I have another nice combo for massive damage! use the blaster stance and the crossguard and do a point blank parry, switch to crossguard and use the power move for a guaranteed hit. thats two massive damage skills right after another! and the best thing is that you can actually parry red unblockable attacks with the point blank shot! I have a very small clip on my channel for that parry and two stance combo
Here is a combination I use a lot for single and double lightsaber, It’s hard to time but it’s worth it, It killed zeif in less than a minute on gm Vortex dive- rising storm (Switch into single) aerial assault immediately after rising storm and then aerial assault
U have another very simple combo but it is much more late game it uses the dual wield. You need the dash in the single blade and the throw in dual wield so what you do is you throw a lightsaber and that makes the game think you are using the single blade so you can close the distance using the dash and is very good at getting bakc into the fight also using range it is a combo that I love using.
Ive seen so many people say the stance switching is too slow. Its not. You just have to time it in between moves and its almost instantaneous. You can swing the saber, press the d-pad, and your next strike comes from your other stance. Its pretty fluid if you do it mid combo, so you could potentially connect these combos together if you have the force for it
ngl it feels slow on pc like i pay press c but when i do i know 100% that its gonna take like 3 seconds to swap maybe thats cuz the other one is cross guard idk but swapping does not feel like something id do mid battle
Using Crossguard & Blaster Stance makes Cal super OP. I love playing with those two stances, if you cycle between the two, you can pull off insane combo chains. If you've maxed out your force abilities, pulling and pushing enemies and slicing the stragglers down is like second nature.
Blaster is something I want nothing to do with. It's just not what makes the game good. The challenge is from all jedi games, right back to Jedi Knight was being an actual Jedi and not having a blaster to deal with ranged foes. Crossguard is massive for dealing with heavy foes.... but I feel standard is the most useful against any foe.
Blaster feels pointless due to no free aim. I never have a problem hitting airborne enemies with a saber throw and for distance you can just sprint to them. Otherwise you have to lock-on but problem is, it locks on to the nearest enemy, so then you have to cycle thru the enemies but you can't stand still or you'll get hit by near by enemies, so if you're moving around locking on and cycling thru enemies it's just quicker and easier to run to the distant enemies. And point blank is kinda crap since you need ammo, why not just parry in that case?
Here is a hidden combo from dual wield stance. From range hold L1 and press triangle for saber trow, then right after hit the square and Cal will do something similar to single blade dash atack.
It's because while you throw away one saber, the game switches you into single blade stance for a few moments (because you throw the shorter saber first). You can use that to perform any single blade move in that time period. It's a really great detail.
Yes I found this out when I was on the shattered moon for the first time I threw my saber and it let me do the dash ability from single stance. Definitely helped out on GM
Best move in the game: While Cal embraces the darkness, you can force pull droids then hit square, force crunching the droid (a la Luke in Mando S2 finale).
The Crossguard has a combo where you pull everyone in with L2 R2 and then perform sundering swipe. It's the best way to deal with multiple enemies if you're determined to do it with the stance.
Here's a few of my single target combos I used through Grandmaster (I use xbox controller) Single Blade Guard Break + Punish - Tap Tap Hold (X) this combo can pretty much go infinite until it breaks a guard, after guard break you can follow up with Tap(Y) or Force Push to create distance which gives you time to switch stance or stim up, OR follow up with LB+X for even more damage. If you really want it to actually go infinite you can Tap Tap Hold and then Tap Hold as many times as you want after that. The cadence interrupts most enemy AI, I found and is especially good against the BX Battle Droids. Crossguard Slam - Tap Hold (X) -> Hold (Y) basically the same as the Single Blade combo, but slower and heavier damage obviously. After Hold(Y) you can follow up with either a fully charged lightsaber throw, stim, stance switch, or whatever else. This one is good against Staff Purge Troopers or the Hammer Raiders. You can also hold block after you land a parry and hit X to use the Cleaving Swing. Double Blade - I like to fight with no camera lock and attack just to the side of an enemy, usually prevents your saber from bouncing and lets you basically orbit an enemy. Once you get their back you can force push -> life -> slam -> vortex dive. The actual combo is pretty force heavy, but the amount of force you get back from Double Blade stance is significant. I use this mostly on bigger enemies; monsters, AT-ST's, etc. Dual Wield - its easy to get caught button mashing on this stance, best combo I found though is to do a force push into a Twin Vipers (throw both sabers) dashing in to close distance, then Backstep Slash into uncoiled strikes. Truthfully, the push is mostly to stop an enemy from rushing you down, then the Twin Vipers is for guard damage, Backstep Slash should put their guard down to about one hit, then the Uncoiled Strikes should guard break and you can get the full damage from that attack off and end it with the Serpent's Bite. Blade & Blaster - It's the "Highest Range" stance but all that means is it has the best gap closer. Use Flying Lunge to get in close and do a lot of guard damage, then shoot, swing, shoot. If they're guard is broken at that point, immediately use Energizing Flurry, if not, interrupt your combo with a force push, then swing, shoot and follow up.
