I tape my dowels towards the lower half and add the vaseline to the masking tape. I add it to the silicone plugs as well and use the plug to coat the top hole. I'm prepping to make a small stash of pens.
Beautiful!! Stunning!! Just a quick tip put your epoxy on the middle of the pen and move it towards the ends to prevent the hope from being covered and makes clean up way easier 😉 that will also help with the pen not sticking to you dowels.
Wow! That looked like alot of work. They turned out beautiful. I wish I had your job working with glitter all day. I have a Cricut and barely use it. I have a hard time transferring. This really inspired me though. Those would make excellent stocking stuffers. Thank you!
I’m so far behind the newest epoxy trends haha i’ve just today bought my first pen molds. which after watching this I wish I would have watched this first and not bought the molds! Im realized the molds are not refillable. I think that’s just a waste. Your pens are super cute tho❤️🔥
After watching videos on nothing but cups for years, this was like a breath of fresh air! I had so much fun watching you do these...definitely gonna try my hand at these. Thanks for the inspiration, I think they turned out gorgeous!
Absolutely excellent tutorial/video!!! This answered so many of my questions and I thank you so very much. I am making my first 2 pens and a smaller tumbler and this was so helpful. I'll be a new subscriber and look forward to more of your videos!! 💖👏😍🎉
Soooo cute!! I just reopened my shop last week from taking a little break from christmas and can't wait to add these and make matching pens for my customers! 😁
I used some wire snips to cut off the little clip. It made it easier to sand. I can’t wait to try some different techniques, yours turned out gorgeous 😍
I clicked on your etsy shop but you are not selling there anymore? Do you have a current shop? I don't have a Cricut and not able to afford one right now, but would love to come up with something different maybe, like stickers? Anyway love your pens...they are so pretty especially the purplish ones!
Hello! This was so helpful and has made me confident that I can make pens, too!! However I didn't notice which type of resin you are using. Is it the same resin for before the glitter pouring, at the very end for the final coat?? I have been browsing all of the items as they come up on your video but didn't see specific products for those things. Can you provide links or brand names? Much appreciated xx
Hi! thanks for the nice tutorial! your glitters are amaaaaazing!!!! I'd like to know if it makes a difference when you use glossy spray paint vs matte spray paint?
Thank you so much for this video. I love your creativity. You explain things very clearly and make it easier. It's great to see your trial and error and how you give solutions. Love your tutorials 😍
Omg thank you for going the extra mile and explaining step by step, you gained a new follower and I'm actually on my way to purchase an item from your store 🥰 as a token for you sharing. Thank you so much 🤗, but I do have a question, what foam do you use for the pens to put into the turner?
I hope you see this because I really need advice. Do you use the same resin when you first apply the glitter as you do to seal it? Thank you so much if you have a chance to respond.
Love your tutorial but I just spray painted my pen and its still sticky. I didn't put it on thick so why is the spray paint still sticky?? Any suggestion would be greatly appreciated as I'm getting pretty frustrated
Great tutorial. How much would you sell these pens for? Does the culture resin have a strong odor. I am allergic to standard epoxies. Trying different ones to see if I can find one I don’t react to.
Toooooo darn cute ! Love the Holo spotted one and the pink cotton candy looking one ! I’m definitely going to try them ! What is the blue cloth you dry your things with ? And what setting do you use on your Cricut to get a nice thin [and CLEAN] cut ?
@@crissycreatesofficial oh yeah...how do you get the lines and the hearts added from the I Love Glitter font ? I see them when I downloaded the font, but then when I uploaded it to Cricut Design Space I didn’t see them.

Hi! thanks for the nice tutorial! your glitters are amaaaaazing!!!!
I'd like to know if it makes a difference when you use glossy spray paint vs matte spray paint?
Thank you so much! Not too much of a difference. I prefer to use matte but I use glossy if the color I want isn’t available in flat or matte.

Where can I buy the resins and turner
so beautiful . but what is the turner? what is it? where do i get one? or make my own? how long do i leave them on the TURNER?
Can you recommend a font that works better for these pens? Or give a size measurement for putting fonts on pens?
I was wondering the same??
Love these
These are so cool. Can you use any kind of sticker? I don't have a Cricut.
Yes you don’t need a Cricut
Hiya what is the size of the name sticker your using? Thanks
Love your tutorial but I just spray painted my pen and its still sticky. I didn't put it on thick so why is the spray paint still sticky?? Any suggestion would be greatly appreciated as I'm getting pretty frustrated
So are you adding materials from the pens back together ?
Beautiful!
These are so cute.
Very cool! I wonder if liquid latex would work for the dowels to help keep epoxy off??
Someone else recommended that and it’s definitely an awesome alternative!
Great video ..
What do you charge for your pens great job keep it up thank bill
Great tutorial 😍🙏🏻👍🏻
Thank you so much!
Exactly which resin mixes do you use? Different for the initial pre-glitter than post?
So I'm trying this cam I use black acrylic paint if I don't have the spray I have white spray if that ok.
Yes that’s ok
Love them all !!❣....I'm going to start making these ASAP! How much should I charge for them?
I charge between $8-$10 each
thank you for your amazing video. What are those cleaning cloths that you are using? Lint free is where it at. lol
This are so cute . I want to try them but what if you don’t have a turner ? Can you still make them without ? Which turner do you recommend
Great tutorial. How much would you sell these pens for? Does the culture resin have a strong odor. I am allergic to standard epoxies. Trying different ones to see if I can find one I don’t react to.
$8-$10 is a good price point. To me it does have an order but you should be using a respirator mask for protection and you won’t smell it.
For a full wrap what size do you do?
I have a question. Does it always have to be spray painted? Can I use anything else besides spray paint?
No you can use regular paints if you like.
How long do they sit after applying glitter and second coat of resin
This was super informative,thank you!
Toooooo darn cute ! Love the Holo spotted one and the pink cotton candy looking one ! I’m definitely going to try them ! What is the blue cloth you dry your things with ? And what setting do you use on your Cricut to get a nice thin [and CLEAN] cut ?
The blue cloths are called shop towels, mechanics use them. They are lint free and super durable!
