Just tried to see what in the free LUTs link and I found different stuff there, with the exception of LUTs. And I am qurious, why do you need to know my company, my position, the company phone number and all other info just to give away something? What if I don't work for a company? A freelancer. 😊
Hello, how do I set the camera and how do I set Premier Pro so that after recording in log format, all clips after editing and adding LUT have the same color even though they were recorded at different time intervals (for example, one clip was recorded at 11 and the next at 16 or on one the sun was behind the clouds and on the other it wasn't)
Hi, I'm not sure if I have heard the explanations accurately (or my brain was just trying hard to understand the concept), but why do you have different LUTs? Is it for different grading? Sorry for my ignorance.
As a beginner like you, from what I understand is LUTs are applied depending on the scenario. For example, a LUT that is preset/designed for for outdoor videos can't be applied to a video shot indoors. You can but it would look overexposed so it defeats the point of applying LUTs in the first place. I'm not that sure but that's what I understood from this video. Hopefully, someone corrects me on this as I too am a beginner.
You leave a LOT out. Like for example, calibrating what ever monitor you are using before messing with LUTS, because if your monitor is way off, you might be choosing a LUT based on YOUR uncalibrated monitor and while it may look good when you're done on your monitor, it may look the same on someone elses uncalibrated or calibrated monitor. And what about the limits of your monitor to display all colors? Which of the several methods are being used to map colors outside the capability or gamut of the monitor to the monitor's gamut? You mentioned "color profile" once but this is a file that contains many LUTS, and which one is applied depends on what type of gamut mapping you want. So, really, you're choosing a color profile and then some settings that will determine which LUT in the color profile that will be applied. This is all basic color science, and I understand you are trying to simplify, but discussing LUTs without discussing device gamuts and calibration is just half the story.
This is the most straightforward explanation I've seen. Thanks!
Now I get it! Very well put this video is! 10/10!!

Hi i have a question, can i use LUTS on a go pro Hero 11? Or there could be the Log problem?
So you edit first and then apply the LUT? Or apply the LUT and adjust?
Pls anyone tell me how he's doing the animation when he is dragging the LUT from left to right over the clip
Very helpful. Thanks.
What app is that to edit video ?
Launch looks more delicious with the LUT. Is it truly more tasty after using lust? 🤤🤤🤤

None of these are LUT or "look up table". These are called filters. Why make it complicated?😅
Please explain then. What IS LUT if this is Not it as you say?
