Imagine being some super important individual who has narrowly escaped multiple assassination attempts just to die to some guy who launched a stick of C4 through your window while gliding down the street on a muffin.
This game has one of the most interesting speedrunning scenes I’ve ever seen in my life, and at the end of the day it still feels very hitman with the amount of precise input and perfect timing needed to pull it off. Truly an awesome feat
I still can't get over the fact that everyone who heard some shots at an undisclosed location prioritize that over a bald man running at them with a Sniper Rifle
"Out of the way gunman - we have to find where those shots came from!" Absolutely amazing video! I've seen these speedruns already, but finally understanding what's actually happening makes them infinitely better!
What's funny is the panic shot mechanics were deliberately added in Hitman 2 in a patch to make sniping your targets actually viable. Before the patch, if you used a sniper rifle to kill a target, the guards would just telepathically know it was you somehow, so even if you packed up your rifle and ran a good distance away, if the guards saw you, they immediately knew it was you and open fire. They patched it so that the guards would ignore you and instead run to the spot where the shots came from, and now speedrunners can abuse the hell out of it as you see here.
Honestly, I wouldn't either! The people who come up with these strategies combine creativity with an insane amount of game knowledge to come up with the end results. I still have so much to learn about this game :)
You would though, but that’s the thing you think like that because you don’t play it. But if you did and tried you would actually be able to learn them but they seem so insanely confusing and complicated when you don’t understand it.
@@Lee-One yeah but then u would get bored an then forget everything u learned in the process. I use to be able to speedrun botw under 28 minutes but after a break, I can't even get under 35 minutes.

I always thought “How the hell did these guys get times under a minute?” whenever I checked the leaderboard. Now after watching this video I am absolutely shocked how fast missions can be done.
I watched an IGN Speedrun video on Hitman 3 iirc and realized that Hitman's maps, while convoluted have the targets sometimes walk in front of your just out of your sight especially when you are starting the map and you can, in fact, kill them in seconds if you know where they are going to be. It's great.
The context and structure of this video is so well done. Makes it watchable for anyone. Most speedrun genre videos aren’t broken down or explained because they are for people who already follow or know terminology or the game. Good job.
Hitman 3 with the full trilogy is possibly the most fun sandbox i’ve ever played. Legit everything is possible and it’s hilarious and satisfying to pull the stunt off.
Love this! I honestly think more speedrunners should do videos like this because even if you're entertained it can be hard to understand what's going on if you're new. Great video :)

I cannot believe how creative runners are with these games. It takes such a high level of creativity, planning and practice. That bomb launch at the start of Paris is one of the coolest tricks I've ever seen in any game. The flexibility of the World of Assassination trilogy (and the entire franchise, but especially WoA) is mindblowing. The fact that you can take 2 hours to slowly figure out an incredibly complex set of actions for success, run in guns blazing and run out, or somehow figure out these 9 million IQ speed strats, and have them all be viable, is just incredible.
There’s just something about these style of videos. I’ve always loved the way wirtual formats his videos and I’m glad to see that format breaking out into other speedrunning games.
Not sure if it's intentional, but his voice lines are in tune with the background music, almost as it's the music lyrics. This style of music always got me distracted when watching explanation videos. But here, it actually helped me focus on the video, from beginning to end. Great work!

That's a major part of the beauty here: they *didn't* see all that. By the rules of the game's world, they're all witnessing explosive chaos all around them. Then suddenly up to four people in vastly different locations either got shot, crushed, shocked, or exploded, with the killer vanishing before anyone even discovers that someone died just now. Bro same! Some of the maps were so inconsistent I completely gave up (this was many months ago, shortly after Atrioc's first hitman speedrun video). Hopefully the community can really get a boost in numbers because of this!
I mean panic shots do somewhat make sense if you think about it, when most people get shot, they don't expect their shooter to be calmly jogging right past them, they're going to think that the shooter is trying to stay hidden. If they didn't see who shot them, they aren't going to assume it's the first person they see who's not particularly close to where the person shot from.
I found myself repeatedly shaking my head and grimacing but still simultaneously laughing and muttering "WTF man...." Great video! Hilarious and completely insane strats. Subscribed!
phenomenal video. i’ve always found it hard to get into running trilogy even if i can figure out a couple of the strats because sometimes there’s just little things you can’t see on a run, this is so helpful!

