A big thanks to Eddie Hall for coming out! I hope you all enjoyed the video and thanks for watching!
I enjoyed it much
What, using SCIENCE? Awesome...
Love the slow mo and always great to see Eddie!
Wait a minute... that's not houston jones! The real strongest man in the world!!! Great video!
Dope idea getting Eddie to shoot that 4 bore
You know he means business when the DBZ cap goes backwards
Thanks for an awesome day brother 💪
The heat, humidity and horse flies can f**k off though 😂
Glad you got the authentic Kentucky triple-H combo
HI EDDIE YOUR AWESOME, MUCH LOVE BROTHER!!
😂
You did great man. Especially for never having handled those kinds of beasts.
Made Scott and the 4-bore look normal sized, no easy feat!
What even crazier is that Eddie wasn’t even leaning into the shot like Scott does. He just stood upright and took the full force without losing balance. Dude is a monster
Yeah I thought it was an accidental shot just because he was standing upright when it went off.
Pretty crazy to see Scott look like a normal sized guy.
The opposite myself, I am surprised how close Scott is in size to Hall. Either Hall has lost a bunch of weight or Scott is gigantic.
HuYt power. Lol
@@jimmydesouza4375 they are both same height more or less so that helps, simply Eddie probably has a lot more muscle mass while Scott has ''more fat'' :D even if they both look great, but yeah fat takes more space for the same amount of weight
Eddie is just doing sidequests at this point. He became the world's strongest man, and now he's basically a 40k Space Marine shooting big boomstix.
I like that lol
He’s waiting on gym 2 to drop

The fact that you can see the recoil being shot back through Eddie’s arm. Truly amazing
You guys should've done a predator handshake
you can see his fucking sweat blasting from his body
I bet Autumn could shoot it
Thats a pad of cushion its not his arm at 10:56 look at the padding
I feel for Eddie being in that sweat box, it's so hard to stay composed in that heat!
especially when handling weapons, your adrenaline is pumping so much more bloodflow aswell
I love the scenes of him standing in the background just not being able to deal with the heat. And the seat squirting out of his tshirt from the recoil. I'd be exactly the same. Just not buiilt for heat...
Maybe if a wore a white shirt white pants and a white cap I think he wouldn't sweat that much
You can see the sweat fly off when he shoots the last gun
Poor Eddie
The side by side shots are insane.
Scott can bench 425 lbs (absolutely nuts because that's adding 100 lbs my whole body) and Eddie's arms just drawf his.
Absorbs recoil like no other and is a great sport.
Fantastic video!
Yeah imagine the difference between Eddie and the average guy
Don't know if you watch football or not but check out some videos of Sterling Sharpe. That dude was just over 200lbs and benched 425lbs. Pretty sure Barry Sanders was in that range as well and could squat over 600lbs. So you can lift to be big and lift to be strong. I knew a kid in high school who was benching upper 300's low 400's and he wasn't even close to the size of Scott. He was going to be the next Arnie. Not sure what ever happened to him. I know he broke his thumb skiing so couldn't lift for several weeks and lost over 100lbs off of bench. That's when I decided to stay with throwing around concrete blocks and carrying buckets of mud(mortar) for building strength.
@@Parents_of_Twins
I get what your saying, but body type plays a bog factor as well.
Scott is just naturally a bog dude, but if I remember he weighs in at around that 200 mark.
Big differences between work strong and gym strong, learned that back in high-school. Took Construction Trades and could out work the gym boys in the class without even trying.
Even still, benching 425 pounds is still quite the feat to accomplish. I know I couldn't
@@ShrockWPS Oh yeah wasn't trying to knock anyone. Damn Scott looks a lot bigger than 200. Hell I'm 5'8"on a good day and when I was younger and stronger I weighed 192lbs with 16% body fat. I know that isn't great but I don't think I ever looked that huge. Of course maybe it's my personal perception. Men see themselves as smaller I think some times and women see themselves as bigger. Yeah benching 425 is freaking impressive, wasn't trying to knock that. What I was trying to say is people who look smaller than Scott can bench that as well. Sorry should have made that clear. I see what you are saying, Scott is a big boned dude. Yeah I should have thought of that, oops my bad.
@@Parents_of_Twins
No worries, conveying complete thoughts through a comment section is always difficult.
Scott might be around 230 or so, I just remembered I was shocked how light he was with how much muscle he's got.
I agree with what you're saying though, I'm a big dude 5' 10" and 320. Wish I could say it was mostly muscle, but it's not 😅.
I've seen some small dudes do impressive stuff. Carrying a 6 foot window up a ladder, handle roofing trusses all day and never loose pace.
Never underestimate a small dude with determination 😆
I didn’t realize just how big Scott is. Eddie is an absolute monster yet doesn’t really dwarf Scott.
Eddie isn't really that big of a guy. I think he is only 6'3
I work with 2 guys his size and 2 that are even bigger.
And the smallest guys i work with are scotts size.
Yes they are big compared to our 150-170lbs frames but looking at 6'1 250 vs 6'3 370 isn't really that big of a leap.
@@serenmm it's not just about height
@@serenmm Dude, what? Eddie is 6'2½ and while that isn't that tall compared to someone like Brian Shaw or Hafthor, he still weighs in at around 380lbs. That's about twice as much as the average man. By modern day strongman standard, he's not among the largest. But by any other standard, Eddie is massive.
@@MasterFatnessyeah the dudes a beast. Mariusz wasn’t the biggest guy on the course back in the day, plenty of 6’6+ Vikings, but mariusz DOMINATED pulling the bus without a hand pull rope

