- Scrolling through the internet, I came across a post that read: “TO PARENTS OF SCHOOL SHOOTING VICTIMS, TRUMP SAYS GUNS ARE ESSENTIAL FOR ‘SECURITY AND ENTERTAINMENT.”
My initial thought was, “Wow, Trump is cold-blooded!” Then I swiped to watch the video.
Now, at first glance, that clip makes it sound like Trump is saying guns are just for fun and games, even to parents who lost their kids in school shootings. But something felt off, so I dug deeper and found his response's full clip.
Now, the way the media cut this video, they made it look like Trump didn’t care about kids dying in school shootings and was more concerned about people having fun with guns. But in reality, he spoke for two minutes about how essential firearms are for safety and security-something they conveniently left out.
Then I came across a Jimmy Kimmel clip. Kimmel showed the same cut-off clip, mocking Trump, saying: "Could you explain your gun control policy to the parents of the victims of school shootings?"and then cut the video short like Trump dodged the question.
This is the kind of media manipulation I’m talking about. Trump gave a detailed response, but Kimmel made it look like Trump didn’t care at all.
Giffords Group and HuffPost: It doesn’t stop there. The Giffords Group titled their article:"Trump to Parents of Murdered Students: We Need Guns for Entertainment.
This is where it gets ridiculous. These outlets know that most people only read headlines and move on, but if you take the time to listen to his full response, it’s obvious that his main point was about security and protection. Yet, they twist it to make him sound cold-hearted.
The Bigger Picture: This kind of dishonesty in the media is insane. It’s not just about Trump-it’s about the Second Amendment, and how every time someone tries to defend it, they’re painted as monsters.
This whole situation just highlights how biased the media can be, especially when it comes to guns and the Second Amendment. If you only saw the headlines, you’d think Trump was out of touch, but when you look at the full context, you realize it’s far from the truth.

Those laws are still on the books. However, there are different judges now, who have peculiar ideas, especially the judges that are appointed in the blue cities, and the Federal Judges that have been appointed by the present Federal Administration.

I found something interesting bidn/cami has given the DOD a directive that the military has the authority to use lethal force against US citizens. They also have made it to bring the draft back. Does anyone feellike something is going to happen?

@berrywine-l9c It isn't so much the military, but other agencies within DoD, especially defense intelligence (like DIA/DCS, and NSA) that have that authority under the directive when it comes to lethal force and operations against US citizens inside the US. That distinction matters, but I can tell you with certainty defense intelligence have their own extremely capable tactical operations units. Some did (possibly still do) conduct missions under JSOC. They not only have ground capability and are not limited to vehicle operations. They have their own aircraft (fixed wing and helos) as well.
I just wanted you to be aware. I do agree with you that something is going to happen. When it does, the intelligence special operations forces teams will be assisted by both law enforcement and the Army National Guard. Depending on what, possibly the Air National Guard and Civil Air Patrol as well.
I'm glad you're letting people know. Hopefully, you're encouraging them to be well prepared (with a group) to deal with this.

If in fact it happened, to many questions from that day. Why did the key players get a free house on the Christmas day the year prior to the event and pay no property taxes on it? Why turkey day decorations on the wall it was in Dec closer to Xmas. Read before this gets zapped.

The exact same thing was done with the whole "very fine people" hoax. Yes, he said there were very fine people on both sides, but he meant both sides of the original protest which started out peacefully, two sides arguing about a statue to be torn down or not torn down. He immediately followed that with "I'm not talking about the neo-NotCs or any of them, they should be condemned". But the media cut that part out.

2 Amendement should include promoting Mental Health because mental health is severely neglected everywhere, even in school that's why school and mass shootings are rampant. For example, philippines has no 2nd Amendment but there's a lot of guns like U.S and has few mass shootings and school shooting? little to non existence because Mental Health is promoted there plus the moral values are taught from the childhood. Sure there's a gun related crimes there but it's not as many as in the U.S. 70% of guns there are loose firearms or unregistered firearms and mass shootings are minimal.

Yet, they're trying to pass a bill in congress to outlaw militias. This, at the same time as the new DoD directive (if you haven't seen it, look it up) regarding DoD using force and conducting operations against US citizens, inside of the US, for almost any reason. They don't even have to get permission for the first 72 hours (if I recall). So, we'd be talking about warrantless arrests and a military tribunal if civil law is suspended due to "an emergency".
The reason I say these two are related? Other than the timing of the two, what is it that the US has (less these days, but we still do) that are meant to stop things like what's in this DoD directive?

The government can protect our kids in schools right now. In an instant. If school shootings were immediately stopped then the gun grabbers would only have inner city shootings to talk about. And we all know why they don't want to talk about that.
To parents of children gunned down at school: why didn't you care enough about your child's security to make sure their school has armed security? Would you put your money in a bank with no security and be shocked when it gets robbed unopposed? Of course not. So why are you opposed to armed staff/security at your child's school? Is your child worth less to you than your money? Why do you fight to disarm lawful people - which will result in more dead children? Do you hate children or something? Do you think if you don't get to have a child, nobody does?
If I lost my child to a school shooting, I would hold the school responsible for not having armed security devoted to protecting children, and especially for not doing something about the problem child sooner. In many cases, the school already knew the shooter was a problem, and failed to get them the help they needed, or to notify the other parents. If I lost my child, I'd be advocating for more competent school administrators, and maybe even have volunteer security where parents with firearms proficiency and time to spare can take turns patrolling the school. Someone with a child attending said school is far less likely to run if there's a school shooting. Look at Uvalde, how the parents with guns were trying to get past the cops - whom stood by and let the shooter win, btw - so that they could stop the shooter.
Like Trump said, it's not the gun that's the problem; it's who's pulling the trigger.
So, parents of children who were murdered, and whom now try to disarm lawful gun owners: Fuck you. You were anti-gun to begin with. You played a stupid game, and won a stupid prize. The Darwin Award goes to you.
If you were pro-2A, but anti-gun shitbags prevented you from having your child protected, well... words can't express how tragic that is, and you're better people than me for not beating the ever living shit out of the school administrators that made policies that got your child murdered. I'd be enraged. Let's work towards a future that protects children, rather than one that disarms the people trying to protect them. Let your loss be the last.
