The blue haired is called Jimin (stagecommander), the man with the temporary tatoo on the face is V , after him you saw RM (the leader) the blue jacket is jin (worldwidehandsom), than you saw with the english sounds you loved so ist Jungkook (golden maknae) he performed on fifa too, than you got hobi (dark hair rapper) and suga (blond hair rapper) If you like more the rap line than you need to watch the first songs from them like: not today or danger or no more dreams the rapline is suga, rm and hobi the vocalline is jk (jungkook), jimin, jin and v Songs like Run or, Mic Drop or Fire should you give a try too. Over the years you see that they grow from hip hop to idol (k)-pop group. The best is the mix between rap and vocal and that they wrote their own songs, a lot with deep messages. They arent some simple k-pop band, never were, never are. They worked hardest ever, sacrificed many things and stands on the top. Beatles or Micheal Jackson they long are above. So please give them a try and if you have the time look in many of their vids, you will be surprised and will learn why they are worldclass. Im into DIVAs type of music so switching into BTS (bigger than kpop) is unexpected on me too and Jimin was my angel on my darkest times. Seeing jimins face in a westwern interview via YT Shorts is when i found out about BTS. I didnt know he has a mesmerizing angelic voice. I fell inlove.

Im not a kpop fan, no offense to anyone or other groups. But BTS is a special group of guys. More you watch the more you will understand. I found them in 2017 and i have listened to their music everyday since, only group/artist i have ever done that for. I live in kansas and i flew to las vegas only for their concert nothing else, call me crazy but it was amazing and 110% worth it. I would have never done that for anyone else 💜💜

Every hurdle they turned into an opportunity, so when they say "bring the pain," they mean it. Hit 'em with something else and they'll use it to power up and come back stronger. Now the entire industry is chasing after the trends and expectations that BTS keeps setting higher and higher. New trainees are overwhelmed by the sheer amount of work and content and work ethic each BTS member has. Even though they're all in the military now, they're still breaking records and releasing new content for fans. The eldest member is due to return from enlistment this June.

Hello, I'm a 47-year-old Brazilian ARMY. Thank you for your reaction to our boys! I must tell you that it is very common to hear reports of people describing how they “found” BTS in their lives, how important it was, how much they needed them and everything they represented, even when these people didn't even know they needed them. I am part of that large group of fans who discovered support, help or support in some way through their music, messages, struggles and achievements. I was widowed after a relationship of almost 23 years and was going through a depressive process. I don't have children and my husband represented everything to me, he was my friend, my lover, my love, my father, my brother... truly a companion. I can't talk about important moments in my life in which he wasn't a part and his absence left a huge void. I found myself completely lost and disoriented, as if the best part of me had also died with him. By chance, to distract me, my mother (who was already a fan) showed me a performance from one of BTS's shows. I don't know how to explain it exactly, but all that energy touched my heart. From that moment on, every time I listened to his music or watched his videos, I somehow connected and identified with his messages. BTS became a kind of model of optimism for me, giving me strength and love. I believe that the group's trajectory of struggle contributed profoundly to their growth and the construction of what they are today. These boys are not perfect nor do they pretend to be, but they are extremely talented and determined human beings, who give us examples every day of humility, charity, attention, dedication and love for others. They are my daily dose of joy and encouragement, true angels on Earth! I love all 7 of them, I thrive on their achievements and I share their joys and sadness. Kpop is not a genre but an industry. BTS grew outside of the industry and the media which was controlled by the industry. When BTS started becoming successful, the industry tried to kill them. They failed. Today BTS turned the tables around by redefining kpop and taking new ownwership to kpop and also some of the media which shat on them in the past.

And you are now two more victims of the Jimin effect. He gets everyone eventually. Enjoy the BTS rabbit hole. If you are big with lyrics and word play you will love them. Unlike a lot of Kpop groups, most of the BTS discography has some serious messages. The label they are with, Big Hits, has the slogan "Music and Artists for Healing." These guys partner with Unicef, have spoken at the UN 3 times, and are dedicated to their fan base more than any group I have seen in my 58 years of life. They move between genres and are very experimental with their sounds and song structures. I really hope you enjoy their work and check out more. If you want any back story try checking Taylor's The bangtan Seven, Xcelest's this is BTS, and the Rice Squad's the most beautiful life goes on. These are fan made documentaries and so worth the watch. You could also do a fast check of a medley of songs they put out during their annual aniversary of their debut. 46 year old Australian army here, you have no idea what this group can offer in terms of music, music videos, lyricism (they write majority of their own song), production ( they produce a lot of their urn music too), visuals, raps from rap line (3 of them are rappers), their vocals (4 of them are singers)…ah the pot of gold!!!! 💜
not going to lie starting with bts is interesting, to be honest bts is beyond kpop, they aren't the textbook definition of korean popular music, it's way more than that with bts, they are in a league of their own.

