I’m just now getting the car freshie thing down and now you’re making me want to start making pens 😂😂🥰 FYI I started making car freshies because of you!! You are so detailed and super informative. You made the process of learning how to make a freshie so so easy💜
I love and subbed to your channel. A couple things I thought of....you could possibly sand the pens before starting so you don't need to use glue!? Another thing I thought the reason for the pen turners was to put your UV light under it to cure the pens!? I will be watching more for sure!!
I use the pen turner attachment and I love it. I have used the gel pens, but I find that most of them don't write all that well. I started buying some Amazon Basics pens that I really like.
When the pens are done and you have a few. Do they scratch keeping them together ? Mine are all scratching and i used the usvresin that is in this video.
I have the same pen attachment. However the metal rods + epoxy = permanently attached to the turner piece. Suggestions for keeping that from happening?
Hi! We tried the cow print with alcohol ink and the brown ink ran and the white is now brown. How can you keep this from happening? Do you wait 24 hours before you seal it with the epoxy?
When I tried to make the cow hide pen and I let it dry for at least 2 days and when I went to put the epoxy on it made the color run? What can I do to fix it?
She allowed the alcohol inks to dry then used glossy clear spray paint and allowed that to dry before using the resin. Just an additional heads up, sometimes the alcohol inks color will change when you spray with the clear coat, dont worry tho, when it dries its the proper color again 🥰 the browns will usually look green until it dries fully. Good luck friend!
This is probably a very stupid question, but the UV resin has been okay for you? after reading more about the dangers of epoxy I'm scared to death to dip my toes in anything! LOL and the crystalac way is very time consuming...Doing UV resin under my porch outside should be safe bet? LOL ugh.
I just love how fast it is. The one downside is you can do dark colors of resin or mold because the UV can't penetrate to fully cure it. I tried maroon bangles and they stayed soft
That’s my favorite UV resin! Love that it’s cheap and the only one I have used without a horrific smell.
Good
Thank you so much for sharing the pen info! I love that you don't have to break off the tip. I just started this project and you made it so very easy!

Why do you use clear coat spray and uv resin? To me that's more steps than what's needed.
If she didn't, the resin would make the alcohol ink activate again and get runny 😊 the clear coat keeps the alcohol ink right where she put it.

You can use non voc or UV resin is a safer bet when used correctly