With the crossguard i did notice doing the hold square move can combo in its basic light attack chain very nicely. If you use it on the second hit it actually gives you a thrust which is nice !
Holding the button at various points in the combo for crossguard is great. If you hold it on the 2nd attack, it does a quick thrust that is good for taking low health enemies out before they regain guard
The cross guard stance has been my favourite. Combining the force slam and the rending strike pretty much one-shots most enemies. It was especially helpful when dealing with the bounty hunters and their minions.
Crossguard is such a rush to use. Baiting out your opponents and then punishing them by practically smiting them with a laser greatsword is a blast. Plus it looks awesome in cutscenes lol.
@@itsalljaublin4814 I’m not ashamed to admit it was on a combination of Jedi Knight and Jedi Master. I enjoy playing my games in the way I’m comfortable. I don’t need to try and flex on people. Who cares what difficulty a person plays on? All that matters is the players individual enjoyment of their own experience.
@@West723 I did not mean it like that, my bad. It does affect damage output but I thought your comment involved parrying which it didn’t, I looked at your comment and another’s and thought it was a combination of the 2
The combo with cross guard comes from its ability to stagger even the toughest enemies. Most beasts, even reyvus, you could square attack at an opening - then hold square for stab which staggers them - then another regular square attack while they staggered. Big damage opportunity that you create with the stagger. This is on Grandmaster btw
For the Dual Sabers there are 3 or 4 points in the basic 4 hit combo where you have the option to hold for Uncoiled Strikes. Beginning, Middle (2) and End. - So you can potentially get 3-4 different combos.
For cross guard you can dash inbetween the attacks you do with square and it will still retain the combo instead of resetting it. Also, if you dash before the first square attack, the animation is faster. Makes the stance a lot more fluid if you use it this way. What i hate about it is the sprinting attack... i avoided it a lot but it became fun for me endgame, ended up finishing the game with it and the blaster stance.
yeah, CG running atk is rough, thats why i use the single blade dash as my gap closer and switch to CG mid combo, it makes it very fluid and fun to use
One fun force combo (really more fun than optimal). Requires upgrades in Confusion and Force Pull. 1-Force pull, 2- Then press Y to Force pull a 2nd target. 3- Finally, press Rb to make both of your new meatshields fire their weapons. (Very fun with Missile and Chaingun troopers)
For the Crossguard stance, one of the best combos is breaking the block meter but then instead of using a force attack right away you use a normal strike followed up by the force strike. this works because the normal strike is short enough so that most standard enemies and bosses can't recover their block meter in time. This combo helped me A LOT when doing the later game bosses like Rayvis and Dagan.
There's a couple of neat things you can do with the double-bladed stance in terms of the 4 hit combo you get from endless hurricane / gathering tempest. I was messing around with it the other day and discovered that dodging / focused sight does not reset the combo. For example, you can start the combo, dodge twice, then activate the next sequence, dodge twice again, then activate the next sequence and so on. It's pretty common for an enemy to parry at least one of the attacks in the double bladed combo sequence but if you use focused sight right after their parry animation you will dodge their counterattack and then YOU can counter their counter with one of the later sequences in the gathering tempest combo chain which both hit several times, causing a lot of damage and replenishing a significant amount of force meter. It feels incredibly badass and looks amazing. Focused sight is truly one of the most overlooked abilities in the game...