This video was insanely entertaining and masterfully explained. Diving in very deep while somehow still keeping it light and easy to understand. Fastest 44 minutes of my life.
Thanks for explaining sappi, i always thought the panic shots alerted all the guards making you lose SA/SO and killing franchesca to regain it was some weird jank. It makes WAY more sense now and learning how it works increases my love for this game and its speedruns even more
You're like the FriendlyBaron of Hitman runners (and I mean that respectfully)! Well edited and incredibly detailed with your videos, and importantly super fun and engaging to watch.
This was the first video I ever watched from your channel and I keep coming back to it! It’s so well thought out and concise yet entertaining. Instantly subbed! Crazy good video mate
That was very impressive, most other speed runners don't explain what they are doing while you explained everything. I very much appreciate that!! I love your content!! Have a great day :)
12:25 I know you explained what happens here, but I just find it so funny that they see the camera get shot up, almost immediately turn around to see a guy running toward them with a sniper rifle in his hands, and neither of them find it at all suspicious.
Thanks for adding enbys to the salutations at the end :) My partners are nonbinary, and it means a lot to me to see such inclusive language out in the wild!
I literally just watched your hitman trilogy video from last may, then I saw this newer version just posted. It's insane how much the speedrun has changed in over a year with all these tiny optimisations adding up. Great stuff, and it was cool for having the same music on train for each video.
Nice video, it was interesting to see the different tricks and how seemingly non-chalant your distractions for the guards were, even though we know they weren't so simple. I will say that I wish this video didn't simply use the common songs in Summoning Salt's video soundtracks, I would've much preferred some music from Hitman (assuming it has some) or some other background music with an aesthetic similar to hitman.
I picked up Hitman 3 a while ago and I was generally fascinated by Cheru and Modest Pelican by their skill when breezing through incredibly secure areas without anyone noticing, I never even considered people speed running
I opened this with the intention to watch a little bit but before i knew it 40 minutes passed and now i know more about hitman than i ever thought i would in my life. Great video. Love speedrunning stuff
You runners are starting to believe so hard I genuinely feel like it's only a matter of time before you guys can start to jump across buildings like Neo in the Matrix. This is so impressive, my god! I also got a lot of tips on how to play Hitman, lovely!
the Summoning Salt music at the end is a great touch lmao. really cool video, great explanations and a really interesting look into the madness that hitman speedruns are
I was literally talking about hitman with a friend yesterday and this got reccomended to me. More specifically we briefly mentioned speedrunners in this game. This and your video are absolutely mental.

