I thought I was the only person to put a baby seat in the back of my mustang convertible. In fact both kids came home from the hospital in their rear facing seats. Never had any issues. If you aren’t too tall you can fit two adults and two baby seats (one front facing one rear) without much comprise. Trunk is big for a convertible can fit plenty.
I have a new accord and a old jeep xj thinking of a getting a mustang for me but ill occasionally have to take my kid with me so as long as a car seat fits im golden
You can easily fit 17. 4 in the back, 3 under the seat, 2 in the passenger seat, one under the passenger seat, one under the drivers seat, and teo on the drivers seat. Then 3 people in the trunk.
Wait until the kids get older and sit in booster seats. They won't have enough legroom and you won't either. I know it from when I take my kids. Not fun at all I can barely drive or they can barely sit in the back.
My dad has a mustang but he only goes fast on the highway my big sister is 13 and my little brother is 6 we go in that a lot my dad drives fast and my little brother not scared

does a stroller fit in the trunk? last time we bought a teeny tiny side table for the balcony (that can go over sofa and it wouldn't fit!!!!) So obviously the trunk is big enough but the opening to it its quite narrow. any luck there?

I own a Mustang but no way I would put kids (or anyone) in the back seat. Low ANCAP rating was largely around rear seat passenger safety.