I have a really nice combo that's super satisfying. You need the vortex drive for the double-bladed lightsaber and the auto parry for the duel wield (which you have by default). Start in duel wield and do the auto parry by holding triangle (on PS), and then during the long parry animation, switch to the double-bladed and immediately vortex drive afterwards. It destroys stamina and health and is great against enemies like the purge trooper😊
One trick I found that’s fun is that (once you unlock air dash) if you press jump and dodge *immediately* after, you can do a dash that you can keep repeating in order to move pretty fast. I roll my thumb across the buttons to get the input in. This is really useful for traveling around the map quickly.
@@Greed26 Yep! Its nice and buggy. I got stuck on a puzzle in the Jedha Temple. You come out of the water and there's a big movable panels on both walls. I force pulled the wall so I got stuck in-between them, then used force dash to literally clip into the void and pass through a solid wall - into the next area.
My first play through I used a dual/cross combination for my stances. I found doing the dual combo to stagger enemies followed by switching to the cross stance and using the force attack to be pretty fluid and worked wonders with the perk that boosted damage.
Thanks for all the tips! Looking forward to new game+ features and enjoying the fantastic story all over again. Just finished my first play through at 55hrs 70/30 emphasis on exploration/story played primarily (90%) dual/double stances. Gonna try new stances and combos on my next playthrough. Easily one of the best star wars stories/games I've played. Haven't played them all, but I've played quite a few
I pretty much use cross guard stance exclusively since I got it. Now it’s slow and have a huge wind up on almost every attack, especially the last hit on your triple combo, however, what I found is, that you hit two basic attack, the hold the attack button, it’ll do a thrust move, delivering quite a good amount of stamina dmg to the enemy, then you can go either the power throw, or another attack holding the attack button which will do an overhead vertical cut, and the dmg is close to the attack2 (the one with triangle on PS and Y on Xbox) So crossguard has a unique use to it but if you manage to figure things out, you don’t want to use anything ever again ;)
So glad to hear I’m not alone in wanting to play on the Padawan difficulty. I was playing Jedi Knight, but it wasn’t fun. It was annoying, and I couldn’t seem to get the party right. Padawan lets me not get so involved in the fight and I can step back and learn. 100%, the double blade and cross guard stance were my go-to stances in Grand Master. Cross Guard takes a lot of learning, but once you have it down, it shreds. I played Jedi Palawan for my play-through, occasionally turning it into the story for some of the harder boss fights. However, today I was noticing that enemies were particularly easy, I thought it was just that I was really powerful from leveling up. I check the difficulty and turns out I forgot to turn it off story for a good few hours, like 5 or so. I was very annoyed when I found this out, thankfully I was just getting the collectibles at the end of the game I think a lot of the issues you were running into come down to play style. While the dual stance is my personal go-to, when you’re dealing with so many enemies the double blade is the way to go, and the game also forces you to use all of your abilities at the higher difficulties. I played it through on Jedi Master, it felt like the right amount of aggression and damage balance for my playthrough. I played Fallen Order in Story Mode cuz the harder difficulties were too challenging. Now that I got better I play Jedi Survivor on Jedi Knight difficulty level, just feels appropriate and actually I‘m doing okay. Tho during the boss fight with my 9th sister I died like 6 times probably before killing her. 😂 But still more rewarding. You actually need to strategize and get better at dodging and parrying. I don’t think I‘ll ever be good enough to play on the even harder difficulties.😅
The Dual Blade one has another combo. It’s unlocked near the end, it’s the double throw. This works INSANELY well with Slow abd the upgrade that lets you do another hit before they are unsliwed, especially with the perk thst increases lightsaber throw damage. The result is a multi high damage consecutive attack that won’t get blocked. Even without slow time, the dual saber throw is insanely useful. Also like the multi shot blaster attack, you can use AoE Force Lift + Dual Saber Ultimate throw for massive damage all around. Just letting you know.
