They are their own genre
I believe that!
@@SeanStaxxMusic and i respect that
@@raveenot7654 omg that rhymed
The thing about this medley is that it's all B-side songs. "Save Me" is actually the only one that has an MV. The rest of them, you can listen to the audio and/or watch a live performance, but that's it. It's just insane how good their B-side songs are.
I want to touch on three songs: Save Me, Pied Piper and Ugh!
- Save Me is a stroke of genius for several reasons: First, the mv is a one-shot video shot in a thunder storm (the short behind the scene video is hilarious 😄). Second, it has a sister song called I'm Fine. The two songs are connected through an ambigram that reads differently when turned upside-down, the featured notes are the same but reversed, they have corresponding lyrics, the choreography goes from individual dancing to increasingly supporting/helping each other etc. Pure genius watching them performed back-to-back!
- In Pied Piper they litterally call out ARMY for obsessing over them instead of prioritizing their duties. Name any other artist who does that... 😂
- Ugh! is a rap line only song and not only does it go hard but the wordplay is so intricate that I recommend watching the explanation video made by DKDKTV as well. The live performance is made like a boxing match and is absolutely amazing.
💜
up
genius, indeed! GREAT post! 💜
The Muster performance of Dimple and Pied Piper is one of my favourites.
Pied Piper is the funniest trolling of fans without being cruel just funny. No one dies it like they do.
@@MariaChavez-ey5sr "dies"😂
You should see them perform live - the hype song was ugh by the rap line.
I put it on the list 📝 I’m excited for this one!
@@SeanStaxxMusic sweet
You just experienced the tip of the iceberg with their versatility! But yea these are very very talented boys !
Lets goooo!!
@@SeanStaxxMusic =0)
You haven't seen anything yet. BTS always much better live. Their performances are insane. You'll blow away. I'm 52 very proud ARMY since 2017. Thank you so much for this reaction. 💜
The hype song was Ugh, that’s one of the rap lines songs. It’s great, if you want to listen to it, you definitely need an explanation video for that one! Also Ddaeng, another one of rap lines songs, also i suggest to watch an explanation video after. 💜
so "Festa" is a 2 weeks event to celebrate BTS' anniversary every June, starting from June 1/2/3 (it depends) to June 13... they released different contents everyday within those dates
all of the songs performed in this video are B-side Tracks.. among all of these songs, Save Me 2:41 is the only one that has a music video
yeah
I’m loving watching you get into BTS!! Thanks for the reaction!!
Of course! It’s really cool seeing everything this group has in their catalogue 🙏
@@SeanStaxxMusic glad to hear ur having fun
Outro: Tear is a song I think you’ll like if you want to hear more from the rappers. It was written at the time in 2018 when they were thinking about breaking up. It’s so raw and emotional but oh so good.
That whole album is amazing and wrenching.
The whole BTS is just good vibes! Thanks for reacting to the guys! 👍🔥
They really are good vibes all around!
@@SeanStaxxMusic yep yep
These are great samples of BTS's songs. This is one of my fav.
This is your reminder that BTS started as a hip-hop group back in 2013, they had rnb and rap songs as well. As years went by, they tackled one genre after another, and their fans had consistently grew as much as well. It is only during the pandemic that they started to release english pop songs as their official entry to the english pop music scene I guess. I mean, it gave them a grammy nomination. I personally grew up with their music, I was introduced to them by my older brothers at the age of 11 and I am currently 19 turning 20 soon. Theyre definitely one of the notable kpop groups that have become larger than the genre theyre placed. BTS is a genre now.
They have songs of every genre you should react to more I'm sure you will not regret
🙏
really fun to see u go in blind - they're so versatile, and quality of their music/message blows my mind every time; on top of that they're good, humble people ...
Thanks for the reaction to this! It's one of my favorites. Just BTS doing what they do best!
No problem, thank you for stopping by! Glad you enjoyed it 🤘
One thing this does is give a glimpse of the sheer variety and talent of the guys. They are ridiculously good live and these are just a tiny sample of their BSides. Army never gets bored because not only is their catalog really huge but it’s so varied and you don’t get bored.
