It’s 4 cups of crushed strawberries (4 cups measured when crushed not whole) to one pack of pectin. Follow instructions on package.

good question! 5 minutes for fruit jams and jellies. Things like meat and foods without vinegar require 10 minutes or longer, usually done in a pressure cooker.

The voiceover is kind of a disappointment on the last one. I thought Martha was doing a fantastic job. Still a very good series for rookie jam makers. She explains the "why' instead of just giving a series of steps to follow blindly.