I thought that we were gonna get Big and Pretty, but we could end up with a Kentucky strongest vs Demo Ranch Strongest where Eddy and Oberst do a shoot off with some MEATY recoil guns

Me too this is awesome
WOW! That last rifle was a sight! You could have maybe taught him how to shoulder a monster like that before loading it for him, but the fact that his raw power could hold back that behemoth like that is insane. Like he said that thing has scary power. Good on you for also taking that thing like that, wow...Props to this production!
14:22 I love how the recoil both scared the horseflies off Eddie and wrung out his shirt 🤣
He actually makes that 4 bore look like a normal shotgun
Eddie Hall : holding the world strongest recoil
Meanwhile K Ballistic : holding exploding 50 cal sniper
(After dark song played)
It’s great that Eddie is humble enough to put himself in an unfamiliar situation and have fun with it
He knows that’s where strength and growth comes from. I aspire to be like him
I was kind of wondering is this Eddie's first time shooting aren't they illegal in Britain
@@colebrock7036 You're allowed I believe a hunting rifle per household and they're very restricted on capacity and action type(Semi, bolt, or auto). I know pistols are prohibited outside of law enforcement/military and I think shotguns are as well.
@@colebrock7036no not illegal. Well shotguns and rifles aren't. Pistols are banned. Not even cops are allowed to carry pistols.
Shotguns have to be kept at the local range in most cases. For out of country visitors, we had to have all our papers needed (contact the embassy) and we kept possession of our shotguns at all times.
No issues on any of our 3 trips to the UK with semiautomatic shotguns. Mom and I were on team USA and traveling to the world English and world FITASC competitions.
@@soulessshadow5356 we can own double barrel and single shot shotguns and rifles are almost always bolt action or single shot, pistols are also allowed in resricted ways and caliber
While Eddie Hall is an absolute colossal beast of a man, he was not ready for the 4 bore. Improper grip led to his hand slipping off. Still, mighty impressive that he did not move as much.
Can’t blame him tho he was sweating a whole ocean which is why his hands where not grippy at all😂
That guy doesn't need a gun !
He can just hold bullets between his finger tips and squeeze !
You know your training has been going well when you stand next to a World's Strongest Man and he doesn't dwarf you. I knew you were a big guy, but damn man. Very impressive.
Once you go over 350lb you need the additional air from the cpap machine for your lungs to fully inflate because the weight of the chest muscles is too much for the diaphram to inflate without additional effort or assistance. Most strongmen require them.@@thr0nic
@@thr0nic I mean, 'normie-ish', he's still 6'3".

Yes Eddie is known to be a real dude. The fame hasn't gotten to him like alot of famous people. Sure he may get annoyed with people or something but thats normal when everyone is trying to get a picture whenever you're out of the house

The fact that you're 100lbs lighter than him and don't look that much smaller than him is both amazing and terrifying. Good job on both of your physiques

@@TheChilKatbro that’s like featherweight class 😂 wouldn’t call that “big”. I feel you tho, it’s hard af for tall skinny guys to add mass. Took me 4 years just to gain 15lbs and lost it all in 1 month quitting the gym 😢

