On Kinetic Manifesto live at Jimmy Fallon Grand Central Station 🤯🤯💜💜 BTS always has a message Rapline is always on point 👌👌 Cant wait till you get to their live performances 🤯🤯💜💜 Just turn the cc on. IT has subtitels
This MV has lots of movie references from lion king to maze runner and from game of thrones and bird box to even biblical references like the thorns around Jungkooks wrists to noahs ark. This MV just amazes me every time i watch it. (My fave bit of the song is junkooks solo but fav bit of the mv is the dance break where its like they are fighting of the evil as when they go back to the wall, it opens and V takes of the little girls blindfold so she can see that the bad in the world has gone and been replaced with the good) also there are blade runner and also lion King refferecnce too
As everyone else has said, turn on subtitles. They have moving, thoughtful and inspirational messages in their songs. And yes, you have seen everybody, everybody had a part. 😐ARMY didn't fail him. He isn't listening 🤦♀ the only reaction I've seen of his is Mic Drop . I went back & checked the comments. A handful of ARMY talked about ON. They definitely gave the right name for the MV & 90% of the comments included (and I'm paraphrasing here) TURN ON THE FREAKINIG CC's!!! There's an old saying...You can lead a horse to water, but if you hold their head underwater, apparently, it's murder. Stay Gold chingu

It's very rare for people to react to this music video . This MV is so underrated. Normally, people react to the performance video of this song since there's more dancing while in this one there's more storytelling, a lot of symbolism and references(and a lot of people get lost lol) . One thing to take note of when reacting to BTS is the lyrics...their music is nothing without lyrics. They're one of the few artists of today who pay attention to what they sing/rap about and the reason their fanbase consists of people of all ages and backgrounds is because of the subject matters they address in their lyrics. I would have wished you turned on the subs for the lyrics since you will get a glimpse of what the song is about that way. But no problem. Anyways, this music video as I have mentioned has a lot of symbolism and references that correspond to what the song is about(too bad you didn't turn on the cc), so I would like to recommend 2 videos that will explain the music video as well as the lyrics(because their lyrics are often multi-layered). Every single scene has meaning. The videos I recommend are: "BTS - ON Explained By A Korean" by the channel "DKDKTV" , and "BTS - ON MV Full Analysis" by the channel "Bookish Theories". Honestly I prefer the "Bookish Theories" explanation on this one because it's so extensive, but I recommend both videos by both channels. That's if you are interested though.
Well you don't need to understand them to get the message unless the person is kind of closed up i guess. BTS's lyrics are amazing and everything but that is not everything. They make you feel it without you needing to understand them. They overall are great artists people shouldn't always just focus on lyrics..It really makes me sad that the only reason people don't want to listen to it is because they want to understand them. Music isn't just about that...as someone who has played the flute and loves to dance without a professional(for the flute I had) just feeling the music made me more of an army than just reading lyrics that wasn't the thing that made me fall in love with them.
I like the fact that you watch these without the lyrics and can get the feel of things without it. Most reactors watch with lyrics but I find that can distract from everything else. You can always look up lyrics afterwards since they always have great lyrics and meanings as well. Thanks for a great reaction 👍🏽and hope you have fun on your BTS journey 💜
Lyrics are a MUST for BTS, they a ton of deep metaphor and brilliant wordplay that deserves recognition! I saw an article called BTS and Spirituality that maintains that all of their recordings make up this huge epic story. I don’t have all their work yet since I’m fairly new to K-POP but it sounds very plausible to me given that their work does send messages about self love and positivity.

Ppl normally react to “on kinetic manifesto” so surprised to see this one lol but both are cool… fire is a great song and also idol…. But especially live… please check them out live! I guarantee you’re going to be extremely impressed and their energy is just on another level live… all the voices sound so much better live too
It is one of my first songs three years ago when they released MAP OF THE SOUL 7, it's not the one I like the most, but it's really special. 🙏💜💜💜💜💜💜💜🇲🇽🇲🇽🇲🇽🇲🇽🇲🇽
Thanks so much for reacting to our Bangtan boys! 💜 You are pretty spot on with your interpretation. Here's a note from Doolset (Army's most trusted source for English translations of BTS lyrics) on one of my favorite lines: “'Where my pain lies, let me take a breath.” But, 숨 쉬게 하소서 (please let me breathe) is not about pausing or a one-time activity of breathing in and out. It is closer to a statement - a declaration that he is determined to exist where his pain lies, accepting the pain instead of being afraid of and running away from it."
