    I have never canned anything before & made this for the first time tonight. I was apprehensive about putting them in the water bath, but thankfully nothing exploded & hearing my 5 jars ping afterwards was very satisfying! My mom already asked me about blueberry jam 😄 TY!

    I’ve been watching you for a few months now. I love your videos. You explain everything so well.
    I have to say, you seem to be perfect in every way.
    You’re so well rounded, so knowledgeable in so many different areas too. You’re so well spoken, so well mannered, so well groomed, I mean, I watch you and I think my goodness, is there nothing this guy can’t do, he seems so perfect and you really have it together.
    I’m sure there is, but it sure doesn’t seem like it!
    Your mother and your grandma, did an excellent job raising you, my goodness. Keep up the great videos, you are helping so many people. Thank you so much! 😊

    We are celebrating our oldest daughter’s 40th birthday today. Main dish, Lasagna made by yours truly. Cheesecake for dessert. A couple of us are also bringing fruit sauces for topping the cheesecake. You’ve inspired me to make a Peach sauce. I did it last night. Just checked it, it’s great! Thank you.

    This should have more views because I’ve watched a ton of the canning jam videos and yours is by far the best and most comprehensive. Thanks. Just did 5 jars using your method.

      Who watches vertical videos? Also, why strain out the jam and add it back again. Waste of time IMO

    • @jpneal10
      @jpneal10 5 місяців тому

      @@Wankidy you overcook the berries if you leave them in boiling for the time needed to come to temp but make it the way you like it.

    • @Wankidy
      @Wankidy 5 місяців тому

      @jpneal10 they are no longer berries, are they? Overcooking the berries is the whole point. But like you said, you do it the way you like it.

    Love how you sterilized your jars!!! I hate doing canning because its such a pain in the butt to sterilize the jars...& putting them in the oven kind scares me (not sure why...I have glass baking dishes & pie plates).... this makes it seem much more doable and not such a mess!!!!! Gonna have to try this!!!!
