I dont know if this will help but you can open the door before the cop arrives and he lets himself in without knocking or asking. If he can't see you he should still see the wife and get shocked (I was in the cupboard when I tested this) you will still need to read the book at some point though but as you can skip dialogue would this help it go faster?
The whole time while I was playing this game I was thinking "I wonder how people will speedrun this". With a game like this where there are just rigid story lines and dialogue combinations, surely there's an absolute limit to how fast it can be?
Why not click on "Maybe it's better we are not together" in Flashback 2 since you lost control immediately and then the game ends, you get ending 3 and it might still be falls under any% You would have saved 1 minute
One thing I don't know how to avoid is getting kiss by your wife. It takes like 10 seconds. One thing you can do is go to sleep but you can't drug your wife.
