Custom stainless with a nice muffler will always sound best but the eBay ones arnt bad bang for buck, definitely get a high flow cat. I'm running a Bluetooth exhaust on my falc atm that sounds pretty good aswell lol
Some people say stainless sounds better, some say mild steel sounds better, so wasn't sure. Haha, might have to try the old Bluetooth exhaust! Lol
Keep the 4499s don't gut the cat otherwise you will smell harsh exhaust fumes trust me cause I've done it before lol. Viper 100cell cat and 2 1/2 straight through exhaust 1 muffler and optional rear tail pipe with or without hotdog. I'd go with a hotdog to eliminate low end drone still get a nice tone. But up to you💪
I think the cat is stuffed, already get bad fumes... was slightly better after changing the O2 sensor recently, but still isn't great. Was only just gonna do it to see what it sounded like before I put a Viper 100 cell on it.
@@efxr6538 or no muffler just straight thought to a rear hotdog or hotdog where the muffler is and straight pipe out. Heaps of options
I currently only have 1 muffler, so will just go with a high flow cat and one muffler in my new set up I think.
Cleanest e series I've seen and I'm from nz. Just a question have you experienced a electric window and radio that doesn't work. But everything else works like lights etc.
The FM on my radio doesn't currently work, but AM does, which is weird. I've had broken electric window regulators, but still get power to the motors, just a plastic bit broken off, so window wouldn't go up. Maybe you have a fuse out?
Im running the Pacemaker 4499 headers, 100cel hi flo from Performance Exhaust into 2 1/2" redback sports for my ED and its mint mate 👌 ... stainless is ok but I hear they get crusty pretty quick.

Assuming you got your 4499's second hand for pretty cheap? Did you paint them?
I've been thinking about what options too. I'm still running the old Coby 2.5 with a mid muffler delete which sounds angry and load
I'm thinking keep the 4499's, just get them ceramic coated, then get a 100 cell high flow cat and 2.5 inch Redback with just one muffler before the diff.
Or maybe a hot dog just before the diff instead of a muffler? What do you think?
Always hard decisions with exhaust
Yeah, had the car 21 years, on my 3rd cheapo redback exhaust! They are cheap and sound alright, but rust quick.