A collaboration I thought I'd never see but I'm so happy to see it. HOLY COW SCOTT IS A HUGE DUDE.
Naww, Eddie has just gotten small! Lol JK!
Scott finally got back to benching 350 lbs. since his accident with the .50 cal
He went up to 400 lbs
Ya i would not mess with scott, and thats before you factor in the guns that make you into meat soup! 😂
He used to be a bit larger. A slap round did a little more than slap him when it caused an.50 rifle to explode and nearly took Scott's life.
Eddie seems like such a cool dude, I havent seen a single collab from him yet where he was anything other than awesome!
That revolver is probably one of the only pistols that he could hold, without it looking like a toy in his hand. Also the results are even more impressive, considering that both guys are huge. So even the more experienced guy is benefiting from large amounts of muscle mass as well.
I think it's interesting how different the technique between the two is. Scott is trained to allow his body to move to some degree, allowing his body to absorb and redirect the recoil. Eddie's raw strength allows him to power through the recoil and directly fight it with his own strength.
Trying to block the rifle from moving will make it hurt more. Shoulder forward, hard couple to the rifle; then roll with it. Eddie seems to have been placing the stock in a location that hurt more than necessary.
@@rickoshea8138 he also has a bad shoulder already I believe
I think bug man just didn’t shoulder the rifle
@@rickoshea8138 Yes, but the point of the video was to see who could control the recoil better not make it hurt less. 😭😂
I bet Eddie woke up bruised to hell and back the next day.
The way the sweat was knocked off Eddie by the 4 bore was just impressive. That gun is insane!
I thought something went horribly wrong at first
The buttstock was like a squeegee 😁

Yeah, I was about to say lol. The sweat bounced off. I had to laugh at him already being drenched with sweat at 4:44 of the video lol. Wrong day to wear black.
he also had a pad on his shoulder that soaked up a bunch of sweat
I have watched many of your videos while recovering from shoulder reassembly, so I have cringed at the thought of any recoil for a while! After watching this, I expected there to be some variation between the two of you based only on mass, but could easily see that strength adds to the control equation! I am curious if you or any other like minded channels have tried to evaluate the concussive impact on the body outside of recoil from the firing position? Sound and shockwave only? Thanks!
Dude I love watching Eddie on facebook clips he puts up. Hes got a heart of gold. Hes got even more of my respect shooting that stuff especially being a UK guy that he is and you've got more respect now knowing how powerful those canons actually are to the worlds strongest man with you being a smaller guy than him though not small a man. Its always impressed me how you shoot those hand canons. If I shot a 500 it would probably fly out of my hand. Respect.
The craziest part to me is how fast he recovers from the recoil. Much respect both of these gentle giants.
Was searching for this comment. His ability to get right back on target is crazy.
@@brandonrestivo9181 cheers mate! It is absolutely nuts.
Scott went back on purpose to take away a lot of the damaging push back. He set up Eddie for failure for inexperience
@@llamacebu216 exactly, can you imagine the difference it would be if someone like Eddie had more experience, it would look insane
This is exactly what I was thinking. Absolutely insane
The difference in stance is quite astonishing too. Scott steps and leans right in and Eddie is almost stood straight lol
Exactly! Eddie would have been an "immovable object" with just a little more experience and coaching re: stance, holds, and recoil! Impressive as heck!
@@MichaelWhite-cx4ho agreed 💯
Much of Eddie's recoils were the buttstock moving into his bicep and deltoid. If he was coached a bit about pushing/burying that buttstock into his bicep/deltoid and gripping as hard as he must have done to dead lift 1100 pounds, I believe Eddie could achieve a few more world records re: least recoil when firing MONSTER firearms!
Now that you mention it it's insane how different they shoot, with how much effect that has on recoil i think with a bit of training Eddie could have VERY good recoil skils
@@davonmulder8458 absolutely 👍
I don't think Eddie was expecting that last 1 to go off when it did!
Outstanding video!!
Glad to see how far you have came. I remember watching the first videos you made and now are doing very well making a living from UA-cam. Keep It Up Brother!!!
Just imagine how much more recoil Eddie could have absorbed had he been properly hydrated...
And if he had experience. It looks like he didn't know what to expect from each shot. Last one took his hand off the grip. With some practice he could probably get around 4x better than the average 250lb dude 😂
@mrkiky he's a British guy so its even more impressive, he probably never even held a gun until he was already a adult.
@@mrkiky especially those big bore rifles I think practice with them would help. Even someone who has shot a before would thrown by something that big.