I don't know how many people know this but, if you just mash the strike button with the staff, you'll do the combo that most people have ulocked. But, if you pause for a moment have the first 2 swings, then start swinging again, he'll do the side to side twirl with it.
Some tips I can give. A cross guard combo I sometimes use is the charge attack (hold basic attack button) to stagger an enemy and possibly break their guard and then follow it up with the focus attack/cleaving strike. For most enemies this can knock them down if not kill them outright at the cost of large amounts of force. Some enemies such as the ATST and some bounty hunters use multiple grenades/rockets at once and using basic force push only reflects one. If you instead hold the force push button you can use mass push which can reflect multiple, usually also resulting in some heavy damage to any enemies caught in the blast. Howling push increases the radius of mass push which makes this easier to pull off and will also typically stagger whoever threw/fired the explosive, making them more likely to be hit be their own bomb. Upgrade the Confusion skill tree. Mind tricks are pretty cheap and when upgraded you can turn the tide of a battle by tricking a dangerous enemy to fight for you. The redirected strength skill is also something you shouldn’t sleep on because you can do some serious damage if you get a heavy gunner or rocket trooper.
Dude. You can switch stances mid combo. Her is my fav. Dual sabers counter move. Switch to double blade. Then forward spin at them. land hold square do that combo then hold square again breaks all guards almost instantly. You can switch stances and melt bars no prob. Especially with dual blades because you can cancel and switch to make it even better.
With the dual wield saber stance, you can normal lightsaber throw, keep holding right mouse button(block) then while the second saber is still thrown(in air) press mb1(attack), and it will do the flip dash attack from the single saber stance tree. Other than that, you're kinda limited with the dual wield, but its fun
In terms of actual combos, If using both single and blaster stance. You're actually able to switch to blaster mid combo and fire a shot and the animation will flow perfectly as if being in blaster stance. Also with single blade you can extend your combo by hitting the left analogue stick either left, right, or back mid combo. There is a different animation between pressing left/right and pressing back (after testing this is the only stace that can do that) Not so much combo combos but just neat little combat tricks I've learned
Congrats to you for noticing, but more importantly shout out to the devs for incorporating these different combat stances. They are all based on the 7 Forms of Lightsaber combat from the Star Wars Universe. (1)Shii Cho, (2) Makashi, (3) Soresu, (4) Atari, (5) Shien/Djemm So, (6) Niman, (7) Juyo/Vaapad, w/Jhar Kai covering dual blades. Each stance has its own strengths and weaknesses that seem to be included in the gameplay.
Once you figure out the crossguard stance its easily the best for boss fights. Doubleblade is probably my favorite because the crowd control goes hard, blaster is the most fun. Dual blade is the best for melee specific fights, one handed is underrated. My wish for the 3rd game is a way to switch between all stances without needing a workbench or meditation point.
I love using the crossguard stance for that charged reflection alone lol the power move in the air is a bonus and I love the sundering swipe too you can chop all enemies in front of you (within the range of course) and be done lol
Cross guard is lackluster for combos and there really isn't too much you can do about that unfortunately. But between it's defensive potential (Massive Block Gauge) and it's overall damage capacity, it's a worth while for passive/conservative players. But the Howling Pull and Horizontal Strike (Can't remember the skill name off hand, but it's the cleaving slash) is reasonably good as well for AOE potential.
I saw a guy on tiktok use the controlled throw for the double sided saber on a lifted enemy. He held the saber under the guy and waited for him to fall on top of it😂😂
There’s a hidden combo with Double-Bladed stance: Instead of mashing X/Square, press and *hold* it, then repeat after one second delay. Cal will do an entirely different combo that isn’t mentioned anywhere in the game. You can also mix this combo with the standard one by mashing, then press/hold to change combos. For example: X, X, X, X - Normal combo X (hold), delay, X (hold), delay, X (hold), delay, X (hold) - Hidden combo X, X, X (hold), delay, X (hold) - Mix combo Also fun fact: the final attack from the hidden combo is identical to the spinning attack Trilla uses in Fallen Order.
