I'm not so sure you should advertise patriot mobile, after doing some research into it, it looks like its just kind of a scam, they just lease cell towers from verizon and At&t so you pay fees on top of fees.

@stephaniekerr The recoil impulse is surprisingly mild for the size and weight. Nothing snappy at all like you get with polymer micro compacts. Ive found it has a nice return to zero as well. Slide is super easy to rack too. Mine needed a wind age adjustment and the firing pin retaining plate isn't fit correctly so the extractor clocks a little. Disappointing for sure but if you know how to work on 1911s it's an easy and inexpensive fix.

Yeah, the full size 1911 there’s nothing special about a sub there’s already a plethora of subcompact single stacks. This is just unnecessary in my opinion. This is just a gun you buy if you’re just a fan of 1911s.

I’m holding off on celebrating until after the DNC and maybe not even then. Really depends on which individual gets the nomination and how likely they are to win the general election. There are at least three potential candidates far more likely to gain serious traction on gun control or, failing that costs law-abiding Americans tens of millions of dollars in legal costs fighting executive branch overreach.

I carry my full size xdm in the winter. Heavy bulky sob but ik I got enough lead lol
I have the EMP Champion Concealed Carry Contour. It's a 4 inch barrel. Has a rounded or contoured grip and mainspring housing. Really interesting G10 grips and front strap checkering. And came with 3 magazines. Springfield discontinued it but needs to bring it back. Absolutely an outstanding 1911! Shoots better than some full size pistols.

You would have been a legend back in the gun rag days. Your oratory skill is high.
Up to very recently, I carried a Ronin Commanders model with the 4.25" barrel. The only reason I stopped carrying it is because when I work then I sweat a lot and even though I was using a leather holster, my sweat got on my pistol ruining the finish on it. I am now carrying a Ruger SR1911 stainless model so that I don’t have the corrosion issues
Very interesting never have a Springfild, but they look "handsome" 😂 That model "commander" I love it in Colt.
@mopiktm9480 I actually got my Springfield second hand and I really loved the look of it. It was my very first Springfield Arms weapon. I wouldn't mind buying a Colt but that is just a little more than my wallet can bear right now. I may get one at a later date

I have a EMP .40. The .40's came with steel frames. They are really well-built guns.

I carry a Colt Pocketlite Mustang .380 and it’s awesome. Pretty sure it’s a 1911 and smaller than the pistol featured in this video. It’s definitely an awesome gun.

I've been carrying this since March of 2022. Incredibly comfortable, Incredibly concealing is easy, highly recommended if you want to carry a compact and stay with the 1911 platform.

I have two of these, I appendix carry one daily and my wife carries in her purse. I changed out the grips to something more similar to the Emissary and they look and perform amazing. This gun shoots better than any other EDC I have ever used!!!
Purse carry is NOT great... hopefully, it's in an isolated holster, secured in the bag.

These are the same reasons i fell in love with the magnum research 1911 .45 4in bull barrel. It would be nice if they had a short barrel .45 that could also mount a flashlight, but its still an awesome firearm.

RIA is unreliable. you get what you pay for. just sent my new m1911a cs back to armscor for ftf and failure to return to battery after each shot. waiting to see what they cone back with/return
@justinhdz03 True. There is servicable inexpensive hardware out there. My comment is a pharaphrase of the reason Mr Noir has given in the recent past for why he doesn't usually review the lower end items.
I've had the Para Ordinance Night Hawg. Over a decade. Tritium night sights. 10+1 .45 Match bull barrel. Enox 2 tone. I've only changed out the extractor for a hardened one. But runs flawless and is a tack driver inside of 75 yards.
I have the EMP and being a 1911 nerd I thought interesting a 9mm 1911. It is a great shooting gun. I did buy it used and there was an issue with feeding rounds but after a little work on the feed ramp its been reliable.
I had the opportunity to shoot this gun at a local range. This gun is so much fun to shoot! For never shooting it before and bringing guns with me that I’ve shot plenty I was surprised how accurate I was with it for it being my first time with it.
That two tone is beautiful
I have a compact Kimber 1911 style pistol in 40 cal that I carry. No complaints about it. I have always trusted the Springfield, Colt and Kimber 1911s.
This is a great carry pistol.
Perfect fit for concealment.
Mine may be full sized but I love my citadel 1911. Ambidextrous manual safety and it shoots really good. I call it my nail driver.

I did so knowing the issues some have had with the 3” model, but what the hell I’m a sucker for a good looking 1911. I even ordered the 4” too. 15 years and still c/c my kimber pro carry2. Best 1911 I have ever owned. Limbers do have their issues. But still love it and going to keep it on me all the time
I was on the edge of buying a Ronin in Spring 2024, 3 months ago as I write. Watched a lot of reviews and read a lot of comments.
When they run right, people love them. But unusually high number of comments about individual pistols just not working right, factory returns still not fixing issues, etc.
I decided on an FNX-9 instead for something more than $200 less.

I carry 2 DanWesson 1911s. But those Springfields are really good shooters and good looking.
Kimber Ultra CDP II has been a go to for years, might stay that way.
Sold my EMP to a buddy of mine a few years back. Sometimes I miss carrying it and how accurate it was for a sub compact carry pistol
I had the first Gen EMP and it was one of my favorite carry pistols. Far more accurate than something with a 3" barrel should be.
My kimber ultra carry looks exactly like that. Great looking gun, i'd use this one.