I enjoy your reactions. I’m 60 and I love all the songs in this medley, and many, many more. There’s so much rap for you to respond to, as a group and individual performances. Enjoy the ride.
The festa is bts debut anniversary fiesta type. They celebrate it every year and do this type of show for army's. And the songs they sang are a mix of old to new songs.
They did a medley of their B-sides tracks... one from each of their full albums in chronological order. :)
Sean enjoy your reactions and welcome to the BTS rabbit hole💜.
We, Army will help you and encourage you to be open minded to the groups and solo members songs. BTS crosses different genre. All BTS songs in their discography are all pure masterpiece.
The sample you heard in feasta is UGH!!!
Here are a few of the rap line have Cypher 1-4,
- Cypher 1
- Cypher 2 Triptrych
-Cypher 3 Killer
- Cypher 4
-outro Tear
Festa is a celebration of their anniversary, June 13. It is a gift to army.
More please! Ugh is one of my favorite songs by the rapline 💜
This Festa live is the perfect combination to showcase their amazing talent, incredible diversity, and fun, chaotic personalities. It's honestly the perfect video for newer Armies.
This is a medley of B side songs from various albums starting from their debut and through the years since then (up to 2020). The rap song you liked was Ugh! Which has another related rap song called Ddang. No music videos for either, but you can find lyric videos with English translation on UA-cam, after which I highly suggest watching the Ugh explained by a Korean and Ddang explained by a Korean videos put out by DKDK TV because there is a lot of word play that gets lost in translation plus Korean cultural and political background that you might not fully understand otherwise. The other songs you especially liked were Save Me ( which has a music video) and Pied Piper, which does not have a music video but you can find a live performance with English subtitles
And that’s why they are the best band in the world. They are pure gold. Love them so much.
I love BTS. I discovered them about a year ago and with the diversity of their music, I became obsessed. I never thought I liked rap until I fell in love with BTS’s rap line. Now I get it.
You know what’s crazy? All these songs are awesome and Army favorites, but they’re all kind of B songs, most of these don’t even have music videos, but they do have fantastic live performances that you can check out.
The rap line song you like was UGH, I suggest you watch the explanation video because RM used 4 ou 5 different meanings to UGH in the lyrics, he’s a master in word play. That’s what you get when you have a rapper with a 148 IQ, the guy is a genius. The explanation video is done by a Korean guy that is fluent in English, is the only way we can begin to understand the mind blowing word play used in these great song.
With over 300 songs, this just touches the surface. They literally touch so many genres. They make what they want, how they want. Its mind blowing. They literally have no skips. All hits.
That one really hype was Ugh, done by our rappers RM, Suga and J-hope! ❤🔥There's a lyric video about that one, you should definitely check it out! I'm so glad you watched this - now you know what we mean when we say BTS is multi-talented. 🔥BTS Festa is an event where the guys celebrate their debut anniversary with ARMY 💜
Watch These. All of them!! They are seriously unlike any other “boy band” ever. So much, so so so much talent in every single member. They’re absolutely amazing.
This is a b side medley. 🔥
Thanks for reacting💜💜💜
Here's a list of the songs they sang for this medley.
- Like
- Look Here
- Save ME
- Outro: Wings
- Pied Piper
- UGH! (the one you liked😁)
- Telepathy
The song you feel hype is ugh, please react to their live performances, really amazing 💜💜💜
Can’t wait!
