quick question - why do you always talk about your cars power in horsepower? We normally measure power in KW in australia. Horsepower is imperial and every time someone says how much HP they have, i have no idea what that is in KW unless i google a conversion. My fg makes 354KW with similar mods to yours. A tune and basic supporting mods definitely turns these into a whole different monster!
@@jerryking7772 yea i know roughly the conversion but i was puzzled as to why an australian dude, making videos about his australian built car would be measuring his power in american imperial numbers. Couldn't possibly be to inflate the numbers so it sounds better? We use KW, not horsepower. Killometers, not miles. Metric, not imperial etc. Im not trying to be a jerk, its just a personal peev of mine.
@@richo1333 There are plenty of us old school guys still around that talk in horsepower and imperial sizes plus we know both. For eg i was in primary school when metric first came in and so when i entered the workforce as an apprentice engine reconditioner everything was still measured in imperial and it literally took decades for metric to completely take over as a lot of engines retained their imperial sizes even with bolts. I remember some fords had a mixture of imperial and metric bolts what a shambles that was.

Let's face it the first MOD is useless and you've only done it for noise. The air enters the turbo and is instantly heated up by the turbos own heat hence why you run an intercooler. MOD 2 is also useless and is only done for the noise. MOD 3 is the first useful MOD worth doing that you've mentioned. MOD 4 is spot on but it should be done after you've got good tyres put on or just before you put good tyres on. Good suspension will quickly show you how crap your tyres are and vice versa. MOD 5 is also good. First MODs should be wheels and tyres, followed by suspension and brakes. With a good foundation you can then add power. Start with an exhaust and better intake including intercooler. Once that's done get a tune. Most will be happy with that. If you want more power then go with better valve springs, bigger injectors, bigger fuel pump and then get it tuned again. If you still want more then you need to look at getting better manifolds or a bolt on plenum. You'll get better flow, faster spool and if you've done everything right you will be ready for a larger turbo if you are still wanting more power than you can handle.

Clean for 190km on the clock.. like your honestly, upgrade the suspension, rattles your tail bone. Also great that for an AUTO you dont promote the "drone". The air intake, does this meet roadworthy or needs engineering certification for a pinch more performance?
Put your coil pack cover on
I have a ls1 and I always beat vf ss I've stayed beside a maloo same with a G6 turbo and beat a AMG and the only thing to smash me was a F6
gotta love the sound of a ls tho..
Keep up the good work mate !
Exhaust is half done. New exhaust with drop pipe 3 1/2 to 4 inch and cat. Basically want it from Turbo back. You're missing out with that exhaust.
what are the wheels ?
Rota grid wheel's
2.5 mod=earls Turbo braided oil line
Miss my old xr6 turbo. Got an el xr8 now and it's no fun to drive.
I love my EF. Only a 4ltr but she's clean as.
Currently own a 07” bf Fairmont ghia and I now wanna sell it for a fg xr6 turbo 😂
Just bought the ba xr6 turbo with a garret turbo first one and am in fucking love got it int the phantom purple with the custom interior
Mod 1 for autos - EXTERNAL TRANS COOLER
I drive a GU why is this in my recommendations?
ask Google/UA-cam
VibranceVFX ok boomer
Steve Smith Fkn Child
VibranceVFX you’re the one asking someone why their video is in their recommendations cob.. it’s a UA-cam algorithm. Clearly you were searching up other car videos or watched a falcon video and UA-cam suggested it. It’s not like the guy who made this video hacked your account and made it come up 😂
Steve Smith pfff ok boomer
I would but im too poor to own a turbo haha, i got an N/A and still im too poor to afford 1k and over mods like that haha
F6 rear bar and side skirts, Sunroof, Leather interior
Sunroof mod? You're crazy. No thanks. Asking for trouble.
Swipez what’s wrong with a sunroof?
@@goldberg7995 rust leaking water etc.
tle1977a not if you get someone to do it professionally lol
You need a meth pipe to drive a falcon absolutely undrivable without it.
Do the oil feed next Zac! Otherwise remove the micro filter from near the banjo
It will be a sad day when you move on to another car Zac!
I hope when that time comes you'll do as I did and hold on to your FG as well.