That was crazy to be able to see the comparitive difference between experience vs pure strength i did not expect that at all
Eddie is one of the nicest, funniest guys and really super kind. Im a big fan of his, just as a person, let alone his unbelievable strength
This just goes to show how big Scott actually is, because Eddie Hall is HUGE! Awesome collaboration! Loved seeing it.
I know it made my eyes bug out a little.
And the mass is what it is all about. The total gun weight includes the mass that the shooter can attach to the gun, which reduces the effects of the recoil.
I was thinking the same thing!
Yeah but Eddie is actually pretty small for a strongman height wise, he is 6'3" so scott is about your average tall dude
its crazy that there is 100 lbs between them because eddie is about the same height as scott

You guys definitely needed to hydrate after that day. Eddie is THE BEAST. Another great video, thank you Scott and Eddie!
Eddie's muscle helped him maintain his position, but Scott's experience helped him maintain his hands' position and grip on the gun. The 4 bore slipped right out of Eddie's fingers, but Scott maintained his grip even as he stumbled backwards. Really interesting to see!
Yeah. I don't think Eddie was prepared for that recoil, but I'm glad he didn't suffer an injury from it
yea my first thought was that any advantage Eddie had with strength and weight (which really isnt much, KB is already massive) would be cancelled out by KB's vast experience handling firearms. Just because youre strong enough to handle the recoil doesnt mean you know how to take it
Imagine if Eddie had the same experience though. You can see his stance isn't great but he still barely moves.
Exactly with eddie the gun moves more than he dose

He grossly underestimated the kick from that artillery piece. In the hands of ANYBODY else, we would have seen some injury! If Eddie had more shooting experience, the result would have been even more impressive. But at 200$ a pop...

@@kurtwpg IK,R?
You can really tell that although KB has less mass to slow the recoil, he has worked out all the balancing muscles that play into the unique resistence workout that comes with shooting guns, meaning if we shrunk Eddie down to KB's size, Eddie would for sure be even more unruly with the response to the recoil as we see in this video. Eddie was less balanced than KB with the shots, even if he moved less.
Shooting guns is alot like setting up for a bench press when you tense everything up. Helps with recoil when shooting big boy guns and helps reinforce you shouldnt guess when your pulling the trigger, you should know exactly when that gun is going off
14:21 That special touch that the aching shoulder has been begging for.
Would've been halarious to see Eddie's reaction if Scott brought out the punt gun thinking he'd have to shoulder fire it. Great collaboration though.
You know if anyone can shoulder fire that thing it's probably world's strongest man
It would also be hilarious.
Haha true
Not only was the recoil reduction pretty significant with Eddie, his reset was really quick as well. Truly, the Beast.
That was what I noticed most, Scott almost takes a bit of a step back after the initial recoil and counts it in his total, but that initial recoil wasn't that much worse than Eddie's on some shots.
On most of the handguns, and some rifles, it was hard to notice. But on the larger rifles... @@MusicalJackknife