Your reactions are a nice treat 💜 we appreciate you
Thank you, I’m glad you enjoy them 🙏🖤
I just caught up on all your BTS videos - really enjoyed - off to watch some of your other ones. Like you said this is a good one to watch to get a vibe on who they are, but also it was live. This shows they are not faking their singing (which some people claim). Well to the rabbit hole. 😄
I think thats one reason why BTS had been so successful is there is truly a song fro everyone. Some groups cycle through a couple genres but they have branched out a lot. Even releasing different mixes of the same song, for example the song Fake love, they have the original, than a more acoustic version, than one thats more rock and roll feeling
What’s really cool about this set that they did for their Festa (a week long celebration they hold for each anniversary of their debut) is that it’s all fan favorite B-sides! Save Me does have a music video but wasn’t the title track of it’s album and the rest are all B-sides that are either older so they no longer perform or came out post Covid so hadn’t been able to be preformed up to the point this was filmed, but really loved by fans. This video was made and posted just fans. BTS do a ton of content like that which is part of what makes their fans so dedicated. Because BTS is really dedicated to their fans…
BTS un súper grupo completo con hermosas voces, excelentes raperos, productores, compositores, bailarines etc....
Well you are in for quite a ride. You have stumbled into a whole new world of music of every genre and then some. When you expect one thing, be prepared to be hit in another direction with something totally different. I just subbed to your channel today and watched your other BTS reactions. Great reactions but your song list is going to be bottomless!
I’m 65, almost 66 and found BTS last summer and consider myself baby ARMY. There is just so much from HipHop, Funk, Pop, R&B to Latin vibes, it’s endless and oh so good. I’ve never listened to Rap before until now.
They are 7 very different individuals, from different backgrounds that are incredibly talented, hardworking and as dedicated to their fan base (ARMY) as their fans are to them. Their music is heavily based on their social justice causes and personal struggles. They are involved with the UN, UNICEF, BLM, LBGTQ and mental health, not to mention women’s empowerment. It will help you understand their music, to learn their backstory and the incredible struggles they’ve gone through.
There are 3 Rappers (RM, Suga, J-Hope) and 4 vocalists (Jin, Jimin, V, Jungkook) but the Rappers sing, the vocalists can Rap, they all dance and the energy is infectious. Their MV’s have views in the millions to the billions. Their live performances at concerts, award shows, TV shows are amazing. It’s rare to see a group that is as good if not better, live! If you think their choreography is crazy, watch some of their dance practice videos. They have done a few for Halloween that are hysterical.
Thank you most of all for reminding us to support the music. I streamed about 20 songs after seeing your channel today. It’s easy to forget and watch a reaction to something you love but not go back and support the art. I really hope you enjoy this journey because you’re in for a ride. Borahae 💜💜💜💜💜💜💜
They defy genre, they are their own genre. And what is even more amazing is they are even better live. Can't wait for you to see some of the live performances Mic Drop is insane, so is Ddaeng and Ugh.
Enjoy 😘💜💜💜💜💜💜💜
Festa is where BTS celebrate their debut anniversary with ARMY, (their fans). They do this every year. Save Me is my fave song & video right now. You must watch the original music video to Save Me. The choreography is awesome. They filmed it and it was raining at the time, they just kept going. Love these guys! They are all I listen to now. We have 4 generations in our family who listen to them ages 4-89! You must "fall down the BTS rabbit hole" you will never regret it. They are such good role models, humble, caring, and love ARMY. Enjoyed your reaction.
FESTA = short for "festival". It's their annual celebration aka anniversary since their debut on June 13, 2013. It's a two week celebration leading up to their anniversary each year since their debut. Yes, this was a medley of their songs throughout the years. Their discography is MASSIVE! Over 300+ songs not to mention besides their group projects, they also have unit and solo projects. 💜
The last song was Telepathy. You can watch a full version of that song live at MTV Unplugged. Suga wrote the song.
Thanks for your reaction! I think that was a perfect reaction to give you a lil of everything they do. Many different genres, music and vibes. They’re live performances are soo good and I think much better than their MVs even tho their MVs are top notch. I’m excited to see what you will react next. Could you do the 7 member of BTS by taylor ? That’ll give you a good knowledge of who they are, what they’re all about and wheee they come from. It’ll help to know each member as your react to their music 💜
It was such a treat seeing your face showing all sorts of emotions while listening to the songs. Enjoy your BTS journey and looking forward to more reactions from you!
I’m excited for more!
