If you put your isopropyl alcohol in a spray bottle that has a very fine mist, spray a light mist of alcohol in the air and wave your pen through the mist just once as quick as you can, the effect is beautiful.
I will certainly try your water method. Who knew it helps to cure the pens? Also I must start a collection of Pop of Color. They are at the top of my wishlist. Once again TU!
I LOVE this so much!! I had no idea you could do so much with making pens! I’m finding out though!! I can’t believe you don’t have to seal the alcohol ink layer before putting the resin on it! New subscriber here!!
How would you do these with regular resin? I have an insert for my tumbler turner for pens. I usually do counter tops and table tops, thought I’d try this?
UV resins tend to cure with tackiness/stickyness. Inserting in water should prevent this. You can instead just clean with alchohol when cured to remove tackiness. I one I use is 91% I think.
Oh and I love the cat’s commentary! I have one like that, she’s a chatty Cat-hy! Lol!!

Ok. Pop of color is acrylic paint? And what does the water do? It would be nice to have some more information on why you do things.
I can't wait to try UV resin for pens! What does the water do?
The water helps reflect the UV light to all areas of the pen to help it cure! 😀

What is the purpose of the water?
Do you let the green dry completely before you add uv resin before water

Late to the party, but please don't drip water over your electric UV lamp! Watching you was quite anxiety inducing!
Great tutorial, thank you 😊