Kimber also makes the Mico 9 and several other small 1911 options. I'm a true Kimber fan and am interested if you have shot many of them. Springfield is great too.
Great channel and vids. Love my Ronin EMP, the fit in my hands and it’s ease to c.c is a plus. As handsome as the wood on the grips are I replaced them with a Hogue grip because comfort is better than looks. To lighten the EMP even more I load with Liberty Ultra-Light 9mm +P 50gr 2040 fps. It’s a pricey little firearm but worth every penny.
My "BBQ" gun is the 4" EMP Concealed Contour. I fell in love with the EMP grip the first time I picked one up. I love my .45 1911's but my smaller hands fit the EMP frame better.
I have the Ronin Operator .45 ACP. They are really good quality. And I enjoy it. The finish is very nice. Slide feels great. Does have tight tolerances, I have had 2 jams in 400 rounds. It does happen. But maintain it and it’ll work great. Prefer the G43/43x for EDC. But I love these.
I have The Same thing. It's Super Accurate and Reliable with Good Magazines
I have the a ronin full size and it’s great but I got the 9mm because I had a custom mil spec in 45acp., I was thinking I’d have one of each but I kinda wish I’d bought the ronin in 45acp. 9mm doesn’t have the same appeal to me as the 45acp

Only caveat I’ve personally discovered is the use of the silver magazine from S/A only. Use ONLY the S/A made magazine. No OEM version of it. Bullets were jamming almost EVERYTIME I used the OEM blue/black magazine. Not sure why that was happening. Make sure you clean the bullet ramp that your bullet travels up from the magazine too.
Love my Everyday Carry EMP. Yes, I appendix carry.
Feed lips are probably shorter on the black mags. My mil spec likes the wilson combat mags with the longer feed lips.
Handsome is a fantastic description of that gun.
I own this gun and have over a thousand rounds through it. Great shooter , and excellent for concealment. However I’ve had to send it back twice. It had failure to feeds due to feed ramp and the ejector recently broke. The feed problem was known in early models. Also magazines are testy at best. Fragile ends need to be checked regularly. Springfield’s warranty people are great and fixed problems quickly. I don’t watch this channel and this guy seems like a shill. Considering he didn’t mention known problems I would suggest he is. I really enjoy shooting this gun and will continue to use it. But know it is not reliable like polymer guns these days. I’ve shot 1911s for a long time and I’m willing to deal with their inherent short comings.
Magnum research 1911 u is about the same size as that EMP but it's in 45 ACP check it out😊

Got the 9mm and 40sw. Super Accurate, easy to conceal. My trigger is 4lbs on both.
Shoot at 100 yards consistently and you will find it becomes very natural after the first 1000 rounds if you continue to do so.
I say that because shooting is a diminishing skill. Use it or lose it.

I like the ronin but I would slightly disagree as it take proprietary mags along with several other parts that only work in it. I think the colt 1911u and my personal edc the desert eagle 1911u is the true winner of the title smallest true 1911. Keep up the great work your awesome and hopefully more people here your messages!

My CC License (in California) let's me carry 3 guns. I find that I usually carry my EMP 3. My 2nd is a 45acp Springfield 1911. And my trail carry is a Ruger GP100 in 357 mag.

I got the original EMP with the factory G10 grips and night sights. It's too bad they stopped offering those G10 grips because I really like them.
Looks to be the same size as my Kimber Utra Carry ll.
I've got one of its big brothers. The Ronin 4" Commsnderish size. Looks identical but bigger. Then their big brother the discontinued Range Officer i set up for .45 Super.
Just saying I'm happy with both Springfield Armory 1911 type pistols.

I have fired one of these pistols. It wasn’t bad at all , but I carry a .45 edc and (because I grew up with the .45 ) rather carry it instead of a 9mm . And the firearm is pricey.
I have a Colt Defender 45 that fits right in my pocket.
I carry one of these with all EGW parts it's an absolute peach.
Having open carried an original 1911 .45 then concealed the same I'm open to this gun. 9 bullets instead of 7 is a solid improvement.
The Ronin line is a great 1911 value. Want some fun @ColionNoir try the Ronin 10mm! I bought one in January and carry the Underwood 180 XTP load averaging 1328 fps over my chronograph. Zippy and fun to shoot. No problem hitting at 100 yards. The EMP like you said, should simply disappear in concealment. I wish they still did the EMP in 40 S&W.
I'd like for it to get an update with an optics cut and at least a 1 slot rail. Still a good looking gun

I went to the Tulsa gun show last year looking for one for my wife. I found a great deal on a SPRINGFIELD ARMORY GI MICRO 1911 45ACP.
I got my wife a Uzi,,,something she could clean&oil in the dark......
You missed out the best 1911 carry was/is the Springfield Range Officer Compact. Match barrel, 4 inch. I carry it daily .........sadly discontinued.

I had a kimber officers model in 45 ACP. Same design. In the end, did not like the smaller grip, and traded for a ruger lightweight Commander. Don’t have big hands, but I felt I needed the extras real estate on the grip.
Seems perfect for when I wear suit with shoulder holster.
I still carry a gen 3 Glock 43 with an extended mag back up.
I like that it's not bulky and fits in my front pocket.
Just pick the Gen 3 up in the Glock 49...10mm Tennifer Finnish and I threw in the Taran Tactical spring kit for 44 bucks... I threw on a + 2 mag extension and I can still put it in my front pocket... 13 rounds...
The 43 is a Gen 4.
So it still can't touch the 1911 EMP and the trigger pull. Plus who wants them ugly squared-up clunky looking block
One of my favorites....
The earlier version of the EMP 4 CC is a nicer carry option. The 4" version is a plus, the carry contour (bobbed tail) grip reduces chances of printing. There is a 10 round mag available for the EMP 4, the pistol is a perfect copy of the 1911 at about an 80% the size of the .45acp 1911. And the VZ grip option is a great change option to the original SA grip for comfort and feel.