So much FUN to watch BTS raise reactor’s expectations! Thanks for sharing your watching with us Sir 💞💜💞
Thank you! I’m glad you enjoyed it 🙏
I just subscribed to your channel. I love your reactions so far to BTS. I can't wait to see you react to and discover how incredibly talented and genuine our boys are. There is also nothing like their live performances. The songs you really liked were UGH and Save Me. You definitely have to see UGH live. I would also very highly suggest Outro Tear live at Wembly Stadium and the Cypher Medley Live. They also all have done solo work including the 3 rappers which I am sure would blow you away as well. I don't want to overload you with a giant list, plus other ARMY's will make good suggestions as well as you continue your journey. Thank you again 💜💜💜
All of them have solo songs too. You will be amazed. We swear on that.💜 Happy journey in BTS world.
the rapper's song name was "UGH"
they also have the "cypher 1,2,3 and 4 "
That hyped up rap one you liked the most was called 'UGH', awesome song too, just like all their stuff.😎💜👌
IM READY FOR THAT ONE! 🤘🔥
@@SeanStaxxMusic Yeah awesome beat & rapping ability.😎💜👌
Live concert reactions are a must have!! So What is a great hype and good vibes song.
they are simply amazing
It really makes me so so happy that this performance was able to draw people's attention today towards their older works, especially people who newly got to know them. Cuz these boys had truly made a lot of hits that were ahead of their times and deserve more appreciation.
This wasn't even in front of a live audience you are going to love it!💜
Hi Sean, welcome to BTS RABBIT HOLE, they are truly artists, super talented, they have a huge cataloge more than 300 hundred songs, I'm 68 years old and Peruvian Army , I love them so much, thanks for your reactions and respect to them, Borahae 🥰🥰🥰💜💜💜💜💜💜💜
Yes! I'm so glad you watched this one! The energy BTS bring to the stage is contagious. You're going to love this journey and I'm so excited for you! Looking forward to UGH! reaction.
I love this performance, I’ve watched it so many times. It shows their versatility and their personalities. They’ve got so many great songs, especially the so-called “b-sides” with no videos. They make me happy everyday now that I’ve found them. I’m 53, am blessed that I was able to see them in LA and Vegas and I’ll go again if given the chance. Nothing like their live show. Professionalism, skill and rapport with the audience is unmatched. Each of the 7 gives 110% each moment. They are so genuine and just the best of young men. I am in this Bangtan business for life now.
Ugh! Is one of my favorites. I think you’d also like Baepsae and Spine Breaker. As always, read the lyrics and get the explanation, because those songs are also brilliant messages.
Yes the guys hype each other up and it's very seldom u will see them sitting still unless their not feeling well, shy or super tired. These guys are Brothers and pretty much family so their comfort levels with each other are off the charts.
save me, dynomite and spring day are live on tiny desk concert. The beat drop in Save Me, kills me every time. as well as that key change in Dynamite.
FYI: Just in case no one explained BTS Festa is the yearly anniversary celebration shared with ARMY, with various events that occurs in June, their debut month. Room 2021 was one of those events, if you look at the lower part of the screen, you can find the name of the song on one side and the name of the album on the other . Not all the discography has videos, especially B sides but you can often find live performances of the song. Sometimes you can find 'eng sub' versions of performances that are reliable from official yt channels (HYBE or Bangtantv) or from recognizable ARMY groups like Bangtan Subs but if the yt video says auto-generated, they are unreliable. There are songs like UGH, Spring Day, IDOL, Ddaeng and many others that hold Korean cultural references that really need 'explanation videos' to heighten you understanding and appreciate the artistry and deep feelings in these songs. When ARMY suggests a song like these, they usually advise an explanation video.
Thank you for your reaction to the Festa medley performance. I noticed that you haven’t felt the need to turn in the captions which I think is super cool! This way you can get a feel for the music first and I promise when you do dive into the deep, deep, deep end of the ocean with the lyrics, you will understand why we LOVE BTS so much🙌💜💜💜
Yay! Glad you went for this one, it's really the perfect intro to them, like a sample platter 👍
For Save Me, I'm addicted to that song, the video is really cool because it's a one shot, there's a making of if you're into that, dude holding that camera is a ninja! 💜
The rap one you liked is Ugh, there's no video but it's an army favorite. You'd probably also love Ddaeng. Again, you really have to do Joke by RM, it's insane.