I love your reactions, you're one of the only ones who doesn't pause the music, you always leave your opinion until the end, and that's perfect🤍 we react with you seeing your reactions XD
This song is part of their Map of the Soul series, which is based on Carl Jung's philosophy. (possible spoilers and/or a matter of opinion) BTS lyrics allow for many interpretations, but the most popular reading is that it's about a person's journey of self-discovery and how pain and struggle help us find our strengths and who we really are. So bring the pain on. There are some explanations for what Jung's map of the soul is all about that you can read or watch, if you're interested.
In case ARMY hasn't informed you yet they did a epic music video in LA of ON and performed ON in Grand Central Terminal. Those are performances you really shouldn't miss.
A great overview is this medley they did last year, does one song from each album, a great overview of their versatility and skill amounts the rap and vocal line: 2021 Festa room live: ua-cam.com/video/RRhjdYsNwAk/v-deo.html Overview on their journey: ua-cam.com/video/0KonKFssKnM/v-deo.html About the members: ua-cam.com/video/huV_yIdxZPY/v-deo.html Make sure to turn on captions! For looking deeper into lyrics, look them up online on doolset BANGTAN. Be careful saying they are a boyband haha.
These are awesome suggestions. I would recommend the Bangtan Subs version of the FESTA video though, because it includes subtitles to their commentary, and fact checked subtitles. BTS Room Live #2021BTSFESTA (NO need for CC's) - ua-cam.com/video/-J-IM2hLBUc/v-deo.html
The really cool thing about BTS is, no matter how good the studio version is, somehow they manage to make their live performances even better. As you’ve picked up, the common thread is their great energy and their versatility. Two great live performances to add to your watch list - and I’m sure you’ve already had these recommended to you, are: 1. Tiny Desk concert. 3 songs about 14 minutes 2. BTS Room Live Festa 2021. Medley of 7 songs in just under 10 minutes. It perfectly demonstrates their range and it’s ideal for newcomers to BTS as you get to see each member do their thing.
If you love watching their choreo, I highly recommend watching On: Kinetic Manifesto MV or On Live at Grand Central Station on the Jimmy Fallon show where they sing this song live and perform the choreo
@@SeanStaxxMusic I think the suggestion meant, from her experience, one could consider watching it without CC, get the initial reaction first then go back with CC and can slow down and pause if needed, and as some armies said, not afraid of long videos. But then it's still your choice, if you want to do it just once, or multiple, since it will take longer for sure.
You should also react to another version of "ON" called "On Kinetic Manifesto". It showcases their dancing talent. Again, don't forget to put your closed caption on for the english subtitles. BTS is also known for their meaningful lyrics.
The making on ON you must watch! It's called ON Commentary film : Dialogue on BANGTANTV channel it gives you a look into how the song was created with the help of UCLA marching band and an all-black gospel choir! Also please put the subtitles on CC please so you can understand what their saying lol They added the pause in the song for the dance break that BTS performs live on award shows but the original song doesn't have that break.
