“We’re gonna need a bigger boat”....🦈....That’s an outstanding stretch of water. I could very easily spend a week going up and down that river. Once again, Great video Brother!!
John I thought the sound and video were spot on! Ok John! Usually you go overtime! Was the 3 hours 5? Lol prolly! That’s one of the things I like about you!! A true fisherman!!
Love your fishing shows and you sharing God's Word is a blessing! Thank you for that! You and Fishing With Nordbye should do a show together. Two fishing anglers that love Jesus! 🙂
The sound seemed fine and I really like the two-camera setup front and back. You get a better view of the area around you. Thanks for all your efforts, we all enjoy your trips.
Thank you for your videos. Great fishing. And VERY good quality!!! The clearest I’ve seen on you tube. Thank again !!! River certified and you videos are top notch 👍🏻
I just bought a Rebel Craw today. I was fishing a small creek that feeds into the Conasauga just south of the Ten/Ga line. All I caught was a small Crappie. A solid 15-17 inch bass looked at everything I tossed her way but never bit. Glad I got to see someone catch some fish today 🤣
You caught Old Gus!! Ever see that Andy of Mayberry episode? Great video! Enjoyed the camera behind you like that, it was like I was sitting in the back of the kayak and you would look back Andrew talk to me! Audio was fine on my phone. I liked when you pulled me upstream with you. I was sitting back there eating a Debbie cake and drinking a Dew!
That is a great episode! ''Old Sam''. Tucker's Lake, caught by Howard Sprague. Caught him using potato salad that was left-over from lunch. I don't get to see it often because MeTV only shows the black & white episodes. Stupid, but they think that the color ones are no good because Barney is gone. There are nearly as many good color episodes as there are b & w. And only 3 color seasons vs 5 b & w.
I just started fly fishing and have caught several bluegill and sunfish. Dying to catch a bass or any other bigger fish. Any reccomendation on fly for bigger fish?
John,John,John! That Buffalo was awesome! One thing though, is that would make me crazy trying to keep track of the kayak paddle. Every thing else though is awesome. Beautiful river. Love your vids.God bless.
The camera work was great. The two separate angles worked. I would prefer that you have the microphone with you. On the distance shots it was distracting to have the audio unsteady. And, you find the most picturesque places to fish. Well done.
You need to score a old backpack with the waist and chest straps. Cut everything off except the back pieces and the straps and tie the leash to the lower part of it. It's almost like you're not dragging the kayak behind you with that setup. Also helps when dragging it across the ground too.
its fun to see someone else fish the same creeks I have fished for years, more than I care to mention. lol but you do a great job and I look forward to the scripture at the end.. you got an open invite to fish with me and my son's one day, we got a few places we go, just down the road a little bit in Dalton tight lines and God bless.
What I would give for rock-bottom rivers and creeks around here. We've got mostly sand. Basically, quicksand: you better be ready to bail out of your waders or galoshes if you don't move quickly, due to the suction. But if you can traverse it, you can find some excellent smallies and channel cats, and closer to the Appalachians, (the rivers just East of them in Va, like the Smith River), have some MASSIVE brookies and brown trout, if you're willing to hoof it into "Heart of Darkness" territory. There are more stone-bottom paths there, but they're typically deep, so us poor people without watercraft have to hold to overhangs along the edges. Heh, who says fishing is relaxing? :P
That was a decent carp. What a way to add to a video. Glad you kept your cool and got it in especially on the lighter tackle you were using. Sound quality was barely audible.
Great video. I really enjoy how show that sometimes fishing does take work. Because I have Muscular Dystrophy I am not able to do what you do. I still enjoy fishing. I love your new camera set up. Is there a way you could use both the mic in the back of your kayak and a lapel?
A good fishing Kayak with all the basic features one needs for a good fishing experience. If you're going to be on the water for a long period of time, get a stadium seat that fits, and your all set.