🙋💜
The song you were saying hype is ugh you should react to the live performance of ugh
Oh yeahhhh! Added to the list 👌📝
@@SeanStaxxMusic Please add the explaintion video from DKDKTV to get the cultural and deep lyrics of "UGH!". It will really help you appreciate the rap even more!
@@SeanStaxxMusic that live performance was during their online concert with no audience due to pandemic. But its still amazing stage. Kinda sad to see we have yet to see live stage with audience for ugh.
This really shows how versatile they are. Appreciate your reaction. There's also a video by bangtan subs with english translations not only of the songs but their conversations in between.
Amazing reaction! Can't wiat for more BTS contect💜
Thank you! More comin fa sho 🤘
I’ve rewatched even your reaction a few times now. It’s fun to watch BTS with other people who get genuinely hyped up about them.
🙏🖤 I’m excited to hear more of their songs!
The song is BTS UGH ! Very hype! Outro Tear is crazy too! The live version is the one u have to watch in wembley stadium instead of the CD, it hits even harder
As an A.R.M.Y I love your reaction to my boys
🙏🖤
A huge difference between BTS and some of the other celebrated (and, of course, very talented) Kpop groups you're reacting to is that those other groups don't generally write their own songs (they perform songs written for them). In the case of BTS, however, they generally write their own songs (well, except for the fully English ones, obviously).
Ahhhh I see. That is a pretty big difference in skill and for BTS to write their own stuff is awesome 🤘
They are ALWAYS better live, why? Because unlike many other artists in the Western world who are one dimensional where what you hear on their albums is what you expect from them in their concerts. However, BTS had Choreography while they are singing! This is what attracted me to them! It's like you take a band, like Coldplay for instance, you hear Chris Martin on the album doing most of the vocals, and when you go to see them in concert, the main focus is on Chris, not the rest of the band. As for BTS, you watch ALL of them because every single one of them has a part to do in the choreography, the rappers are DANCING, how many rappers do that? How many artists have a choreography for almost every song they sing? You could watch the same concert and be entertained just by focusing on one member, then watch again but focus on another member, you could do this 7 times.
Another thing they do live is that they SING, not lip sync. They have backing tracks to help with some vocals but it's their voices usually in the backing track and they can't sing both at the same time. Watching them perform live is the best entertainment you can have!
Their energy is amazing. It just lifts you. You definitely have to check out all the Cyphers. And watch some of their practices too! Their Bapsae (Silver Spoon) mirrored practice is so great
Thank you for giving them a chance. 😊 I love how excited you got. That will be a common sight for you. They do get more and more chaotic while performing. 😂 One of them just HAS to stand up, and then the rest of them are suddenly horsing around in the background. They're really fun people. I hope they found you at a good time, and, if in any case they didn't, I hope they bring a little comfort to you. Have fun exploring!
Welcome to the ARMY family! 😊🥰
Your BTS journey, falling into the rabbit hole? I'm here for it 😁
🐰🤘
Ugh is on my workout playlist since it came out a couple years ago
I’m excited for that one!
Look at Tae also exercising 😁He even using chair for exercising on the earlier song 😂
I will watch all your BTS reactions just to see your facial expressions! Welcome to the 💜💜💜 Army!
Great reactions so far 🙂. Thank you! And welcome to ARMY ( or am i rushing 😊🤗)
Thank you, glad you enjoy them 🙏 I’m definitely vibing with BTS so far 🤘
Loved watching your reaction! Thank you for being open minded! And yes it was a medley through the history of their discography
New subscriber here; just wanted to say you also got a tiny glimpse of their fun-loving, dorky personalities here, too.