Wow, you are good. You get the message of the song just by the visual of the MV. Next time don't forget to turn on CC. All of the BTS MV except the beginning of their career has English subtitles. And a lot of their songs has motivating lyrics, multiple layers of interpretation of lyrics, some poetic, some raw, and a lot of deep lyrics. They do have light songs too to boost the mood of us specially during pandemic. If you watch the kinetic manifesto version (dance version), you can see who is singing at which part of this song. If you want to sample their B sides songs, you can check out BTS Room Live Festa 2021. If you want to know what's the hybe is about, please check/ react to: - This is BTS | Introduction to BTS by Xceleste (watch this first) - A guide to BTS members: The Bangtan 7 by Taylor (to know more and deeper about the individual members, their talents and how they interact behind the stage (watch this after This is BTS) (this is a long video but please don't cut. We ARMY would love to watch it with you even it is long). Thank you for giving BTS a chance. I hope to see more BTS reactions in your channel. 💜
You should watch their other music video called “ON Kinetic Manifesto-Come Prima”. It is just the music, amazing dancing and vocals. No giraffes or Pride Rock. (Not that I have anything against giraffes lol.) They also did it on Jimmy Fallon in NYC Grand Central.
This is one of their more under-watched MVs, mostly because a lot of people suggest the performance video to newbies due to the choreography (which is awesome). I love this video too because of the cinematography and fantastic visuals. I believe this was filmed in California around early 2020, possibly January or February, definitely before Map of the Soul: 7 (the album ON is from) dropped. If you’re interested in watching the performance video, ON Kinetic Manifesto Film: Come Prima, here’s the link: ua-cam.com/video/gwMa6gpoE9I/v-deo.html If you want to see the mini documentary on the making of the song, here’s the link to ON Commentary Film: Dialogue ua-cam.com/video/npfs6afvIhk/v-deo.html
I really like "On," but I came to really appreciate BTS first through their rapline songs. Now I love it all! I hope you'll explore some more - maybe check out all 4 Cyphers. 💜
This is one of my absolute favorite song by them. And that's saying something because of their heavy catalogue. The mv is insane, the performance is nasty but what always get me is the lyrics.
I love this MV for ON, but a person can really get lost with all the symbolism (and there's a LOT). I would definitely recomment ON Coma Prima Kinetic Manifesto, as it is a showcase of their dancing abilities and OMG it's fantastic!
Maybe you can switch on captions if you do a reaction to the dance version of this track, the ON: Kinetic Manifesto Film. They also did a great 'one take' version at Grand Central station for Jimmy Fallon.💜
Hi Sean, I saw few people are fighting in your community about BTS. As an ARMY, I want to say sorry on behalf of ARMY. I know some ARMY can be overly protective toward BTS. This is due to all the hatred and mistreatment that BTS (and ARMY) received since 2013 until now due to they came from a small company that almost bankrupt but grow organically without the help of media and now being asian that grow so big in western music industry. But believe me, not all ARMY are like that. BTS has a huge fandom (from below 10yo to 60+yo) hence so much varieties of people inside it and people react differently. BTS also get a lot of hatred that some people can pretend to be an ARMY too and try to bring bad reputation for BTS. BTS themselves always spread positivity. Please ignore all the negative comments. I hope you will not give up on exploring BTS. I purple you (borahae) 💜💜💜 (you will find the meaning and the story behind I purple you in Taylor's video The Bangtan 7)
Now that you saw the M/V you must watch, 'ON Kinetic Manifesto Come Prima'. It's the dance performance version. The choreography will knock your socks off. Guaranteed, you've never seen anything like it. It even beats MIC Drop's choreo!
Just stumbled across your channel; am enjoying the BTS reactions, and am subscribing in hopes of more. I wish you had watched the other version of "On", though. (On: Kinetic Manifesto Come Prima) The choreo is mind-blowing. Also, I hope you'll delve into the rapline, as well. For example, Daetchwita, Joke, Do You, More, the Cyphers, Hip Hop Lover, etc. P.S. If you want to see yet a different side of BTS, watch the live version of House of Cards. Have fun going down the rabbit hole!