I love using this one combo that uses to stances, using the auto parry ability from the dual wield stance with the spin upgrade and then switching to the double bladed stance and using the vortex dive
Huh. I really thought this was going to be about stance-switch combos. I haven't tried to learn to use them yet, but I've definitely heard about them. Wouldn't mind seeing an in-depth video from you about that!
This is a perfect video for me I decided to spend about 3 hours grinding towards the end of the game on a xp farm i found to unlock every single ability possible
Master stance switching, slot in the Versatility perk that gives more damage shortly after stance switching. Stun an enemy, force slam, also have the perk Equilibrium, swap to the Crossguard and watch the immense amount of health you can chunk off a single hit. Swap back to another stance and have fun. I find the Stun shot on the blaster is so overpowered. Granted this is basically an end game type of build. AND if you want the blaster to do more damage there are perks for that and you can either get the explosive charge shot that does extra splash damage or the ricochet shot and just mow down enemies and have a nice pocket burst shot for chunkier enemies. Stun shot tho is nice because it doesn't effect the stamina meter and it sets up crossguard uppercut or heavy slam way too perfectly.
With cross-guard, you can chain into the heavy attack, tap attack then hold for stronger, it also works after two tap attacks from regular swings (the hold button is the same as your regular attack button). Can do similar thing with the double blade attacks
OP dual blade combo I didn't see mentioned, throw+dash strike. I am not sure but probably you need dash strike from single bladed stance unlocked and maybe the second throw from dual stance. When the first throw lands instead of pressing the same button to do a second throw use the dash move and call will do a double spinning attack instead of the normal dash attack, then you can follow with the other combo you showed for more damage if posture is broken.
Double sided has the most satisfying to pull off, when you hold X/square multiple times in the chain the 3rd and 4th look amazing, and while often you’ll get interrupted, if you dodge and get back to it quickly it’ll keep the chain going where u had left off, so hold x, hold x, dodge, hold x, hold x. Also works without holding for the different looking combo
My current favorite combo is an alternation between blaster and cross gaurd. Since ammo and force are separated resources they combo well together . During the spawn of oggdo fight i found the charge blaster shot stunned the boss allowing for a quick swap to cross gaurd for a heavy force strike. Combo stuns most bosses and does a good chunk of damage
When you use dual blade and throw one blade you have one blade for a short time. If you press L1, triangle and square right after, you will throw one lightsaber and do the single blade special attack to dash to the enemy and hit them. Really awesome combo
I’m using crossguard , and staff. The thing that i realised is that you can actually keep enemies at bay with the crossguard’s block+light attack input, that way Cal is knocking back almost enyone in a circular arc. It can be comboed with a shockwave or a long light input force attack. It destroyes stamina bars, and if you time it right , you will hit the downed enemy with the charged light, that eats health like it was macncheese.
Here is another one. In double blade stance, you can hold square for stronger attack. You can conect 4 diffrent attacks either fast ones or strong ones in anny way you want.
I feel as though cross guard stance pairs nicely with the auto dodge skill from the survivor tree. Activate auto dodge until the enemy finishes their combo, then go in for a powerful strike. Depending on the speed of the enemy, that strike will either take down a lot of their block meter or a lot of their health
pressing the dodge button without an movement right when an enemy attacks is best and builds force meter. It's really good for enemies that do unblockables during normal attacks.
Crossguard is the most Force hungry stance of them all, my favorite Crossguard combo is to do the shorthop aerial to the charged slash thrust followed with another charged slash into Force slash.
I use blaster and crossguard. I have the stun charged shot and the perks that increase lightsaber damage after a blaster shot, and the one that increases damage after a stance switch. Charge stun shot, immediately switch to crossguard and either hold normal attack or use the Y/ triangle attack. insane damage. it usually knocks the target down and allows for follow up as well.