Im not a kpop fan, no offense to anyone or other groups. But BTS is a special group of guys. More you watch the more you will understand. I found them in 2017 and i have listened to their music everyday since, only group/artist i have ever done that for. I live in kansas and i flew to las vegas only for their concert nothing else, call me crazy but it was amazing and 110% worth it. I would have never done that for anyone else 💜💜

Hello, I'm a 47-year-old Brazilian ARMY. Thank you for your reaction to our boys! I must tell you that it is very common to hear reports of people describing how they “found” BTS in their lives, how important it was, how much they needed them and everything they represented, even when these people didn't even know they needed them. I am part of that large group of fans who discovered support, help or support in some way through their music, messages, struggles and achievements. I was widowed after a relationship of almost 23 years and was going through a depressive process. I don't have children and my husband represented everything to me, he was my friend, my lover, my love, my father, my brother... truly a companion. I can't talk about important moments in my life in which he wasn't a part and his absence left a huge void. I found myself completely lost and disoriented, as if the best part of me had also died with him. By chance, to distract me, my mother (who was already a fan) showed me a performance from one of BTS's shows. I don't know how to explain it exactly, but all that energy touched my heart. From that moment on, every time I listened to his music or watched his videos, I somehow connected and identified with his messages. BTS became a kind of model of optimism for me, giving me strength and love. I believe that the group's trajectory of struggle contributed profoundly to their growth and the construction of what they are today. These boys are not perfect nor do they pretend to be, but they are extremely talented and determined human beings, who give us examples every day of humility, charity, attention, dedication and love for others. They are my daily dose of joy and encouragement, true angels on Earth! I love all 7 of them, I thrive on their achievements and I share their joys and sadness. But I have a special affection for V, he is naturally charismatic and seduced me with his penetrating and sensual gaze. Sorry for the long comment. I will follow your journey with BTS. Agradeço muito à Deus por ter colocado esses meninos em meu caminho no pior momento da minha vida. Foi como a chama de uma vela na escuridão. Durante um bom tempo eu não tive vontade de sorrir e quando sorria era apenas para agradar aqueles que me amam (minha família ou amigos). No entanto, quando os vejo meu sorriso vem fácil, sem esforço e quase sem perceber. Pode parecer exagero e incompreensível para muitas pessoas, mas eles "tocaram" meu coração de uma forma sutil e profunda me levando a desenvolver uma conexão especial com suas mensagens. Até hoje sinto uma extrema dificuldade para dormir, mesmo quando estou medicada. No início, cheguei a ficar 3 dias inteiros acordada e hoje em dia durmo ouvindo suas músicas. At this point, BTS stands apart from KPOP - they evolved beyond its restrictions years ago.
What we in the West refer to as, "KPOP," is properly called, "Idol Music." Mainstream boy & girl group members in Korea (& Japan), are referred to as Idols, so KPOP/Idol Music isn't so much a genre as it's a description of a comprehensive entertainment package: music + singing + dancing + physical appearance + fashion + visual aesthetics + fan interaction + social responsibility. KPOP music is largely derivative, but innovation does exist, particularly in willingness to fuse & blend elements & influences.
Idols are expected to be entertaining, look good doing it & not just adhere to S. Korean socio-cultural norms, but model them. BTS started as an independent Hip Hop Idol group, then grew to international pop star status while remaining independent of the Korean & U.S. music industries, both in terms of financial ties and philosophical approach.

Kpop is not a genre but an industry. BTS grew outside of the industry and the media which was controlled by the industry. When BTS started becoming successful, the industry tried to kill them. They failed. Today BTS turned the tables around by redefining kpop and taking new ownwership to kpop and also some of the media which shat on them in the past.

Unlike a lot of Kpop groups, most of the BTS discography has some serious messages. The label they are with, Big Hits, has the slogan "Music and Artists for Healing." These guys partner with Unicef, have spoken at the UN 3 times, and are dedicated to their fan base more than any group I have seen in my 58 years of life. They move between genres and are very experimental with their sounds and song structures. I really hope you enjoy their work and check out more. These are fan made documentaries and so worth the watch. You could also do a fast check of a medley of songs they put out during their annual aniversary of their debut. 46 year old Australian army here, you have no idea what this group can offer in terms of music, music videos, lyricism (they write majority of their own song), production ( they produce a lot of their urn music too), visuals, raps from rap line (3 of them are rappers), their vocals (4 of them are singers)…ah the pot of gold!!!! 💜