When Eddie said “It’s not just the bang into the shoulder, it’s that the atmosphere changes for a split second and you don’t know where you are” haha man if he didn’t hit that spot on.
I shoot a lil 12 gauge and you can feel the concussion around when you pull the trigger haha, i couldnt imagine these elephant guns
Smart, yall match up good peaople want more collaboration from yall two for sure.💯
That was freaking cool!😂👍 Great video!
This absolutely puts into perspective the absolute UNIT that Scott really is standing next to THE BEAST! What an AWESOME video. More collabs like this!
i met eddie a couple years back and the guy is unreal! you know like some people his size want you to know they will crush you just for looking in their direction. eddie, really soft spoken, so respectful and there to help anyone in need. what a true gentleman he is. gentle giant kinda describes this man more!
That is because he could crush you between his fingers 😂
with great power comes great responsibility
Branch Warren and Andy Haman have entered the chat. Honorable mention: Jens Pulver
A real man doesn't make you fear him. A real man makes you feel safe and comforted, because a real man is always soft spoken and calm. There's no need for aggression from a real man, because real men take care of you.
Anyone trying to push around their weight, and let you know that you're just dirt under their boot, aren't real men.
Real men have muscles so they don't have to use them.
Toxic assholes have muscles so they can show them off, and make you feel insignificant. Because they care about showing off, and stroking their ego because they're insecure about themselves
He a good guy. Who just happens to huge beyond huge
Never seen this channel before, but Scott reminds me of a beefy Stephen "Wonderboy" Thompson. Great video!
"... can stop a bullet."
"WHAT!" 😂😂
14:21 you can see the recoil knock the sweat off of Eddie😂
What's truly amazing is that Eddie was back on target as Scott was at the height of his recoil.
Yeah, that's wild. I wonder what it would look like if he and I were to shoot, say, my .44 Redhawk back to back. With anything hot in it, it takes a noticeable amount of time (half a second? Three quarters?) before I can take another (accurate) shot. I'm a little feller (5'9", 150 lbs).
I think it's just down to science at this point, acceleration vs mass and stuff. But it would be really interesting to see a regular guy vs Scott vs that monster, haha! Or, more telling, another Scott-sized guy who doesn't shoot vs Scott.
I think recoil happens so fast that experience doesn't matter with regard to how you get rocked physically. Hot .44 is about all I can hit with, and I'm kinda little, I bet it rocks me back a predictable, repeatable amount more than bigger guys who've never even fired a gun before at the same rate as, say, Scott, and I assume Eddie (doesn't strike me as a gun guy) would suck it up even better.
God Loves You🙏🏻❤️
@@jacksonscrivner3114 🤦
Scott , you are always entertaining; and fascinating, And Full of laughs
This was awesome!
The recoil knocking the sweat off of him at 14:26 is insane.
Looks more like the pad in his shirt to absorb recoil is coming apart...
Also a hand slipped off. A hand grabbing gun with full force.
@@alexturnbackthearmy1907That's the thing, he wasn't grabbing it with full force. You can tell he's not.
He's not leaning into them, pulling the gun back into his shoulder, OR gripping with his hands tightly.
He has no rifle experience and he still took the recoil better than Scott by 50%.
thats his muscle lol
@@bl4558 I was looking at that and wondering "what's in his shirt??" it kept slipping around lol
As someone who’s 140lb that last gun would send my shoulder off into orbit 😂💀 y’all are beasts!
Im sure we’d both be blown into the atmosphere
we'd prob make it to mars before elon
Straight shoulder dislocation at least!
As someone who enjoys guntube but has never fired anything more serious than a 20gauge loaded for skeet shooting, I'm pretty sure the 4bore would either tear my arm off (if I lost my grip) or would just fold my spine the wrong way until my head touched my heels (if I somehow held onto it).
@@YaBoiZackbannedmefordissent 😂😭🤣
This is now my favorite video.
And mad respect to Eddie Hall becoming a social media superstar.
Shooting those high recoil rifles consecutively must have been felt in the shoulder the next morning
Eddie isn’t only a beast, he’s a good athlete. He naturally understands weight transfer and balance. If he didn’t, his muscles wouldn’t help that much. He’s also as cool as it gets with a great sense of humor. Love watching him with Brian Shaw. That was impressive. Eddie carry’s around 2 huge guns with him all the time anyways.
he needs to get brian shaw over there next, that would be so cool.
I knocked eddie on his arse,
When he attacked me with a Knife in rural scotland.
Eddie was hired by our local kiddy fiddling cop Sam Brown.
So police are reluctant to investigate themselves.
Eddies a Pawn !
Yeah he did dumb well rock climbing with magnus mitbo
I felt so bad for Eddie in that heat and humidity. Working conditions were brutal. Very cool though that he could hold that steady even being totally unfamiliar with those guns and their recoil.
Especially being from a country that rarely gets like that
Yeah th recoil might have been less if he had more experience. Just from his stance you could see he wasn't familiar with shooting rifles as he didn't lean in and snuggles up the butt to his shoulder.
The 4 bore literally wrung the sweat out of eddies shirt
If there's anything that Eddie Hall knows how to avoid, it's being dehydrated
Yeah it must be so hard shooting guns and making youtube videos💀
Eddie's "What!?" Cracked me up way more than it should've.
The sweat coming off Eddie in the slowmo. 😂
The biggest surprise in this video was how little joking Eddie did. That was the most serious video I have ever seen with him. 😂
He respects the potential danger and incalculable danger that may rear its filthy self. That is why, DANGER =RESPONSIBILITY. HE IS NOT A CHILD!!!
@@chrismarsden8958……what? That’s ridiculous. There is nothing dangerous about joking and laughing when NOT handling a loaded firearm.
It's the heat I suppose
def pissed about the heat
Well I would assume it was the heat dude was looking like someone dumped a five gallon bucket of water on him being out in the sun with humidity is no fun if you ain’t used to it