Glad you enjoyed this. Okay, so the first one you said you needed more of was Save Me (around 3:40'ish, there is an MV for this one - a one take I think), and then the other one was, in fact, called UGH. If you react to that, be sure to also watch an interpretation video by a Korean at DKDKTV. I believe there is a lot of word play in this one, as well as in another great rap one called Ddaeng, and in one of their songs/MV's called Idol. DKDKTV has interpretation videos for each of these. Pied Piper is one I really enjoy and they included it. Outro: Wings as well.
Watch some live performances where they're singing and dancing, you'll be amazed. BTS is a genre in themselves, you never know what to expect when you first listen to one of their songs.
Yeah, they are good vibes! There’s a reason why they are massive… their music is really good music.
Exactly what you said Sean, „Ugh“. That is the title of rap song of the rap line. (RM, Suga, Jhope)
They have TONNSSSS of energy, thats why their lives are AMAZING! I don't know when their next world tour is going to be, but when there is one I'm going, cuz I've dreaming of seeing them live!
Also, maybe it's fun to check out their debut: No More Dream, and one song of their latest album Proof to see how much they have changed and grown up!
(Honestly, OLD BTS songs are GOLD, absolutely love them 🔥🤌)
You gotta listen to them all there incredible as well there in my Playlist on Spotify. Just waiting for the dance practices it's incredible lmao
I’ve got so many songs to jump into!
@@SeanStaxxMusic they have over 300+ songs as a group and solo mix tapes
Thanks for vibing with the boys…the one thing you can expect from the boys is the unexpected. You never know what they will do next…keep the BTS reactions coming we Army loves to watch it with you even though we have seen it a gazillion times. And when you see a purple heart in the emojis then you know Army is with you. 👍👏
Just found your channel and watched your BTS reactions. Thank you so much for listening to them and having an open mind. Most would cross them off the list just because they are “kpop”. But everyone I’ve met who actually listened to their music loves them and becomes a fan. You can watch their videos from when they debuted to now. The first ones were No more dream, N.O, and We are Bulletproof. But ALL their songs are great! Most of their music deal with socioeconomic issues, dealing with depression, loving yourself, teenage issues (when they were teenagers), etc. I’m not young - older than you I’d say, and I’ve never been as captivated by an artist as I have been by them. Not only by their music and performances, but by their comradeship, their personalities, and they’re just so kind, caring - and really funny. 😅
For rap songs I'll recommend
Ugh
Ddaeng
Agustd -agustd (agustd is Suga from BTS)
Cypher 1,2,3&4
August daewchita
This video is a great way to start knowing them! Hope you'll get more fun as you listen more of their songs 😄
I do hope you were enjoying that, because a lot of the time you looked like you were in shock. They are so good in whatever genre they cover
I was zoned in!
When you said in a previous reaction that you like versatility and variety, I thought you might enjoy this performance. I love this video because it really gives you the "flavor" of BTS. These are a few of their B sides off their albums and it spans their 8 years (as June 2021). It's live and get to see their personalities shine through as opposed to the highly rehearsed, choreographed, concept music videos.
UGH is the name of that rap line hype song. As others have mentioned, it's an awesome song, but even better when you can really understand the cultural context. There is no MV, but they have performed it live.

Special band, no wonder they conquer the world.
Alot of BTS success credit goes to their meaningful lyrics written by themselves (BTS are main songwriters of 99% discography of 300+ songs, and one of the main producers).
This is basically a medley of some of their b-side tracks from as early as when they debuted.
I reacted this way when I first saw this. It spans over the years as well as genres. Thank you!
Thanks for a fun reaction to BTS. I love them so much.
No video for hype song UGH! so you will have to do a lyric video and then the DKDKTV explanation video is a must so you can get all the wordplay and Korean references 💜
Damn that’s a bummer, a music video would be LIT! I’m still excited to watch a lyric video tho 🤘
@@SeanStaxxMusic There's a live performance from their 2020 Online concert. That one is fantastic!
That song is ugh 💜
IM READY FOR IT🤘🔥
I'm excited for you!! And it was great to see your authentic reactions! I got into them myself during covid and no regrets here haha