Standing over most knocked over enemies will show a prompt and if you just normal attack on that prompt in time Cal will stab down and execute his fallen foe in one strike.(Brutally quick and efficient with the double-saber) The cross guard is best used in tandem with other stances that can make up for it's slowness or deal with groups more efficiently. You have to really invest in the cross guard stance to make it viable against groups of enemies, but just with the first ability it's already useful in one on one duels. It breaks through guard very quickly and can be used to deliver big hits straight to the health bar when dodging and counter striking right into enemy combos. The blaster stance is even better at this. It has one of the highest damage and range initial attacks with that quick thrust and if you use like a rapier and outrange your foes sneaking hits inside their guard rather than trying to break it you'll start quickly dealing damage. Mix in some blaster fire and point blank 'parries' and humanoid enemies don't stand a chance. Even many large beasts will suffer some knock back from the point blank skill, all droids too including the DT-7 sentry droids. One blaster parry will knock them over. Smack on that marksmenship perk and you're laughing in a fresh graveyard.
You can also use perfect parry blaster bolts (and deflect them back at two foes if you have the skill) by running up to them and parrying them if you have them slowed down with force slow
Has anybody had the combo with the dual wield sabers where it turns back into the double bladed saber idk if it was a glitch or what but it happened I clipped it.
A great combo of stances cross guard and double blade. Once block meter is broken, uppercut with cross guard and switch to double blade vortex dive. Does a ton of damage to your opponent.
I have a combo idea especially since it regains force. But lifting multiple opponents, pulling one with a blaster, and then using redirected aggression. Since you still have force you could slam them back down and continue into any combo if there are any remainders
For me, stance switching is a MASSIVE tactic i rely on. On my most recent playthru i have been using the single saber for that distance closer and then switch to another depending on the situation
Lift up an enemy and hit him with the force slash (triangle) in grossguard stance is one of my favorite. Has something off Darth Vader in the final scene in rogue one!
If you choose the dual wield and blaster stances you can do your hits when your (almost) finished just switch to the blaster stance shoot once switch again to the dual wield then do more combos.
You can also change stance after any attack even go from air dash attack in single into the smash wave attack from crosssword stance and straight bk into dash attack from single blade all in one combo. You can also start square attack change stance into crossswrod and get hold square attack from that stance and so on.
Cross guard another combo. Attack -> Hold Attack -> Hold Attack. Second one will be lunge attack with insane range and third one will be classical strong attack.
Didn't realise that the auto-dodge ability worked on unblockables. The one time I tried it, an unblockable connected with me so I just assumed it didn't dodge them. Wonder if it works against Spawn of Oggdo, because his tongue grab hitbox is SO busted.
Subscribed, liked and sharing this video on twitch. Can't wait for part 2! Thank you so much for these combo ideas, my first playthrough has really been investing into dual lightsabers and the blaster stance. I can't seem to get good combos in the blaster stance. I look forward to seeing what you've come up with.
For the Double Saber theres 2 ways to do the basic 5 move combo. You can press each button fast or you can Hold each for a second and he does a pretty awesome alternative.
This is one of my favorite combos to do for taking out big groups of enemies bc it looks cool and is pretty effective. In the dual wield stance u use the force lift to lift up a crowd, then use the dancing blades ability (hold the lightsaber throw input to perform) and watch everything die 👍
Crossguard normal attack into special is actually pretty quick if you need to completely destroy a block meter, you can follow up with a force slam then do switch stances to something quicker and can produce more dps such as blaster stance or dual wield once the block meter has been broken
you can also combo double bladed attacks with taps and holds. they do different strings and can mix and match but i usually only go up to the third string.
Thanks for watching the video guys!

This was my favorite combo
Blaster is something I want nothing to do with. It's just not what makes the game good. The challenge is from all jedi games, right back to Jedi Knight was being an actual Jedi and not having a blaster to deal with ranged foes. Crossguard is massive for dealing with heavy foes.... but I feel standard is the most useful against any foe.

@@EvanSolomonBerger it's so fun, isn't it? Like hot damn, you feel like a badass, for sure. CHEERS

I thought i was the only one who discovered that :)
Best move in the game: While Cal embraces the darkness, you can force pull droids then hit square, force crunching the droid (a la Luke in Mando S2 finale).