The lyrics are mixed Korean and English. With BTS turning on the closed captions will really help you if you choose to continue on your journey. BTS mv visuals can be packed with messaging and allegories. Even Mic Drop had them though having the middle portions of the song solely in English probably gave you adequate understandings without going deep things. The dance bridge/conch shell summoning of adversity cannot be understood without knowing what the lyrics are expressing. This track derives from the Map of the Soul 7 album. Map of the Soul being the name of a book of Swiss psychologist Karl Jung's theories. It is not simply something thrown in the track. It is a meaningful expression of BTS going through a process Jung calls individuation to create a new normal which embraces and integrates aspects of emotions which had been subconscious and now are leaking into their Personas. BTS in On foreshadows the very real decision they made to enter a "second chapter" to address their emerging psychological needs. The only part of the explanation I will point out as the mv is replete with biblical and cinematic analogies is the opening scene. There has been a war going on. It is in their minds, the dove with an arrow through it being representative of psychological peace being killed. Member Jin is cradling peace almost futilely hoping to bring it back.
I should have known I'd find in the comments what I was looking for under your post! Thanks for sharing some of the deeper concepts of this song and what the greater context is in which this song and its lyrics can be viewed. 💜
The música bridge, it's a dance break that iss not iincluided in the actual son, they added only for the MV. I recomendó you to activa te subtitles, because the lyrics are very interesting, in almos every song.
Why are you not using subtitles when you're watching their music? Also it would be well worth your time to react to the other video of the song called: ON: Kinetic Manifesto Film. You'll get to see lots of dancing in it also. Watch with the subtitles on.
Oop, always keep your subtitles (CC) on if you wanna know what they're saying. If you want some Informational/Documentary type vids: - A Guide to BTS members : The Bangtan 7 (by: Taylor) - The most beautiful moment in life goes on: A story of BTS (2022 Update) by TheAsianTheory - Nobodies to Legends (2019) by: xCeleste - This is BTS (PART 1) by: xCeleste - Rise of Bangtan (by TheRiseOfBangtanOfficial) - keep in mind, this is an ongoing docu-series highlighting the entirety of BTS' journey, there are 20 chapters out as of now Some more songs to start off with: - Black Swan - Blood Sweat and Tears - Fake Love - Mic Drop (Steve Aoki Remix) - DNA
You are spot on. BTS is so diverse, I don’t think you’ll find two songs that are exactly alike. I love this song, but this official music video missed the mark with me. I have watched the explanation video and even a British Priest’s interpretation which were both great, but this video concept just doesn’t mesh with the flow of the song IMHO. I love the On Kinetic Manifesto Film Come Prima video. The dance break makes so much more sense. I think most people agree. If I’m not mistaken, that version has more views. That’s probably what those who recommended this song intended for your reaction.
Hey Sean I just found you and absolutely love and appreciate your views on respecting music. I think you might like Fire and Not today from BTS just from your reactions to this and Mic Drop. I would love to see you react to the ON manifesto video!! I do agree though that you need to have them captions on so that you can understand the amazing lyrics. To understand another side of their talent!!
love your reactions. and love love love BTS--they're what got me into kpop. it would be so cool if you could check out another kpop group, ATEEZ. i recommend their latest song, Halazia.
You MUST watch ON: Kinetic Manifesto (film), the dance version of this song. There, the dance break near the end MASKES the song and is chills-inducing as you see the drumline encircle the members as they dance. It raises my spirits every time I see it. My favorite BTS video.
I just discovered your channel, love your reactions.. There is another mv for this song it's the one with the dancing choreography you should watch it.. It's called On also
The MV is very visual…..but a little confusing…..wish you had watched the On Manifesto performance video…….AND somebody else commented….you need to turn on English subtitles because their lyrics are soooooo deep!
Nice reaction! Thankyou again. If you want more party aggressive vibe like mic drop, you should check out dope or fire. If you want to see different vibe from every bts song you ever heard till now try save me or black swan or spring day. **A bit advice😂 if you had made this video before you know that the vid have lyrics. Better tell and pin it in the comment else you will see everyone keep commenting about the cc again😅 hope to see more bts mv with lyrics next time😁💜
I’m really enjoying your discovery of BTS. This is the official MV for this song but you should also watch the version called Kinetic Manifesto Film: Come Prima. It is choreography based but it will also make the marching band sound make more sense. This will also give you a chance to turn on the lyrics which is very important. As a bonus video you could do the live they did in Grand Central Station.
