Too many people live their lives trying to live up to the expectations others have of them, without truly knowing who they are or what they want for themselves.

And what if it is the validation or approval of our parents that we are seeking, at this stage that I have learnt to say no and learnt to go through every choice I make so I won't ever regret it and accepting myself and improving myself everyday, I still fear being even 2nd in my tests bcz my parents are just addicted to seeing me at the top, if I'm 2nd or 3rd, which happens once or twice a YEAR, it's the look of disapproval on their face that threatens me so much that on every wrong mcq, the only look on my face is of fear, not of understanding that I have come to know a new thing which is the real thing I feel inside, without any kind of fear