Yes this is it. I have been showing this to all my friends who don’t believe when I tell them
On humans like storm troopers you can mind trick them and it instantly kills yhem making them flail around
The Crossguard has a combo where you pull everyone in with L2 R2 and then perform sundering swipe. It's the best way to deal with multiple enemies if you're determined to do it with the stance.
This also works with the single stance’s non-holding Triangle/Y spin move, it hits full 360 around Cal. Super satisfying to pull off
Yeah, I like that one, but it is so slow, it is supper hard to pull off without getting interrupted
Here's a few of my single target combos I used through Grandmaster (I use xbox controller)
Single Blade Guard Break + Punish - Tap Tap Hold (X) this combo can pretty much go infinite until it breaks a guard, after guard break you can follow up with Tap(Y) or Force Push to create distance which gives you time to switch stance or stim up, OR follow up with LB+X for even more damage.
Didn't see your comment, but I commented the same. I ended up using crossguard and blaster for the latter half of the game!
Noticed the same, sadly only after beating the game maining crossguard
After some testing I’m pretty sure the charge attack used as the first, second, or third, all have the same range. The thrust does look cool thou
Single blade has the best combo potential in my opinion. Especially when using triangle move as an ender
On what difficulty, I know it’s not grand master bc I beat the game and I had to sweat on almost every enemy lol😅
@@itsalljaublin4814 the damage output doesn't change on different difficulties. So it doesn't matter on which difficulty
Thank you, I’ve been refreshing my search bar looking for a video just like this. When it comes to lightsaber combat you’re the king.
1-Force pull,
2- Then press Y to Force pull a 2nd target.
Hey I just commented this exact combo lol
Definitely gonna have to try this out, sounds like a nightmare inducing windmill-chainsaw of a lightsaber attack combo😂😂
Does this combo work with the upgraded auto parry?
Those massive chunks with the Crossguard attacks is so satisfying. The defensive capabilities with the charged deflect do big damage too
One trick I found that’s fun is that (once you unlock air dash) if you press jump and dodge *immediately* after, you can do a dash that you can keep repeating in order to move pretty fast. I roll my thumb across the buttons to get the input in. This is really useful for traveling around the map quickly.
I've been doing exactly this and immediately thought, "this is probably what speedrunning this game is gonna look like" lol
2:28 "It's high noon."
Now it’s slow and have a huge wind up on almost every attack, especially the last hit on your triple combo, however, what I found is, that you hit two basic attack, the hold the attack button, it’ll do a thrust move, delivering quite a good amount of stamina dmg to the enemy, then you can go either the power throw, or another attack holding the attack button which will do an overhead vertical cut, and the dmg is close to the attack2 (the one with triangle on PS and Y on Xbox)
So crossguard has a unique use to it but if you manage to figure things out, you don’t want to use anything ever again ;)
By far, double blade had been the best stance for me. It absolutly melts especially when you have it with the perk that makes hut stgger more
So glad to hear I’m not alone in wanting to play on the Padawan difficulty.
Force Lift + Saber Throw is generally pretty good. Crossguard, Double Bladed and Dual Wield all have powerful Saber Throws.
Dual Saber throw can go upwards? Nice
I don't know how many people know this but, if you just mash the strike button with the staff, you'll do the combo that most people have ulocked. But, if you pause for a moment have the first 2 swings, then start swinging again, he'll do the side to side twirl with it.
Best combo is focused parry to the counter to then the double blade spin attack
This is what makes UA-cam worth coming back to. Thanks for the advice bro 👌🏿
8:00 "or you can just swing away like Joaquin Phoenix" I immediately subscribed after hearing that😄
Some tips I can give.
You did awesome making that drone footage work. It came out super good!!!
7:50 when he said this i did the rock eyebrow raise and died when he said pause 💀
I'm on 3rd play through and didn't realise some of these moves work together so thanks, dude!
There is a different animation between pressing left/right and pressing back (after testing this is the only stace that can do that)
Not so much combo combos but just neat little combat tricks I've learned
I smashed that like button the second you said "mag." Boom!
