did not see which fuse you used.
I plugged it the fuse with the headlights. That way the Raptor lights come on with the auto headlights
Very helpful video!
Glad it was helpful!
You didn’t show how you reinstalled your fuse box lid in terms of the wire getting pinched by lid or did you cut a notch etc.?
I just tucked the wire so the lid sorta of pinches it. But it doesn't pinch much and works really good.
Thank u sir this was really helpful much appreciated it keep doing what ur doing sir
Glad it helped
Can u add those lights with the SR5 version if u changed the grille?
Yea

does not work on a 2023 OEM grill - thoughts?
I have that same grill. You'll need the brackets off of somewhere like Etsy. That's where I got mine.
How do the lights get turned on?
Mine are tied to my headlights. Wheny headlights go on or off, so do the raptor lights.
I have a SR5. Site says it won’t fit. 21 model for reference
Do you have the OEM honeycomb style grill? That's what I have in the TRD offroad.
@@DJXPLRS I have the flat grill lol. Looks like I’ll have to upgrade
That first fuse you pointed at, is the injectors on the 2019
Yeah. But then I got it right
Great video I just ordered my raptor lights smoked amber & 3b makers clips I can't wait to do the install. how are your lights & clips holding up ?
They're holding up great! No problems at all.
Great video sir really appreciate it thank you keep up the good work nuff respect 👍 👍 🙏
Thank you. I truly appreciate the support.
Looks really nice! Can this same set up be fitted on a 21’ 4 Runner sr5 Premium on the OEM grill?!
Thanks in advance ! 🥳
I'm not 100% sure about that grill. Sorry.
Did you replace the fuse box cover over the wire? Did the cover securely latch? I’m concerned that the cover may pinch the wire?

Thanks for the info. I'll check out the Alpharex LEDs.
You’re awesome. Thank you! Doing mine right now.
That's awesome
looks good. You'll have to let us know how the lights hold up.
Thanks. Will do. I'll post an update in a few months.

That's too bad the brackets aren't available.

Just installed these. They are not very bright during the day. Looks good though in the evening, night.
I don't have them connected to my daytime running lights, so they only turn on at night
Yea, those lights are a great addition for an easy install 👍
Thanks. I'm happy with how they turned out.
Could u give update on those 3b maker bracket cause I had the same thing n it falling off when I Hit a bump so I had to apply some gorilla super glue
I'll do an update after a few more weeks to let everyone know how they're holding up.
Looks bad ass
Thanks. I'm loving the look!🔥
mine came with a blue 15 fuse what do i do?
Get a dual fuse adapter, that works best.
@@DJXPLRS i jusg relaise i got them for the wrong year truck
You know you coulda just went with LED Factory Mart, right? They make raptor lights specifically for oem grills.
True.

Are these legal sir?
They are in Utah. Other state laws may vary.
Legal in Vermont too
*_Raptor lights on a Taco? Next will be the FAKE TRD PRO Stickers?_*
Haha. Technically Raptor light have 3 amber lights, I added 4 white lights. So it's a different look.
