Although I was looking forward to the Texas Leica in action, I never thought I would end up lusting over an M8 by the end of the video! Gorgeous Photos!
Love the yellow and white classic car staged in front of building. Reminds me of the yellow Rolls parked in front of Bijan's on Rodeo Drive. Beautiful colors !
I’ve had a Leica M8 since 2009. About 45000 clicks Excellent range finder . Not the best not even close but excellent photography tool . Sometimes less is better .. Had black dots on sensor a few years ago cleaned them off with distilled water never to come back. There’s a strong chance of shutter snapping now but I don’t care.
Art Deco + M8 is fantastic match. Superbly taken. Been 15 years since I was in Miami, perfectly captured ! The colony hotel trio is my fav. My m8 sadly bit the dust during the week. Looking at Pixii as a range finder alternative, colour science seems to be close to m8/m9.
@@MarcusLloyd I think circuitry somewhere, it doesn’t display the shutter count in the lcd but you can see the the light metering in range finder. Shutter won’t fire. I am going to check if it’s repairable. I knew it would happen eventually as this was a heavily used copy when I got it.
So my M8 not repairable. I have been getting some nice results on the Fuji x-e1 and the voigtlander 28 mm. Nice colours, not quite the M8 magic but it’s scratching an itch until I decide wether to get another copy (I think I will).
We have a similar shooting style so all of these were great! But since I do digital I would have gotten a couple black and white especially on the Avalon!
@@MarcusLloyd after I spend time with this Minolta 40mm f2 M Rokkor I’ll put that out. If you haven’t read up on this lens I’d suggest you do. It would pair perfect with your M8, give you a 50mm equiv and it’s an actual Leica copy rebranded from their partnership.
Beautiful as usual. The Barbizon Hotel shot is a painting. The colors have a delicate quality and loving that dark blue/black edge of the cloud in the corner! The music was sweet. Who is the artist?
After my gorgeous Olympus C5050 died from CCD corrosion, I didn't buy any camera that sports that kind of sensor. As a matter in fact, I fazed out all my cameras that had them...
Nostalgia is such a powerful feeling. This is what comes to my mind looking at the subjects and colors of your photos. 🤙
I love to hear that Stefano…emotion is something i always hope to have in my photos but you never know if its resonating

Hahahaha that sensor can make magic

Those colors are unreal

Love when you shoot these intros outside - Great change of pace! Also, clean Spring/Summer fit too!
Wow ! Wonderful.
Really nice set of images. Damn, now I am tempted to look for an M8!
Haha thank you
Love your work, my friend.
Thanks brother

Thanks brother
love these bro! I went back and looked at your video with the Q in Miami....I think the 35mm Equiv went perfect in Miami!

Bangin' images with that Leica bro! beautiful colors and character!

Ah man I hate to hear that. Did the sensor fail?

@@suburban_delight8969 yea that’s true. We are running the risk by shooting with the m8 of failure but I sure hope I have a lot more time with mine

Black and white would be so sweet with that scene. I’m going to mess around with it
M8 + Sunny Weather = Great content 💯.

Great work man. Love these sets
Thanks brother! Ready for your episode with the m mount glass on the Fuji

@@DeeRosa oh yea bro I’m aware of that lens. Never shot with it tho

Something about that shot just looks so dreamy to me. The artist is Chris mazuera
Nice shots!
Leica M8, even better!!
Fantastic video #subbed 👌🏼
Nice work buddy.
Thanks bro

Did the M8 sensor have the corrosion problem of the M9?
Nope. That’s mainly why I went with the m8 over the m9 just for peace of mind with corrosion
Leica M8. The color machine.
Hahaha that ccd wins again
This is the M8 with the IR cut filter, right?
Yep yep

If you went street shooting in my city with a camera as valuable as that, you would be leaving without it.
Doubt that fam 😉
Not exactly street photography... more like architecture/landscape. Nice pics and colors though!
