    I love this car. When I drove it the first time, I fell in love. After 20k, I still love it. From the outside, I never realized how huge this car is. It wasn't until I sat next to other cars. It made them look tiny - and, if you have a lot of luggage, this is the car you need. The trunk is awesomely big. For zipping around, I drive a 3 Liter VW EOS. Great engine and tuning, but stuff in the cockpit loosens up. Door panel fell off, the visor screws fell out. There's "German Engineering" for you. I love driving it, though. It's zippy.

    Im for sure getting this as the next full size car. i have a compact car but this will be next and i like how American car companies such as Ford have really stepped up their design, power, and showing it gives more to what people want. Packed with technology, and all that honda offers with their touchscreen is just a rear back up camera and to 'touch' different radio stations, there is no compared way to say what is better. Also i dont really care about the price. as i long as i can afford the monthly payments then im fine with it. when i buy a car, i buy it to keep it. im not those people to trade it in after 5-6 years..that is such a waste of an investment for me and anyone that does that. I always believe in that phrase 'you get what you pay for', and if you want a typical car with just a/c, a radio, and four wheels buy a corolla, but if you want something that can integrate with your life and give you much more than expected then buy it..i also buy American and i will always...go USA!

    Less than a month i got my 2014 SHO and fell in love real fast. I came from a 2011 328 BMW and never thought I would leave BMW but the same power as a 335 but cheaper with all options. Such a awesome car, only thing is the stereo is not up to pat for me I'm the loud department but excellent quality.

    I'm glad Ford didn't change much for 2014. I got 1 2013 SHO about 8 months ago and I absolutely love it. Everything you said is right on. The car drives like a true sports car; you can't tell you are in a 4300 lb limo. And with 93 octane I get 19-20 MPG city and 26-27 MPG highway. Mine is also in Tuxedo Black and it is the nicest paint I have seen in person.

    We use a couple of cameras. Our primary camera is a Sony DSC-H300. We use that camera for when we are walking around the vehicle. The interior driving shots are taken with a GoPro Hero 3 Black Edition mounted to the windshield by suction cup... Hope this helps!

    When I was 16 in '95, my father took me to the Ford store intending on getting me a '95 Explorer Limited. When the ink dried, I was heading home in a '95 SHO. Emerald/jewel green with tan leather throughout and all of the boxes checked on it. Nice power front seats (driver and passenger), great acceleration it had and a awesome growl when it started up and accelerated. He was given a good deal on the SHO because they said that it was sitting there on the showroom floor for too long, and the new Taurus was coming in soon. That's when the Taurus turned into that hideous ovoid shape. My SHO was short lived because my cousin got it into an accident. She said that there was this bright fluorescent green liquid flowing out from under it, and the airbags did not deploy. My father had it bedded to a shop to be fixed. Since the SHO was not available for me anymore, my father went out and came home and handed me the keys to a '95 Toyota Land Cruiser in Moonglow Pearl. When the SHO was finished finally, it cost $15k to fix 😮! Since I had the Land Cruiser, he took the SHO and donated it to a charity organization and received a tax credit of some kind. I did love my SHO when I had it, the Land Cruiser was safer though. I graduated from HS in '96, but by then I was driving a new Lexus LX450 in cashmere beige metallic.

      Jacob Baird No, I talked to the Sheriff a while ago about it, but he said that it wouldn't work out well because my Sheriff department has a lot of taller heavier built men. And as for the exact time they got them, I have no clue. I just happened to see one at the scene of an accident. They do however have a lot of the Ford Utilities, several are used for K-9. Also, police department is different than the sheriff, just saying.

    I adore my '14 Limited, its been one of the best cars I have owned. Great tech, quality interior, very safe, great on gas, lots of power and drives like a Lincoln on the highway. If you looking for one used I highly suggest a 2013+ models as a lot improved. I would really try to consider looking for one that is as loaded as you find, a base Limited at the least. I crossed shopped 4 other full size cars, Avalon, 300, Impala and Charger. The material quality in the interior were no match with the Ford. The ride was so much more balanced, it was to sporty, to harsh or to soft like the others I found. It does it all right.

    I love my 2013 SHO, besides a few hiccups from the car, it is fun and luxurious. After putting only 2800 miles on the car the torque convertor started to go out, luckily the car warned me with the yellow wrench and check engine light. Turns out, from what i was told, it was on the list from ford for a recall. Anyways, fun and nice car to own IF you can afford it!

    Luv the car, but not for $46,000. $39,000 to $41,000 tops. This MAY be my next car. Re-sale value of the Ford is my biggest concern. For me, It'd be between this or the Infiniti Q-50 all wheel drive or the Acura TL all wheel drive. Tuff choice. I think the SHO probably wins the fun factor by far though.