BTS is as much about their dancing as they are about their singing. They do both flawlessly! All members are amazingly talented. If you want to see more rap videos, I would suggest Suga's video "Daechwita" ua-cam.com/video/qGjAWJ2zWWI/v-deo.html , or J-Hope's video "More". ua-cam.com/video/pKdBFeewZYE/v-deo.html Both are amazing!

BTS 'ON' live perfomance on Jimmy Fallon
The really cool thing about BTS is, no matter how good the studio version is, somehow they manage to make their live performances even better. As you’ve picked up, the common thread is their great energy and their versatility.
Two great live performances to add to your watch list - and I’m sure you’ve already had these recommended to you, are:
1. Tiny Desk concert. 3 songs about 14 minutes
I try to watch video first and then I watch it again with the English Subtitles on so I can understand what the song was about.
I need to get in the habit of CC. I always forget that’s a feature lol
@@SeanStaxxMusic it is a lot to take in the first view. So many things to look at.
Please react to ON: Kinetic Manifesto and at Grand Central Station too!
ON is so much better in live, trust in me, is one their the best performances
The making on ON you must watch! It's called ON Commentary film : Dialogue on BANGTANTV channel it gives you a look into how the song was created with the help of UCLA marching band and an all-black gospel choir! Also please put the subtitles on CC please so you can understand what their saying lol They added the pause in the song for the dance break that BTS performs live on award shows but the original song doesn't have that break.
There is a "Kinetic Manifesto" ON version. It is amazing.
ON: Kinetic Manifesto Film is the one you should really react to… with subtitles! 💜
If you want to know what's the hybe is about, please check/ react to:
- This is BTS | Introduction to BTS by Xceleste (watch this first)
- A guide to BTS members: The Bangtan 7 by Taylor (to know more and deeper about the individual members, their talents and how they interact behind the stage (watch this after This is BTS) (this is a long video but please don't cut.
Rap line's solo would be a good to check out
On the list 📝
This is one of their more under-watched MVs, mostly because a lot of people suggest the performance video to newbies due to the choreography (which is awesome). I love this video too because of the cinematography and fantastic visuals. I believe this was filmed in California around early 2020, possibly January or February, definitely before Map of the Soul: 7 (the album ON is from) dropped.
If you’re interested in watching the performance video, ON Kinetic Manifesto Film: Come Prima, here’s the link:

If you want to see the mini documentary on the making of the song, here’s the link to ON Commentary Film: Dialogue

ON: Kinetic Manifesto... other video for this song. Black Swan, Blood Sweat and Tears mv's.
how many people have already told you the dance break isn't on the album recording? LOL I'll be #2059.
Disfruto tus reacciones.
I love this MV for ON, but a person can really get lost with all the symbolism (and there's a LOT). I would definitely recomment ON Coma Prima Kinetic Manifesto, as it is a showcase of their dancing abilities and OMG it's fantastic!
Please react to Black Swan and please turn on the captions. The video is a art!
Added to the list! I’ll add CC going forward
Hey great reaction! Pleaseeee turn on the english lyrics, they should be on every video!
Thank you! I’ll do CC for future videos 🙏
You should also watch them perform ON during the Jimmy Fallon show. The choreo in that is amazing.
Maybe you can switch on captions if you do a reaction to the dance version of this track, the ON: Kinetic Manifesto Film. They also did a great 'one take' version at Grand Central station for Jimmy Fallon.💜
Hi Sean,
I saw few people are fighting in your community about BTS.
I purple you (borahae) 💜💜💜
(you will find the meaning and the story behind I purple you in Taylor's video The Bangtan 7)
Other 'On' Video is awesome, too.
9:18 that part is only in the mv
the original song is without it
Ahhh ok cool cool 👌
its good you are reacting to bts videos now. people Especially ARMY will love your channel now.
This MV is beautifully made. But these men are amazing on the ON Kinetic Manifesto Con Prima version.