Already sold now :(
First mod should be to clean the spare wheel.
Didn’t see manual transmission on the list
kyranoscopy why go slow?😉
Manual isn't for millennials. Sad but true.
Sour Words literally the dumbest thing I’ve ever read
quick question - why do you always talk about your cars power in horsepower? We normally measure power in KW in australia. Horsepower is imperial and every time someone says how much HP they have, i have no idea what that is in KW unless i google a conversion. My fg makes 354KW with similar mods to yours. A tune and basic supporting mods definitely turns these into a whole different monster!
Kw to HP add 25% from memory.
Good video bro, u know how capable these Barra's are. Just ask Dandy Engines
The ONLY people that think turbo flutter sounds cool are people who have turbos that flutter
Hell yea man. I can choose to make mine either dose or sneeze, dose is way better. Get yourself one.
Everyone loves a good dose
@@MV60 and destroy ya turbo I'm the process
@@joshbarker432 Ha ha, how? This will be good...
@@MV60 the fact you don't know how isnt good! 😂
Hey bro , most of us on UA-cam started watching you with your n/a xr6 fg falcon journey which we all loved , so now your baging n/a fg falcons , come on bro I love my n/a xr6 falcon , personally I think that n/a barras sound better than the turbo wind up toys that sound shit , just my opinion , , best not to shit on your original bread and butter .😉
Tubo barras sound fine as long as ur not feeding air back through the turbo like a wanker
100% agree BC XR6
that sound you are hearing is called surge. not good for any turbo.
no
it's only bad if it's occurring under load and on throttle you spud
@@tassiedingo yes what you are saying is correct under load with the hot air going backwards through the turbo and being compressed again and increasing the temperature higher each time it dose that.
next time don't say spud. the comment was made for referance of the sound.
You never remove the blow off valve if you do this will damage the turbo due to pressure surge when you shut the throttle the pressure has no where to go so it back purges into the compressor wheel this damages the compressor the shaft bearings/bushs and the seals only an idiot would do this
Has been dis proven a million times
@@ir0nal3x97 it has not been disproven if it had no turbo manufacturer would use them blow off valves are there to relieve the damaging back pressure to the compressor wheel this damages the turbine blades and shaft I've used turbos since 1987 & damaged many due to back pressure
Hey mate, ill be honest im not into new aussie cars. Nevertheless your content is very enjoyable and professional. Keep it up and I may even get into new falcons :))
Things I'd do to an xr6t fg
1. Upgrade the icc to a kayhan android auto system
2. Wrap the bonnet, roof, and boot in black, I'd think that would look sick on your car
3. Upgrade the turbo for power
4. Tune to make 600hp
5. Xforce performance exhaust
Hi Zac luv ya channel and thanks I got a discount from Mitchell at Mackielec he's awsome great bloke I get all my work done through him also got my cold side intake and battery relocation also got intercooler pipe replacement kit and he just did my suspension lowered looks mint and drives awsome just saving for a tune he's taking my FG to XR6 Developments can't wait 👍🏻
Not having a BOV or a recirculating BOV will damage the turbo
Yeah gay.
simple vids are best
Hey Zac I've seen your falcon around maybe you should race me one day
Every time you get me when you say ''Falcon'' it sounds like ya saying fawlken bruh
Deleting a blow off valve is NOT a good modification.. yeah sounds hectik but its not a good idea
James Stevenson dont try and say it damages the turbo cause that is full of shit 😂😂
Oh James... why are you so dumb?
@@meathead2575 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 you tell me champ
@@meathead2575 please explain your reasoning and prove your results as to why a blow off valve delete is a good modification?
It's personal preference James.
Thousands of cars not running bov have never had issues
I'm sorry but u clearly have no idea what what u are talking about. Anyone who wants to own a fg turbo falcon should , n.1 delete the faulty heat exchanger that is very prone to fail and pump water into the trans, so setup a aftermarket cooler . N.2 the 6 hp26 are not strong enough for the turbo engine and very common in snapping the input shaft . Anyways there is a lot mods that have to be done to these vehicles before u would even think of stupid exhaust mods and so on
Okay dad 🥔👍
@@joshuawaugh300 haha U wish 😘