    • @vaporeizied8
      @vaporeizied8 10 років тому +4

      negative- this also depends on many factors- and most important would be the oil change at 1000 k -that would be for the raptor, mustang and hp engines. sorry dont consider this vehicle as "HP" and accelerating in this manor is acceptable. cruise control, long idle times etc are also factors.
      finally, if you are a co owner of a lincoln dealer and i come in to buy a 50k mkz, do you think im not going to step on the gas for 0-60?? if you told me not to, you lost a sale.

    I have a 2011 the thing I like best is to take people for a ride and snap their necks off the line and see the look on their face! They are like WTF this is not a Taurus !!!!!

      Should have lived through the 90s and had a 1st gen. It was way more unbelievable especially when you sent a mustang GT driver home with their head down.

    1-Not an easy car to drive. still has that body roll
    2-still has those annoyances that steam from a product that isn't properly refined. Mostly via electrical.
    3-It's a heavy car, and the V6 works hard to move that body around. The turbo's really don't much for the performance
    4-The car is about 20k over priced.
    5.Sync is teriabiile
    6.Navigation system is in dire need of work.

    • @calvinrovinescu6166
      @calvinrovinescu6166 9 років тому +1

      You don't know much about the car. The body roll is very minimal and the Ecoboost can get this thing 0-60 in about 5 seconds.

    Well atleast if you bought the first addition that came out you can swap out grills wheels tail lights because the 2013 makes the first models look fugly shit id change hoods bumpers headlights tail lights what ever it took cuz this shit looks bad ass..older people goto Ebay and search for a Ford Sho Boost controller hook it up too your vehicle like a code reader...and turn the boost up too 25-30 psi or 7-15 psi higher than stock then go take it for a drive and have ya minds blown then if you want upgrade the intercooler and waste gate to a sequential hks bov.. Or a multi settig one simple mods takes minutes to install and you could literally reach 450-600hp which in a awd sedan like this is god damn nuts

    • @Buttscum
      @Buttscum 10 років тому

    The Chevy SS is better with its V8, Brembo brakes and great handling. It's around the same price as well.

    • @Beanjuice

      ***** The SHO is AWD, from a digg this car will whoop the SS.

    • @cptKerala
      @cptKerala 9 років тому

      +Welfare Bandit Lol ok. The SS has 50 more horsepower and ways 400 pounds less. SS 0 - 60 4.5 seconds, SHO 0-60 5.1 seconds. Sit down fanboy.

    • @Beanjuice
      @Beanjuice 9 років тому

      ***** Not a fanboy; just made a misinformed assumption. I would much rather be driving a Charger since I like its styling better when compared to the SS; The Taurus will be releasing a new trim, possibly an RS and it's already going to be lighter and faster with its 2016 model. We'll see. I personally don't prefer GM products simply because my family has owned them and they are nothing but problems. The only good GM product in my family is my 97 Sierra; too bad they don't make them like they used to.

    • @cptKerala
      @cptKerala 9 років тому +2

      Welfare Bandit Do you have a reputable source for the new taurus trim? Also you stated isolated cases. Chevy and GMC are ranked 10th and 11th respectively out of 31 for reliability according to JD power, while dodge is at 27/30. I also hate that statement about cars :"too bad they don't make them like they used to.'
      You're damn right they don't. Now they are safer, more fuel efficient, make more power and have better interiors.

    • @Beanjuice
      @Beanjuice 9 років тому

      ***** They could be number one, If I tend to have bad experience with something I tend to avoid it after if I was going by that then I'd stick to Toyota/Lexus/Scion. I said why I don't buy GM never did I say no one else should. You shouldn't care so much about what others prefer.
      If you like GM then more power to you I hear their new Camaro for 2016 is amazing and I agree but I'd never buy one.
      As for a reputable source for a TRS I don't have one; I said possibly since Ford already confirmed a Fiesta RS and since Ford did say that they were going to give us 20 new trims from now to 2020 I can't imagine there not being one for the Taurus as well.
      The SHO is going to be lighter and quicker for 2016 however; that much is a fact.

    I am a Ford fan please note my user name,its Fords best car ever built the Focus RS500, but I am really disappointed with American Fords, almost all of American Ford cars are crap,even now Ford is selling more Fiestas and Focus and Escape and Fusion than homegrown Taurus,Flex,etc,Y simply because Euro cars have better quality and betters American cars in every department,pulled up BMW here cuz within 2-3 years BMW will release 3 series in price range of Taurus,RIP 2015 Taurus unless its RWD