If they didn't see who shot them, they aren't going to assume it's the first person they see who's not particularly close to where the person shot from.
It never ceases to amaze me at just how creative people get to beat a game. I’d never thought of any of this in a million years.
I really loved that you explained everything, people tend to not do that so learning why speedrunners do what they do really helps me understand it.
I'm just glad this game is still being played! It is such a creative endeavor! So many ways to do things, fast or slow.
awesome gameplay! Those strats are incredible. I was so happy when the Summoning Salt music came on 😁
Hitman's my favorite game and its fascinating to see where the community has taken it. Speedruning is one of the things I've never tried, but I'm definitely looking forward to it.
I originally saw the timestamp and felt discouraged, but your video was so well made I was hooked. I loved learning some of the skills and tips used. Nice video :)
Fabulous video mate. Honestly the first speedrun video I've ever watched, and you've set the bar very high. I'm off to your channel to sink my teeth into more of your content!
"i'll be using a segmented run"
thank you for saying so. so many others would have lied. mad props.
One thing I love about this vid and the sequel to it are the thumbnails! Maybe a odd compliment but they are so simple yet eye catching, adds to the already amazing content. Keep up the good work mate 👍
This is just an excellent video. Informative and well edited with zoom across the maps and all. Very well done sir.
As a long time big a watcher who has been seeing you grow from the beginning, it's cool to see all of this new viewership and a vid really skyrocket like this. Nice job Aspect
as someone who's replayed all of these levels so many times it was cool to see the crazy speed running tricks. Thanks for the hard work on the vid
What an incredibly comprehensive and well made video.
It makes WAY more sense now and learning how it works increases my love for this game and its speedruns even more
didn't even realize until halfway through that this is aspecticor!! well done, i love speedrunning explained vids
You're like the FriendlyBaron of Hitman runners (and I mean that respectfully)! Well edited and incredibly detailed with your videos, and importantly super fun and engaging to watch.
Shoot everything and everyone, refuse to elaborate and come out as a silent assassin. Brilliant
"and enbies" thank you for making me feel included. love the video!!!
was looking for this comment! this is so nice to hear in youtube videos
what does enbies mean?
"so ladies, gentlemen, and enbies..." awesome content, and inclusive too! awesome vid!
Astonishing! Messing with the AI in this game casually is so much fun - it's truly impressive seeing what an expert can pull off!
love the content super informative for non speed runnners as a gamer the work of speed runners is almost like a work of art
This was the first video I ever watched from your channel and I keep coming back to it! It’s so well thought out and concise yet entertaining. Instantly subbed! Crazy good video mate
Very awesome video. With your explanations, it really felt like I was watching a very well narrated GDQ run.
That was very impressive, most other speed runners don't explain what they are doing while you explained everything. I very much appreciate that!! I love your content!! Have a great day :)
43:20 !
Man, this whole journey has been fun. But at this mark, it sends a whole different level of good vibe. Instant subscribe!
I love how strangely useful the blueberry muffin is
12:25 I know you explained what happens here, but I just find it so funny that they see the camera get shot up, almost immediately turn around to see a guy running toward them with a sniper rifle in his hands, and neither of them find it at all suspicious.
Who would use a sniper at that distance? Nah, it had to be someone he's running away from.
Really appreciate all the work you put into this. Super helpful, entertaining to watch, and makes me wanna learn this route. Thanks Aspect 💙
Glad you enjoyed it! :)
@@Aspecticor What music did you use? Can you share your track list?
@@Aspecticor its maya _parvati_ not pavarti.. js.
Thanks for sharing. I’ve never seen a run of Hitman, but it looks really fun. Although, you make it look easy, the skill involved is unbelievable.
Yeah, it is still best play hitman slowly.
Doctors “smoking will kill you”
Agent 47 “damn that’s a good idea”
Agent 47 "now where is a gas leak"
Thanks for adding enbys to the salutations at the end :)
My partners are nonbinary, and it means a lot to me to see such inclusive language out in the wild!
I will say that I wish this video didn't simply use the common songs in Summoning Salt's video soundtracks, I would've much preferred some music from Hitman (assuming it has some) or some other background music with an aesthetic similar to hitman.
very well produced video, you did a great job explaining all of the strats
I picked up Hitman 3 a while ago and I was generally fascinated by Cheru and Modest Pelican by their skill when breezing through incredibly secure areas without anyone noticing, I never even considered people speed running
This is one on the best UA-cam videos I’ve seen this year you should make more vids like this
I opened this with the intention to watch a little bit but before i knew it 40 minutes passed and now i know more about hitman than i ever thought i would in my life.
This and your video are absolutely mental.
that little ladies gentleman and enbys really just made me happy as an enby just feeling a little left out thank you so so so much
i'm going to choose to believe these are canonically how 47 completed each mission
Damn our boy Aspect out here getting 750k views already what a GOAT
the absolute banger music just adds to the entertainment.
It's crazy that I saw you start out last year on big a's channel, now you have him beaten on views with a great video
first time watchin your channel but already a big fan from what i see! a really wonderful and informative video, with very neat editing not to mention the bonkers game play. i haven't even PLAYED hitman, but this vid makes me want to try running it? which is incredible! really bang up job!
The only thing that I've learned from this video is that a blue berry muffin is the swiss army knife of hitman
I never get bored of watching how games get speedran
