I just can’t believe all the stuff you have crammed in your brain!!! I know I have. Said it before, but your father would be so proud, impressed and happy you turned out so much like him!!!
It might just be the angle of view but it almost looked like you had the flywheel set at the “F” mark while adjusting that first set of valves. I always have difficulty getting the resistance to stay ‘just right’ when re-tightening the nuts.
I didn’t have the camera set up properly for some of the shots so I used what was best to ’show' how it was done. A right angle screw driver might work better. Thanks for watching and commenting!
I own a 2020 Goldwing DCT Tour. Simply to say, incredible machine. I do almost everything in my garage I am still not sure about doing clearance adjustment. Never done that. I got a quote for 700.00 by my dealer. I might just let them do it. I don't do heavy miles per year and so, don't think its worth it for me.
The service manual I have for my 83 says to use T-1 for both sides. But of course at 360 from each other. You used T-2. I'm confused. I tend to agree with you, but the service manual should be right?
Oh wow! You are right! After doing the first four valves, you rotate 360 deg and stop on T1 again! I am going to look into this. I may have to readjust my second 4 valves. 😔 Thanks for catching that!
