Copy & Paste to ANY TRACK in Premiere Pro 2024

Did as you suggested, and when I selected track 7
Ctrl+V, to Paste to Target on that track.
It always paste to Track 1.

Are you using the numbers on the left side of the keyboard (all in a row above the letters)? Or on the right side arranged in a grid?

hey bro, i've just fought how to fix it. Make sure the you change the "Paste to target track" short cut to ctrl + v not "Paste insert to target track"
