I used to watch a guy play this game back in the day In it made me really want the game I did eventually get it on console (where it's a bit different than on PC where certain items actually change (what I mean is that certain items can be illegal on the console port compared to on the PC side) also some other things such as keys change and certain starts don't work on console But I still beat all the main prisons which are still somewhat similar I also did played the 2nd game once it came out to consoles though I never did beat it fully This game is super cool because there isn't many like it Hell there aren't any like it And it's still one of my favorite game franchises ever And it's super fun to play trough

the order of keys that guards hold is actually entirely dependent on the order of the guards shown when you start the prison and are given the option to name everyone. the first guard in the list is the head guard, who holds the yellow cell key and is the one who calls roll every day. the second and third guards in the list hold the green work key and the orange utility key, and they follow the head guard to the routine areas. the fourth guard in the list holds the red staff key (generally the most useful of the keys) and the fifth guard in the list holds the purple entrance key. the other guards don't hold any keys.
I so remember tricks like these being shared like little secrets back in the day lol. Kinda reminds you of old minecraft where no one know how things worked

Only real big flaw of yours, is that you can use upgradable level shovel/pick/cutters until it 1 use before break and then if you upgrade it, item will be restored to 100 percent condition. Hence, doubling the amount of chopped tiles per tool. Yet, perfect execution in everything and cool video, good time watching and reup on nostalgia about this game.

I dont know if this is well known or not, but I used to complete prison 2 (snowy one) within a minute or so by just beating the guards on the first roll call and getting the keys to escape; this was on mobile

Hey, this is a good video, you should try doing a proper speedrun with up to date strats: the game can be beat in like 3 minutes with glitches. Itd be hella cool to see a follow up video if you learn the new strats in the community discord. Theres a ton of interesting glitches that would make great content if you cover them, and you could do a full 100% + dlc run to make a long enough video. The glitches let you do things like spawn any craftable item, dupe items, and clip through walls. I think this would make a great watch and the discord link can be found on src iirc im 5th on the 100% leaderboard for reference

a guard can't put you in solitary for having a brick/key in your inventory, only if they are dropped on the ground (or in the case of keys, when the guard wakes up and notices his key is gone)

Um the speedrun for center percs is easy. All u gotta do is get ur workout stats pretty high, then u got to knock out the police. Then u will get a letter from the warden telling you to just leave and stop beating the cops
I has no idea you could still play the first game (All escapes are harder in the second game except the first one and the transportation ones) (You cant just knockout the guards and dip)

You actually need flimsy scisors to escape on day one if you use knives you will escape after midnight
He could optimize it even more with some RNG to recruit as many inmates as possible and to get at least 1 duct tape so that he can attack guards with his crew
You can also escape day 1 by taking a rake and knocking out enough guards during morning rollcall, then running down to the exit

I never knew that the rope and bed sheet rope had uses, never ocurred to me to tie up guards, and the bed rope i thought would be to climb fences
Well rope can also be used to make a grappling hook to climb down from the roof and the sheet rope can be used to climb to higher places on the roof.
