I used INJ spot too on my 2020 TRD OR with no issues , works great!
It doesn’t turn on randomly like every 4 hours or 4 hours after driving.
Got my raptor light today, installed them in 10 mins tops! Looks great!
Raptor lights have been one of my favorite mods so far! I've had my raptor lights powered via the INJ fuse for the past 3-4 months and it has held up great with no issues. I like the INJ fuse because there is no automatic emission check so I don't have to worry about the lights randomly coming on and draining my battery lol 👍

I order the 2023 trd pro. Iam not have any issue when the drl turn signal lights turn on ? I hope not. because the explain was great.
No need for a ground wire attached to wall of body? Also, would light snap into a OEM pro grill? Some brand said it’ll only work on after market grill.
As I'm installing mine, I noticed he forgot to mention it. If you look closely it looks like the ground was already attached to a point where the battery's ground is. At 10:58, at the very right end of the shot, you see a bolt with a wire going off from it directly under it. I believe that's where they decided to mount it. R4T does include a ground wire so it's only logical that it needs to go somewhere to ground the lights. I'm gonna try it there and I'll comment again to let you know if I'm right.

Your raptor lights get faulty after 6-8 months. I had switched twice and same results. Usually one of the lights flickers or gives out
I have the 3 lights add-a-fuse setup for my 2019 TRD PRO for about almost a year now? No problems whatsoever. Thinking about getting the 4 lights with the DRL setup when you guys aren't so backed up.
Does anyone know if an add-a-fuse can be added to the interior fuse box and still allow the interior fuse cover to be installed?

Had an issue where I try to plug into the top row, as it turns out the connectors for the individual lights that you guys have now are too big to fit into the gaps, I was able to find a solution and I’m using a Dremel to cut notches to allow them to fit on the top row.
I don’t know I ordered from you guys the grill lights but I have two wires going to the fuse box total of four fuses

I just got the Cali raised kit with extra fuse and looks like I have to cut the positive due to having a connector like the ground does.

After looking at the the harness closely. The DRL factory plug only has 3 wires, the R4T harness appears to have 4 wires. Maybe this is the issue??
We found out half of them have manufacturer issues with one wire so we will be replacing them, please email support@runnin4tacos.com if they have issues

i had the one with the ad-fuse , but yesterday i got the one that connects to the dlr , its better the head lights dont have to turn on for the grill lights to be on

I connected to the DRL 10amp fuse with my add a fuse as I really wanted the raptor lights to be on without the headlights but on that fuse my raptor lights would be on without car on. Is this why in the video they went with the ign fuse?
Can you easily change out lens to a smoked lens if you already have amber cover?
I’m having trouble getting the bungle of wires to come out of the fuse box so I can add the wire. Is there another video that is more specific regarding how to do this?
Unfortunately there is not. There is a tab you have to move to one side to slide up. Shine light down there and you'll see the tab

Which side of the fuse is load (12v power) and which is source (ground) for the add a fuse direction? I don’t have a volt meter :/ also for the inside under steering wheel fuse box? Is this standard for most Toyota’s fuse load and source sides? I have a 2014 Prius gen 2. Thank u!
I believe the left side of the add a fuse is the +12V side. The right side (where the wire is located) is the source side.

When you need to purchase an add an fuse kit for the raptor lights. is the ( add a fuse ) kit all the same or is there a specific size you need to connect the wiring? are the fuses suppose to lock in place? The add a fuse I bought, just doesn't seen to be right ? Can you offer some suggestions as to what size and style I am supposed to pick out from a auto parts store? Please.

Can you guys please re-post the t-tap video? I’m assuming you took it down to summarize everything in this video. The step by step instructions from that video for the t tap install was super helpful. I got all geared up to go that route and noticed the video was taken down.

How can it be wired with the Fog Lamps turned on? Would like them off during the daytime. And also not always on with the low beams unless I use the fogs…

You can use the fog light fuse or use a t-tap into the wires on the fog lights

I wired my ‘19 TRD Off Road using an “add a fuse” with a 15 amp fuse on top (which came already in it) and a 10 amp fuse on bottom. I plugged the fuse into the Ignition fuse location and have been getting a “maintenance required soon” light. It may be completely unrelated, or nothing at all. Could you share the link for that trd DRL harness?

Tap into a wire that gets power when the engine is in like a headlight wire or a side marker wire
I have a 2020 4runner TRD Off Road. I want to hook up my Raptor lights to come on with the FOG lights only. Will the adapter you showed for the DRL work to tie in the the lights to the Fog lights instead? If not any suggestions?
Yeah, just use the fog fuse
@@Runnin4Tacos I tried that first. The switch for the fog lights must be on the other side of the fuse/relay. The Raptor lights stayed on all the time not just when fog lights were on. I guess I'll try tapping into a fog light wire and use an in-line fuse for the raptor lights. I only want them on with the fog lights.

Can I go tap into the efi injector! That’s wat I did only thing I notice it will come on after an hour for about 45 seconds and shuts off again
Mine too but I don’t think it’s a problem unless they literally don’t shut off

Nothing is necessary to wire to the drl. Just wire splce

You need to make people aware the the add a fuse only works with the headlight fuse on all 2020 push start Taco’s. If you’re ok with the light only turning on with the headlights then good. But if you want them to turn on with the DRL you’ll need to splice into the DRL orange wire. I did. Works perfect. But the add a fuse will not work. I tried it and the fuse box has constant power. Except the headlight fuse. Cheers.
I just now used the add-a-fuse in my 2021 (not 2020) Taco offroad w/push button start - used the same 10A injector fuse noted in the video - worked just fine.

fuse could have came broken or faulty, I believe a 5 is sufficient for the lights