Ohhhh my favorite song 🔥🔥🔥💜
I love other mvs of this song. I enjoy the Come Prima Kinetic Manifesto, and the one in Grand Central Station
Kinetic Manifesto 😊
Now that you saw the M/V you must watch, 'ON Kinetic Manifesto Come Prima'. It's the dance performance version. The choreography will knock your socks off. Guaranteed, you've never seen anything like it. It even beats MIC Drop's choreo!
You won't get the complete BTS experience if you don't read the lyrics. One of Bts's strong points is their lyrics. Turn on the captions.
CC will be on going forward!
@@SeanStaxxMusic 👍
Just stumbled across your channel; am enjoying the BTS reactions, and am subscribing in hopes of more. I wish you had watched the other version of "On", though. (On: Kinetic Manifesto Come Prima) The choreo is mind-blowing. Also, I hope you'll delve into the rapline, as well. For example, Daetchwita, Joke, Do You, More, the Cyphers, Hip Hop Lover, etc.
P.S. If you want to see yet a different side of BTS, watch the live version of House of Cards. Have fun going down the rabbit hole!
ON is a really amazing track, but I think I prefer the choreography video and their live performance at Grand Central Station of it.
I’ve never really had to use them before, I forget they’re there. I will use them in the future!
You should watch the Kinetic Manifesto version of this song. It's a choreography MV and they KILL IT!
You can understand the lyrics of the song because all of their songs has english subtitles, please try to watch more and do the subtitles.
Got it, thanks!
cick cc for subtitle, ARMY loves BTS for their song, performance and lyrics
Thanks! I’ll have CC on in the future
There are 3 rap experts, each with their own style and flow. You need to listen to "UGH" and "Ddaeng" with subtitles. You won't regret it 👍
Oop, always keep your subtitles (CC) on if you wanna know what they're saying.

react to the kinetic manifesto ON, dance video... with CC turned on.
Yes, more. Thank You. Nice reaction.
Btw?? Why You don´t watch lyrics same time?
Thank you! I’ll do CC going forward 👌
Aquí también está el video de la gravacion, y debería ver la otra versión del video clic de on, también es muy buena
BTS - Daewchita
The on kinetic manifesto mv is great too
love your reactions. and love love love BTS--they're what got me into kpop. it would be so cool if you could check out another kpop group, ATEEZ. i recommend their latest song, Halazia.
The other version ON kinetic manifesto is the one that’s usually recommended it might be worth you checking that version out.
You MUST watch ON: Kinetic Manifesto (film), the dance version of this song. There, the dance break near the end MASKES the song and is chills-inducing as you see the drumline encircle the members as they dance. It raises my spirits every time I see it. My favorite BTS video.
yes
I just discovered your channel, love your reactions..
There is another mv for this song it's the one with the dancing choreography you should watch it..
It's called On also
Great reaction, if you check out the video for this song called ON kinetic manifesto film it’s the same song but all dancing it’s fire!
BTS "Ddaeng".......and "Ddaeng explained by a Korean" DKDKTV,,,,,,,,,There is "On Kenetic manifesto where the perform live"
The MV is very visual…..but a little confusing…..wish you had watched the On Manifesto performance video…….AND somebody else commented….you need to turn on English subtitles because their lyrics are soooooo deep!
I know! I dropped the ball lol I’ll have CC on in the future 👌
On have another video more hype
Please react to no more dream their debut song
As a bonus video you could do the live they did in Grand Central Station.
you should try Not today and Fire
i sure you will like it
you should react to their live performances too you'll love them
reaction to the song of Agust D (member of BTS) Dewachita
BTS is as much about their dancing as they are about their singing. They do both flawlessly! All members are amazingly talented. If you want to see more rap videos, I would suggest Suga's video "Daechwita" ua-cam.com/video/qGjAWJ2zWWI/v-deo.html , or J-Hope's video "More". ua-cam.com/video/pKdBFeewZYE/v-deo.html Both are amazing!
Actually there's a song, Idol + collaboration with Nikki Minaj.. I saw you have reactions to her. You should see it 😊
Please check out ON KINETIC MANIFESTO FILM and turn on the subtitles to get the message of the song.
