TLR lift master sells a garage door opener that mounts next to the door its self and not over head if you wanna look in to it , it basically just winds the shaft with the spring basically instead of the center over head chain

This video was awesome, and for those who say you bought this channel or your riding coat tails , they don't have a clue what a hard day's work is about. I'd like to see them rebuild a D-max AND film it. Also put out all that scratch not knowing if you will make it back or not. The only thing you guys are guilty of is being a good businessman. You guys took a Huge chance on this. And I want to thank you for doing so because it got me through the quarantine. 👊
I’m not seeing much hate. I think it was a wise purchase. No matter what anyone says, you can’t buy a channel, I think doing something like this would be the equivalent of paying for advertising for some other business. No matter what though they have to make good content to keep growing, just like a normal business has to provide a good business no matter how much they spent on advertising.

Wow that’s so frickin awesome that you showed how much you spent and even how much you tube revenue you made from it, no one else ever does that. No one seems to like to say how much they spent on these projects and for sure no one on UA-cam ever says how much they make off revenue. Thanks for showing all that, it’s really interesting to see the actual numbers, and by showing how much it actually costs to rebuild a truck you really show how much it takes to fix one up. All the time involved isn’t even mentioned, it’s a ton of work for sure.
I have fun showing the whole process, the good and the bad. We definitely make some stupid mistakes along the way but we get it done.

You should get your garage door tracks changed to hi-lift and put a jack shaft opener on it . That will put the door as close to ceiling as possible and no opener in the way !
I have one of those lifts (not the car lift), never thought about lifting the cab up with it. Good stuff
Yeah, it worked pretty well but was definitely maxed out weight wise.

I think you did alright on that. Plus I think it’s fair to count pretty much all the videos, I’ve watched some of your videos that didn’t have this truck in it but never would have watched if it wasn’t for you getting this truck and the next truck is no different, I probably never would have ended up here if not for that truck. On top of that you can easily sell the truck and make all the money back and then some so you’re just out your time which will pay off in the long run. I’d say it cost old WD a hell of a lot more to get started considering he was starting with decent trucks he paid for and ending with a scrap pile. As long as you guys carry on the momentum and keep making good videos you’ll be fine.

Oh we are definitely doing that, Blazer is still my favorite vehicle on the channel.
Honestly though this was a such a smart investment to grow the channel. An easy break down of it is before the truck they averaged 1k to 2k views, an then the videos about the dirtymax averaged 75k to 80k views, an then since they started the dirtymax build their non relateddirtymax videos like the f150 are now averaging 15k to 20k views. 15k to 20k views a video is enough to start the snow ball effect

I buy trucks like this and fix them for myself, second gen dodge trucks, get them for $500 to $1800 and part them out and put them back together, takes two or three to make one and I'm always selling parts off them, buy cheap gas trucks just for the cabs, good luck