Awesome video that was weird that fish dragged you it kind of remind me of catfish Hunter in grumpier old men I think I also noticed a train trestle at 1:28 in this video I wonder if that railroad line is still being used
This year is the first time I've done small moving water to any degree, it is awesome! I used to tournament bass fish, which was great, but there is so much fun in creeks.
I think the sound was great. A little lower than normal, but I have a volume button, so no problem 😂😂 Most important is that even near background noise, like running water, your voice was clear and easily distinguished. Doesn't really sound like any need to go back to a mic unless you hit some very specific circumstances.
Went out today trying to catch my first Coosa bass. Didn't get one, but I'm going to another spot next weekend. Your videos made me want to catch some. Keep it up!!!!!
Got behind on my c.f.a.videos just watched the last 2 videos congratulations on the growth of your CHANNEL you make great videos and I am happy for you
Maybe it’s just me man but the camera quality looks WAY better. Not that the quality was bad on the others but this one seems more clear and crisp. You do a great job man!!
Well my great uncle always called a carp a bugle mouthed bass, and would laugh when I caught one. As a kid the biggest I caught was 13lbs.caught on a cane pole on dough bait made out of bran flakes and big red soda. That's a killer dough bait. Cool video and I think you really do need a fishing show.
That was a really nice Carp! I got my first one on a lure last year (Ned Rig) and it was on my 4'6" GX2 Ultra Light. Took literally 20 minutes to get him in on that 4lb mono, but I nabbed him. I didn't have a scale that day, but I'd estimate between 15-20lbs and he was around the size of yours. I recommend trying to target them some time, they are loads of fun if you can get them to bite. More of a passive style of fishing, but nothing fights like a carp. Also, I thought the angles and camera work and everything were excellent in this video. Audio was a bit quiet at times when your mic was behind you, but not too bad. Great stretch of river you're fishing, too.
@ 18:50 that's a beautiful set, the bridge looks like it's floating
To me, good audio is is the most important component. Thanks for your videos. I can show them to my grandsons and know they will be family friendly.
That was a buffalo. A big ol native fish. Nice catch!
You'd think with the yellow fins and tail its be a common...
@@jasonsparks4601 Right, grass carp. I would have to look real close again but buffalo have horns on their head.
Yeah, looks like a buffalo to me too. Sometimes they're difficult to distinguish from carp though.
@@jasonsparks4601 I don't see any barbels (also called whiskers) also there is a definite lateral line.
@@williambellisIII the prominent lateral line and no barbels (that I could see at least) make me believe its a buffalo.
John needs a show on the outdoor channel. It’s all hunting on there mostly. I'd definitely set my dvr to some CFA.
dont make him too popular ;o) I like him just the way he is.
i have thought it would be interesting to have a show where somebody went to different towns and fished the creeks, i would watch it
@@CreekFishingAdventures So would I! You've got my vote of confidence!
So much fun to watch you, I fish vicariously thru you. When you catch the pan fish, I go back to my youth & can taste the fish & cornbread, 😋

carps in europe also take small baits.Especially sth like the hellgrammite is food. Beautifull fish btw. They really fight!
Great catch on that big fish. It was a Smallmouth Buffalo. Not related to carp, but look similar.
No, lol, its a freaking common carp, look at the body depth and compare it to a buffalo. Google both of them and put the pictures next to each other.
@@froggleggers1805 100% Smallmouth Buffalo.

Definitely a smallmouth buffalo. A rare catch on a rod and reel.

haha, every cast i show
That was a smallmouth buffalo. They are native suckers.

Always fun when the fish are biting and bonus when you get the big fish always fun time and as always great scenery great video

Awesome smallmouth buffalo! Never seen one caught on a jig like that.
Love the angle from the rear of the kayak.
That’s a buffalo you got at 15:48
The Conosauga has a nice water tint, very green and so alive. It must be a pleasure to fish, definitely a beautiful creation of God.
