Just picked up my 22' Tacoma Limited one week ago - absolutely love it! Bought the interior LED kit off Amazon and wanted to thank you so much for this great instructional video! BTW....this is my first pick up truck and after only 1 week I now understand why it is so popular!
Bought a kit off Amazon, and in the instructions that came with the kit the map lights are labeled as the plate lights and vice versa!? So when I got to it and installed and wasn’t working I found your vid as saw that you installed the “plates” looking lights as map lights and worked. So I did the same and bingo!! Thx for the video idk what the seller was thinking labeling crap the wrong way 🤦🏻♂️ Also, map lights was a struggle for my Twinkie fingers to get out!! Jeeez 😂
I'm glad you posted this. In another vid, the guy took out the entire unit to replace the map lights. I figured you only needed to pop out covers. Thanks! Update: Just installed all new LED bulbs. Took about 10 minutes. Duct tape trick on map bulbs worked perfectly. Thanks again for a clear/concise video!
Forgot to mention you should remove the fuse before because you blow the fuse when doing vanity’s. Great idea for pulling out those map lights. So easy for something that could be so complicated if you didn’t know how to

So I switched the zone bulb with the LED which worked fine, then I tried switching the bulbs in front, center and BOOM, that is when it blew out a the fuse. So now the zone and front lights are out along with the clock on the dashboard above the stereo (08 Xtreme). Thanks man, I'll work on the fuse, hoping that is all it is...
I like your seat colors. Do the front seats have seat covers on them? If so, are the seat covers Neoprene? and Do they come in one piece for the back and seat portion of the seat and one piece for the head rest?
@WesleyAllenNC did any of the trim leveled of the 3rd gen Tacoma comes with a door lights? And what about the third brake lights? Are they factory led or incandescent lights?
Sorry for the late reply. I've never experienced an issue like that before. I know the tag lights were the hardest ones to install due to little working room for your hands, but once installed, no issues to report.
Make sure your map switch above the gear shifter is turned on. Took me 30 minutes to figure out why I couldn’t get power to my dome light 🤦🏽♂️@@HighlightOfficial
The tail lights: you're supposed to just turn about 1/8-turn counterclockwise to take it out; & to do the opposite, i.e. clockwise to re-secure it. It's not easy either since you don't have leverage with such a tight space.

There is a much easier way to get the nap lights in and out. The whole assembly pops out and they are installed from the back