So glad to see the blaster stance get love and attention. Most people seem to sleep on it.
Dude...your pop culture references are incredibly choice, well versed and we'll done
This was a good video man. Also thank you for properly rating the single blade stance!
I love using the crossguard stance for that charged reflection alone lol the power move in the air is a bonus and I love the sundering swipe too you can chop all enemies in front of you (within the range of course) and be done lol
for the crossgaurd u can mix in the hold basic attack skill to get a jab that has a ton of range and a over head as well
Cross guard is lackluster for combos and there really isn't too much you can do about that unfortunately.
Sundering Swipe
with the cross stance you can be quite aggressive if you know when to hit, even attack when you are attacked in red.
I saw a guy on tiktok use the controlled throw for the double sided saber on a lifted enemy. He held the saber under the guy and waited for him to fall on top of it😂😂
There’s a hidden combo with Double-Bladed stance:
Instead of mashing X/Square, press and *hold* it, then repeat after one second delay. Cal will do an entirely different combo that isn’t mentioned anywhere in the game. You can also mix this combo with the standard one by mashing, then press/hold to change combos.
For example:
X, X, X, X - Normal combo
X (hold), delay, X (hold), delay, X (hold), delay, X (hold) - Hidden combo
X, X, X (hold), delay, X (hold) - Mix combo
Also fun fact: the final attack from the hidden combo is identical to the spinning attack Trilla uses in Fallen Order.
The best combo for split blade is stressfully spamming the basic attack until I have enough force to use the autoparry
do the auto parry with the double blade then switch stances to cross-guard and hit with the heavy. it’s a great combo
Happy to hear and see you are doing more diverse star wars content! Have a great day or night
Great combat tips, I've no idea some of these were even possible and some of these I just ignored until now.
I installed the game two weeks ago and finished all skill trees and I have an extra 24 skill points
I don't have a favorite combo but I do have favorite stances, Dual wield and double blade.
Definitely want a part 2!😊
How did you do the 360 globe transition on the ownasaber ad? that was just as good as the rest of the video
There are def some good combos switching stances. Spend some time exploring that, it's a blast.
Standing over most knocked over enemies will show a prompt and if you just normal attack on that prompt in time Cal will stab down and execute his fallen foe in one strike.(Brutally quick and efficient with the double-saber)
The cross guard is best used in tandem with other stances that can make up for it's slowness or deal with groups more efficiently.
Has something off Darth Vader in the final scene in rogue one!
ayyy youre using the same kyle katarn outfit that i made during my playthough, nice!
Good video, the Signs reference, not so much 😂
If you choose the dual wield and blaster stances you can do your hits when your (almost) finished just switch to the blaster stance shoot once switch again to the dual wield then do more combos.
You can also change stance after any attack even go from air dash attack in single into the smash wave attack from crosssword stance and straight bk into dash attack from single blade all in one combo. You can also start square attack change stance into crossswrod and get hold square attack from that stance and so on.
I'm glad I'm not the only one that instantly thought of TM40 😂😂😂😂
Thank you . I like combos)
Jump over the tongue and dash unblockables
@illeraa tried the jump. Seems to just want to grab me regardless. The other attacks are fine, just the tongue one just works as it pleases.
It doesn't work against Spawn of Oggdo's tongue. At least it didn't for me. Which sucks because I got that ability just for that frog.
@aaronbobbydale7391 aw that's unfortunate. Gonna have to just grin and bear it, or lower my difficulty.
@@dashiejinxx100 Took me about 30 tries on Jedi Knight difficulty. Without any of the cheese methods.
the cross guard force slam demolishes block meters so you can hit then with that then go for a strike for lots of damage
just like the double-bladed combo, you can yank enemies towards you while in crossguard stance then use the wide swing to take care of a lot of them
Subscribed, liked and sharing this video on twitch.
You can make combos of each

8:10 how do you fight against so many troops in the training?
I need to practice focused sight more. I didn't realize it was different from the "parry dodge" thing.
Love the Signs reference
Just using point blank and finishers on fodder enemies makes me feel like the hunter from bloodborne and I can't get enough.
