these are really inspiring and thought-provoking videos, thank you for all the detail as to why you have certain things set up the way you do. I'm pretty much computer-based but think alot about an improvising/jamming setup away from the computer, whether an octatrack or digitakt would serve well enough as the hub of this and let me do what I want, so this is really helpful, thanks :)

Great setup! How often do you reach for the filters on the Model 1 vs the Vermona and Octatrak's VCFs?
Absolutely love your music. Do you use a keyboard when inputting sequences to OT or simply use knobs?
In the other video he said: no keyboard live for logistic reasons
He chooses individual tones with the octatrack buttons set to chromatic scale and the screen feeds back a piano keyboard that shows the notes being played/recorded.
Hi Federico, could the machinedrum do the same as the octotrack is doing for sequencing the perfourmer ? I dont know the octotrack's features so well, but it looks like it can send multiple channels at the same time...i'm not sure machinedrum can do this ? I have the machinedrum and would love to know if the routing supports this like the octotrack :) Thanks again for your videos
It can sequence yes, but it would be way more painful to do it. Also you would not have different track lenght and probability trigs.
Compared to each other , what is the best synth for improvisation = subharmonicon or perfourmer mkII ?
Neither but perfourmer offers four relatively easily programmable voices with a high propensity of sweet spots whereas you could get maybe the illusion of four difficult to program voices on the subharmonicon. Also, when you turn off the subharmonicon it will not necessarily sound the same when you turn it back on, unlike the Perfourmer. Making music on the subharmonicon is like making music on Make Noise instruments, it's not exactly for beginners and probably would be a roundabout way to go about things if your ideas are not particularly experimental.
